Objective To explore the association of T cell immunoglobulin- and mucin-domain-containing molecule-3 (TIM-3) gene polymorphism and IFN-γ levels with the incidence of primary nephrotic syndrome (PNS) in children. Methods A case-control study was conducted and 21 Han patients with PNS were selected and included in case group. Meanwhile, 20 each from Mongolian and Han were selected and assigned into control group and at least three generations of their family members were from the same nationality. PCR-restriction fragment polymorphism analysis was used to detect and analyze single nucleotide polymorphisms of exon -574A/C in TIM-3 gene in PNS children and controls. Also the genotype and allele frequencies between the two groups were compared. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the level of serum IFN-γ and its changes was analyzed. Results There was no significant difference in the distribution of genotypes (AA, AC, CC) of exon -574A/C in TIM-3 gene between the Han and Mongolian subgroups in control group (P=0.741). Neither did the allele frequency between the two groups (P=0.655). Compared with control group (Han and Mongolian), the frequencies of AA, AC and CC genotypes were 9.52%, 28.57% and 61.90% respectively in -574A/C loci of the Han nationality children with PNS. There was significant difference in genotypes distribution between the two groups (P=0.017). The frequency of C allele in PNS children of Han nationality was 76.2% which was higher than that in normal control group (50%), and the difference was statistically significant (P=0.005). Compared with A allele carriers, the risk of PNS in C allele carriers increased by 3.20 times (95%CI: 1.39～7.37). There were no significant differences in serum IFN-γ among the Han nationality with PNS, Han and Mongolian normal control groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The single nucleotide polymorphism of the exon -574A/C of TIM-3 gene may be related to the pathogenesis of PNS in children. In addition, IFN-γ is not associated with the incidence of primary nephrotic syndrome in children.

Objective To study the relationship between high on-treatment platelet reactivity (HTPR) and early neurological deterioration (END) in acute non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction patients.Methods Two hundred and fifteen acute non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction patients were divided into END group (n=55) and EDD-free group (n=160).The patients were given oral aspirin (300 mg daily) on the day after admission,and fasting blood samples were taken at 6-24 h after the first dose of aspirin.Their platelet aggregative function (PAGT) was assayed with ADP to detect the platelet responsiveness to aspirin.The incidence of HTPR was compared between the two groups.The independent risk factors for END were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression analysis.The value of PAGT in predicting END was assessed according to its ROC curve.Results The incidence of HTRP was higher in END group than in END-free group (63.34％ vs 43.75％,P＜0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that HTRP was an independent risk factor for acute non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction.The area under the ROC curve was 0.864 for PAGT in predicting acute non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction (95 ％ CI:0.806-0.922,P=0.000).Conclusion HTPR is closely related with END in acute non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction patients.

Objective To evaluate the clinical applicational value of color doppler flow image(CDFI)to perforation of ventricular septum resulting from myocardial infarct.Methods Before 7 cases confirmed perforation of ventricular septum though DSA,were examined by CDFI.The two results were compared to study the difference of bothes.Results All patients' results though CDFI were as the same as those though DSA,and accuracy rating was 100%.Conclusion CDFI may be applicated to early diagnose perforation of ventricular septum.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic and adverse effects of metallic intratracheal stent placement in relapsing polychondritis with severe tracheobronchial malacia.Methods Five tracheal stents had been implanted in three patients with traeheobronchial malacia.One patient was implanted with two tubular steuts in trachea and one“Y”shaped stent for bilateral bronchi.Another patient used a tubular stent in total tracheal segment.The last patient used a tubular stent in the upper segment of trachea.Results All the stents were implanted successfully with obvious improvement of dyspnea after the treatment. Conclusions Metallic intratracheal stent placement can really relieve symptoms and improve the life quality in patients with tracheobronchial malacia caused by relapsing polychondritis.

Objective To discuss the research status and hotspots related to breeding, planting, harvest, processing and storage of Lycium L. in China. Methods Relevant literature about breeding, planting, harvest, processing and storage of Lycium L. in CNKI from January 2004 to December 2013 was retrieved by computers. CiteSpaceⅡ was introduced to carry out key word analysis, high-frequency key word obtaining, co-occurrence network of high-frequency key words, and dendrogram of high-frequency words. Results Totally 759 articles were included. Key words about breeding were “genetic diversity”, “male sterile”, “its sequence”, “callus issue”, and“anther culture”. Key words about planting were“output”,“quality”,“hard twig cuttage”,“irrigation amount”. Key words about harvesting and processing were“picking machine of Lycium L.”,“drying kiln of Lycium L.”,“hot air drying”, and “combined drying”. Key words about storage were “pesticide residue”, “heavy metal”, and“organophosphorus pesticide”. Co-occurrence network of high-frequency key words showed that the research hotspots were pesticide residue, test of heavy metal and the storage of fresh fruits. Dendrogram of high-frequency key words showed that the high-frequency key words were “package”, “refreshment”, and “lycium barbarum polysaccharide”. Conclusion The research hotspots of planting of Lycium L. are planting skills effecting the output and quality of Lycium L.; In the field of harvesting and processing of Lycium L., design and research of picking machine has replaced traditional manual picking. Modern hot air drying has already replaced traditional drying in the sun or drying skills; In the aspect of storage of Lycium L., the study on the refreshment of Lycium L. has attached attention.

