AIM:To investigate the effects of tanshinone IIA ( Tan) on cardiac action potential in rats with a-cute cerebral ischemia (ACI).METHODS:ACI was established in rats accordingly .Animals were divided into 3 groups:sham group, ACI group, and ACI with Tan treatment group .The defect of neural function in each group was graded , elec-trocardiogram was measured , monophasic action potential was recorded , and the levels of cardiac troponin I ( cTnI ) and creatine kinase-MB ( CK-MB) were examined by commercially available kits .RESULTS:Compared with ACI group , Tan significantly decreased the scores of the defect of neural function , reduced the incidence and duration of the abnormalities in electrocardiogram , prolonged the effective refractory period , action potential duration at 50%repolarization and action po-tential duration at 90%repolarization, and inhibited the elevation of cTnI and CK-MB levels.CONCLUSION:Tan main-tains a stable heart rhythm in ACI rats , which may be related to its protective effect on ischemic myocardium .
3.Comparative study of the injury to hepatocarcinoma and normal liver tissues following ischemia and reperfusion
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(07):-
ObjectiveTo compare the injury to hepatocarcinoma and normal liver tissues following ischemia and reperfusion. MethodsThe hepatocarcinoma(HC) models were established by injectin of VX2 tumor (tissue) suspension fluid into the left-middle lobe of liver of rabbits. After the models were established, the models left hepatic vessels were occluded for 60 minus, then followed by various intervals of reperfusion, and the levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) were measured, and apoptotic (changes) in the hepatocarcinoma and normal hepatic tissues were observed by means of HE staining and TUNEL method. ResultsThe concentration of SOD decreased significantly in hepatocarcinoma tissue and reached the lowest point at 1h after ischemia and reperfusion (64.594.97NU/mgprot), then gradually rebounded, but, at 7d after reperfusion, it still retained at a lower level(121.126.88NU/mgprot) than that before reperfusion. In contrast with normal liver tissues, the concentration of MDA decreased in the hepatocarcinoma tissues following ischemia and reperfusion, the changs of MDA were similar to SOD. The apoptotic cells in hepatocarcinoma tissues increased to the highest point at 1 day following reperfusion, but 7d after reperfusion, the number of positive cells were more than before reperfusion, and the apoptotic rate was higher in (hepatocarcinoma) tissues compared with the normal liver tissues. ConclusionsIn comparison with normal liver tissue, hepatocarcinoma tissue is more suscepible to the injury of ischemia and reperfusion.

5.Build up a Harmonious Physician-Patient Relationship and Reduce the Rate of Caesarean Section
Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(02):-
The co-existence of physician-patient disharmony and the high rate of cesarean section suggest that there must be some internal relationship between the two medical phenomena. The physician-patient disharmony not only increases the rate of non-indicative cesarean section, but also leads to artificial expansion of the cesarean section indicators.Building up a harmonious physician-patient relationship is an important safeguard to reduce the rate of cesarean section and protect the benefits of mothers and infants.
6.Determination of Main Components in Idrocilamide Ointment by HPLC

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(03):-
Changes of free amino acids in plasma and brain of rats with fulminanthepatic failure were measured with a Beckman 6300 amino acid analyzer. Results indicat-ed that as hepatic encephalopathy developed, concentrations of almost all amino acids inplasma and brain were increased. The levels of most amino acids in brain showed no cor-relation with their changes in the plasma. However, changes of concentrations of theseamino acids in brain that were related to the development of hepatic encephalopathy wereclosely correlated with their concentrations in plasma. Not any correlations between chan-ges of any amino acids in plasma and brain were found in normal control rats.Theseresults suggested that amino acid transport mechanisms appeared to be specific in the blo-cd-brain barrier during fulminant hepatic failure,a phenomenon that could contribute tothe neural disturbance of hepatic encephalopathy.
8.The expression of Vav1 and its correlation with prognosis in patients with gastric cancer
Tianjin Medical Journal 2016;44(9):1120-1123
Objective To investigate the expression of Vav1 in gastric cancer(GC), and analyze its potential relevance to clinicopathological characteristics and prognostic significance in GC patients. Methods The mRNA expression level of Vav1 was detected by real-time quantitative PCR in GC cell lines (HGC-27,SGC7901 and MGC803) and normal gastric mucosa cell line (GES-1). In addition, the protein expression of Vav1 was analyzed by immunohistochemistry in formalin-fixed samples from 105 GC patients. The associations between clinical pathological features and Vav1 protein expression were evaluated in GC patients. Kaplan-Meier method and Cox regression analysis were used to analyze the related factors influencing the prognosis of GC. Results The mRNA expression levels of Vav1 were significantly higher in GC cell lines (HGC-27, SGC7901, MGC803) than those in normal gastric mucosa cell line (GES-1, P<0.05). The positive expression of Vav1 in GC tissues was correlated with diameter of tumor and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). The univariate analysis showed that size of tumor, degree of differentiation, serosal invasion, lymph node metastasis and Vav1 expression were significantly related with prognosis of GC (P<0.05). Results of Cox regression showed that tumor invasion depth (HR=2.764, 95%CI 1.316-5.817, P=0.007), lymph node metastasis (HR=1.298, 95%CI 1.098-1.534, P=0.002) and Vav1 expression (HR=2.577, 95%CI 1.066-3.946, P=0.006) were the risk factors affecting prognosis of patients with gastric cancer. Conclusion Vav1 performs important role in the aggressiveness of GC, and Vav1 may serve as a novel prognostic factor in GC.
