1.Chemical constituents in fruit of Momordica charantia

Objective To study the chemical constituents in the mature fruit of Momordica Charantia. Methods M. charantia was extracted by alcohol and then extracted by chloroform; isolation and purification were carried out by silica gel. Compounds were identified and elucidated by spectral and chemical methods. Results Five compounds were obtained and identified as aglycone of momordicoside F_1 (Ⅰ), 5, 25-stigmastadien-3-ol (Ⅱ), aglycone of momordicoside Ⅰ (Ⅲ), charantin (Ⅳ), and ?-sitosterol (Ⅴ). Conclusion For the first time, compound Ⅰ is found as the novel natural product and compound Ⅱ is found in the fruit of M. charantia in China.
2.Application of capsaicin for preventing unstable bladder after suprapubic prostatectomy

Objective To evaluate the application of capsaicin to improve bladder stability after suprapubic prostatectomy for BPH. Methods 40 patients with BPH underwent suprapubic prostatectomy under epidural anesthesia were randomly divided into A?B?C and D groups (n=10 in each group).Capsaicin of 1 mmol/L was instilled into the bladder preoperatively for 30 minutes in group B and group D had 10 ml of 1 mmol/L capsaicin given epidurally.Group A and Group C received saline only. Results The bladder instability was lessened.The time of bladder perfusion clearance,indwelling catheter delivery,duration of cystospasm and number of postoperative cystospasm cases in group B and D reduced significantly as compared with group A and C.The Pdet and volume were improved significantly,the Qmax and residual urine were also improved. Conclusions The intravesical and epidural capsaicin delivery helps to prevent detrusor instability and reduces the pain caused by postoperative cystospasm.It also improves the bladder function deteriorated by BPH.

4.A kind of bacteria circular changed the life circle bacilli to cocci identified from the skin inflammation

Objective To investigate a kind of inflammatory pathogen of infectious skin lesion and its position of the bacteria classification. Methods Based on the phenotypic properties of morphology,physiology and biochemical et al.The identification of bacteria was made almost thoroughly and systemically.Results A unique kind of gram-positive bacteria were separated from the lesion of the disease.Which featured by a bacilli to cocci circulation,obligate acrobes,inactive of biochemical reaction and resistance to conventional antibiotics.Conclusion The bacteria are classified into a rare kind of opportunistic pathogen.Few references both at home and abroad has seen so far according to its phenotypic properties,the bacteria is Brevibacterium epidermids which had never been reported at domestic.
5.Early diagnosis and treatment of multi-primary esophageal cancer and double primary esophageal and cardiac cancer

Objective: To study early diagnosis and treatment of multi-primary esophageal cancer and esophageal and cardiac double primary cancer. Methods: The data of 71 cases patients of multi-primary esophageal, double primary esophageal and cardiac cancer were collected. The diagnosis was made by dye staining through gastroscopy and X-ray. Pathological examination after operation was analyzed. Results: 14 patients were diagnosed by X-ray(14/71), 69 by endoscopy (69/71), 54 early foci and 6 early stage patients were found. All of them were operated. The resection rate is 100% with no operative death. 3-year survival rate was 40 5%. Conclusion: Routine X-ray examination of esophagus or stomach, and esophageal dye-staining and/or biopsy through endoscopy are important measures for early diagnosis of multi-primary cancer or esophageal and double primary cardiac cancer prompt surgery is advised.
6.Discussion About the Treatment Method and the Time for Congenital Dacryocystitis

Objective To evaluate the treatment method and time for congenital dacryocystitis.Methods The data about the treat ment massage of Congenital dacryocystitis was analyzed.Results 117 eyes of congenital dacryocystitis in 76 patients were given therapy,of which 5 eyes(5%)were cured by dacryocystitis massage,13 eyes(11%)were cured by dacryosolen lavage,99 eyes were cured by dacryorhinocystotomy,with the cure rate of 85%.Conclusion Dacryorhinocystotomy was an effective and important method to treat congenital dacryocystitis.The age from 2 months to 6 months old are available for treatment of Congenital dacryocystitis.
7.Screening of the specific biomarkers from serum of the patient suffered from ovarian cancer by SELDI TOF mass spectrometry

