After a description of the concept and meaning of big data, the application of big data in biomedical field was investigated, the changes in medical library functions were analyzed, the challenges to medical libraries were pointed in terms of their data, hardware infrastructures, software technologies, talents and service modes, and how to respond to the big data in medical libraries was proposed from the aspects of strengthening the external collabo-ration, co-developing cloud computing center, intensifying the construction of related organizations and talents, and changing the service modes.

A core metadata system of maintenance support information in IETM of military medical equipments was constructed according to the characteristics of maintenance support information in IETM of military medical equipments,DC metadata and S1000D specifications,which can retrieve,manage and use the maintenance support information in IETM of military medical equipments and share the data in heterogeneous systems,thus laying a foundation for establishing the IETM of military medical equipments.

An integrated retrieval platform for online biomedical literature citations with the functions of one-stop retrieval, automatic removal of duplications, automatic grouping, and rapid output of standard citation report, was constructed on the basis of CMCI, with the C/S structure as its model and the NET framework as its development platform, in order to solve the problems of different citation databases in our library, such as inconsistent retrieval methods, inconsistent displaying methods of retrieval outcomes, and non-standard citation description, which can thus improve the efficiency of searching and citing biomedical literature.

Patch tests were performed in 215 cases with contact dermatitis and 59 cases with noncontact dermatitis who visited the clinic of Xili Hospital, Shenzhen.Results showed that top four allergen for them were 0.1% Merthiolate, 5% nickel sulfate, 7% aromatic compounds and 1% formaldehyde in sequence.There was significant difference in occurrence of dermatitis at the hands, trunk, extremities,face, and periumbilicus caused by these four kinds of allergen (P ＜0.01 ), with 0.1% Merthiolate mainly causing dermatitis at the face, hands, trunk and extremities, 5% nickel sulfate causing dermatitis at the periumbilicus, trunk and extremities, 7% aromatic compounds causing dermatitis at the hands, trunk,extremities and face, whereas 1% formaldehyde mainly causing facial dermatitis.Concentration of pentyl acetate and rosin spirit used for patch tests should be 20 % and 25 %, respectively.

In order to have a better understanding of the role of medical library in medical information service during the implementation of Healthy China strategy,the need of health information service of the public and medical scientific researchers in implementation of Healthy China strategy were analyzed by outlining the development history and major targets of Healthy China strategy,and how to meet the requirements of the development of Healthy China for medical library was studies,namely by improving its resources development,service patterns and staff construction according to the present situation of big data development,the challenges medical library is faced in users needs,resources,platform,space,professionals and funds,and the opportunities brought about by the expanding requirements,improving information academic level,advancing new technologies,favorable policies and environments with relevant suggestions put forward.

The data production and management processes were described and the factors influencing the data pro-cessing quality were analyzed with CMCC/CMCI as an example, and measures were put forward for improving the data production and management-the key to database development.

Objective To investigate indications,pacing modes,pacing parameters and postoperative complications of pacemaker implantation for patients aged 80 years or over.Methods Patients were recruited on a continuous basis and were assigned into two groups,with 112 patients in the very elderly (80-90 years old) group and 484 patients in the elderly (60-79 years old) group,which served as the control.Follow-up observations with the two groups were conducted concerning indications,mode selection,pacing parameters and postoperative complications.Results Compared with the control group,the very elderly group showed:1) a higher rate of coronary heart disease (58cases vs.163 cases or 51.8％ vs.33.7％ ; x2 =12.78,P＜0.01) ; 2) more single-chamber pacemaker implantations (63 cases vs.217 cases or 56.3％ vs.44.8％; x2=4.76,P＜0.05) and fewer dual-or multi-chamber pacemaker implantations (49 cases vs.267 cases or 43.8％ vs.55.2％ ; x2 =4.76,P＜0.05) ; 3) a higher rate of double bundles branch block (19 cases vs.31 cases or 17.0％ vs.6.4％ ; x2=13.20,P＜0.01); 4) a higher rate of postoperative acute cerebral infarction (x2 =8.34,P＜0.01) ; and 5) increased ventricular [(0.78±0.24)V vs.(0.55±0.16)V,P＜0.05]and atrial [(1.07±0.22)V vs.(0.84±0.28)V,P＜0.05]pacing thresholds.Conclusions Special considerations should be made when pacemaker implantation is planned for patients aged 80 or over.Pacemaker selection decisions ought to be based on a comprehensive evaluation of relevant clinical situations so that clinical benefits can be maximized.

Volume concentration determination for atmospheric krypton and xenon is very important for krypton-85 and radioactive xenon isotopes monitoring. An injection setup integrated adjustable quantity sample injection and quantitative dilution function was designed. The effects of EI source parameters on the sensitivity of MS detector were studied. The optimized values were as following: ionization energy of 70 eV, emission current of 40 mA, cathode voltage of 27 mV, focus voltage of 85 mV and lens compensation of 20 V, respectively. A GC-MS method for the determination of krypton and xenon in atmosphere without of sample pretreatment was developed. The minimal detected concentrations for krypton and xenon were 3. 3×10-8(V/V) and 2. 6×10-9(V/V). Moreover, the krypton and xenon concentrations in the ground level air around our laboratory were measured with the results of 1 . 1 × 10-6 ( V/V ) and 9 . 3 × 10-8 ( V/V ) . The related combined standard uncertainties for krypton and xenon results were 2. 38% and 3. 15%, respectively.

After a description of the performance assessment systems in domestic and foreign libraries, the personal performance assessment system was designed according to the annual target and key performance indicators worked out for the Database R&D Section in Medical Library of Chinese PLA and its problems existed at present.Imple-mentation of the system showed that it could arouse the enthusiasm of staff, increase the number of products, im-prove the quality of products , and guarantee the realization of annual target in our section .

The paper analyzes the current status and existing problems of citation retrieval work, puts forward the design principle, overall structure and function of cited references integration tools, demonstrates the key technologies of system realization.An integrated retrieval platform for online literature citations is constructed for the following functions:one-stop retrieval of various citation databases, automatic removal of duplications, so as to reduce the burden of staffs and improve efficiency effectively.