Objective To analyze the correlation between the positive rate of autoantibody and hepatitis C virus load and the relationship between the positive incidence and the status of liver function in patients infected HCV.Methods 168 patients infected hepatitis C virus were included,to detect serum autoantibody,HCV loads and liver function file.And 129 healthy controls were collected to test the serum autoantibody.Using the Chi-square test to analyze the count data,and performing student test or Nonparametric test to study measurement data,compared the positive rate of autoantibody in patients with HCV and that in healthy controls.Analyzed the correlation among the positive incidence of autoantibody,HCV load and the status of liver function in patients infected HCV,and studied the relationship of the positive rate of autoantibody with age and also with gender of the patients.Results The positive rate of autoantibody in patients with HCV was 35.12%(59/168),in which ANA accounted for 33.93%,SMA took up 2.98%,AMA-M2 made up 1.80% and anti-LKM1 1.20%.No patient existed LC-1 or SLA/LP in his/her serum.The total positive rate of autoantibody and ANA both were higher in pa-tients than in healthy controls (χ2=23.179,P=0.000;χ2=21.360,P=0.000).There existed no significant difference in the levels of HCV load,total bilirubin (TBil),ALT and AST between the patients whose autoantibody examinations were positive and those who were negative in autoantibody test (χ2=0.113,P=0.945;Z=-1.087,P=0.277;Z=-1.356,P=0.175;Z=-0.153,P=0.878).The positive rate of autoantibody not correlated with the gender (χ2=2.897,P=0.089), but related to the age (t=3.274,P=0.001)of the patients.There existed significant difference in the levels of ALT,AST and the age between the patients HCV RNA negative and those HCV RNA positive (Z=-6.430,P=0.000;Z=-6.123, P=0.000;t=-3.152,P=0.002),and the patients whose HCV RNA were negative younger than those who with HCV RNA positive (44.17 vs 55.27 years).Conclusion It is easy for autoimmunity to occur on persons infected HCV.The posi-tive rate of autoantibody is related to patients’age,but not to the HCV amount in patients.Besides,it cannot predict the sta-tus of the patients’liver injury that weather the autoimmunity appears.But HCV load correlated with patients'age and liver inj ury,which older group patients bring higher virus load and had more serious liver damage.

Objective To evaluate the effect of pronator teres tendon reconstructing the forearm interosseous membrane(IOM)central band on restoring the longitudinal stability of the forearm after Essex-Lopresti injury.Methods A total of ten fresh-frozen adult cadaveric forearms were loaded axially through the humeral and the distal radius.Each forearm was tested as following six steps:radial head excision,radial head plus excision of triangular fibrocartilage complex(TFCC),radial head plus TFCC plus excision of IOM central band,reconstructing central band with pronator teres tendon,metallic radial head prosthesis replacement,central band reconstruction plus radial head prosthesis replacement.The difference of the load exerted to displace the radius to the proximal for 5 mm was compared at different steps by using single-factor analysis of variance.Then,the effect of each step on restoring the forearm longitudinal stability of the forearmwas evaluated.Results There was statistical difference upon load for the radial displacement to the proximal for 5 mm in all six steps,ie,(74.51±15.17)N,(49.23±6.14)N,(17.83±4.73)N,(27.40±3.56)N,(140.25±25.39)Nand(164.21±28.26)N,respectively(P＜0.01).With migration of the radius to proximal for 5 mm,the load for pronator teres reconstruction was 55.66% of radial head plus TFCC,and the load for pronator teres reconstruction plus radial head prosthesis replacement was 559.31% of IOM reconstruction step and 333.56% of radial head excision.Conclusions Reconstruction of the central band with pronator teres tendon is insufficient to restore the longitudinal stability of the forearm after Essex-Lopresti injury.Reconstruction of the central band in combination with metallic radial head prosthesis replacement are beneficial to restoring the longitudinal stability of the forearm.

Objective To study the application of the combined detection of Golgi glycoprotein 73(GP-73),phosphatidylinositol proteoglycan 3(GPC3 )and percentage of AFP heteroplasmon(AFP-L3%)in the diagnosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC).Methods The concentrations of GP-73,GPC3 and AFP-L3 were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in 154 patients with PHC(PHC group),78 patients with cirrhosis(cirrhosis group)and 56 healthy subjects(control group).Then the detection results were statistically analyzed.Results The levels of GP-73,GPC3 and AFP-L3% in the PHC group were signifi-cantly higher than those in the liver cirrhosis group and the control group(P <0.05).The positive rates of GP-73,GPC3 and AFP-L3% in the PHC group were 66.2%,72.1% and 53.2% respectively.The positive rate in the combined detection of these three in-dices could reach 97.9%,which was higher than the sensitivity and accuracy in any single index detection and the combination de-tection.In the PHC group,the comparison between different levels of GP-73 and AFP-L3% with the AFP levels showed the statis-tically significant difference(P <0.05 ).Conclusion The combination detection of GP-73,GPC3 and AFP-L3% can improve the sensitivity and accuracy for diagnosing PHC and has reference significance in the differential diagnosis of early PHC.