Objective To approach the feasibility of identifying the specific biomarker of ovarian cancer by SELDI TOF mass spectrometry. Methods The relative contents of serum protein of both 24 the patients with ovarian cancer and 56 cases of healthy people were tested by IMAC3 chip and proteinchip reader (CipherGen Inc., VS). Results On the M/Z values ranged from 4000Da to 10000Da, there were six kinds of protein contents in the serum of the were obviously different between the two groups. Among them the serum protein of M/Z value 4472Da may be regarded as a specific biomarker of ovarian cancer. In the learning mode, all the 24 patients and 56 control people were diagnosed and distinguished out correctly, while in the test mode, 23 patients were correctly diagnosed and 56 control people were distinguished out, the total accuracy was 98 75%(79/80), and the sensitivity and specificity were 95 8%(23/24) and 100%(56/56), respectively. Conclusion Ovarian cancer can be quickly and correctly diagnosed by this method with high sensitivity and specificity. That will be widely used in clinical application
8.Serum proteomics studies on the acute myocardial infarction patients

Objective To approach the significance of serum protein fingerprinting on the identification of different courses of acute myocardial infarction. Methods For 153 patients of acute myocardial infarction, including 45 cases of just admitted patients, 12 cases of 3h admitted patients, 22 cases of 6h admitted patients, 24 cases of 9h admitted patients, 24 cases of 12h admitted patients, 16 cases of 24h admitted patients and 10 cases of 48h admitted patients. The relative contents of serum proteins were detected by IMAC3 chip and proteinchip reader (CipherGen Inc., VS). Results On the M/Z values ranged from 4KDa to 12KDa, ten protein contents were obviously different between the different courses of acute myocardial infarction. All the patients in different courses were diagnosed correctly, the accuracy was 100%(153/153). Both sensitivity and specificity were also 100% in learning mode. Conclusion Different courses of acute myocardial infarction patients can be quickly and correctly diagnosed by this method with high sensitivity and specificity. That will be widely used in clinical application
9.Comparative proteomics studies in gastric cancer from serum by SELDI TOF mass spectrometry

Objective To search for the biomarker used to determine gastric cancer by the application of protein mass spectrometry analysis. Methods The relative contents of serum proteins were detected of 38 patients with gastric cancer and 82 healthy people by IMAC3 (CipherGen Inc.) chip and proteinchip. Results At the M/Z values range from 1 723Da to 14 048Da, 18 kind of protein contents are obviously different between the two groups. In the learning mode, all the 120 testers were correctly distinguished, both the sensitivity and specificity reached to 100%. While in the test mode, 31 patients and 81 control people were correctly distinguished, the accuracy were 81 6%(31/38) and 98 8%(81/82), respectively. Conclusion Gastric cancer can be quickly and exactly diagnosed by this method with high sensitivity and specificity. That will be widely used in clinical application
10.Study on Extracting with Supercritical CO_2 Fluid from Polyrhachis vicina Roger and Analysis on the Chemical Constituents by GC-MS

Objective To study the optimum parameters of the supercritical CO2 fluid extraction of Polyrhachis vicina Roger and chemical constituents of ant oil. Methods The experiments were designed with the uniform design. Three factors are extraction pressure, temperature and time. GC-MS was applied for analyzising. Results The optimum condition was obtained:the extraction pressure is 36 MPa, the temperature of extraction is 40 ℃ and extraction time is 50min. 45 components were identified from 60 chromatographic peaks. The main chemical constituents were (Z)-9-octadecenoicacid (48.278%), hexadecanoicacid (17.574%), (Z)-9-hexadecenoi (4.912%), cholesterol (2.957%). There are some linear paraffin in ant oil. Conclusion This method can extract the ant oil from Polyrhachis vicina Roger quickly and efficiently. This experiment provide foundation for exploitation and utilization of ant resource.
