OBJECTIVE:To investigate the drug quality in rural area during the period of the national rural "two networks" construction.METHODS:A questionnaire investigation on the rate of qualified during 5 years was conducted in which the data of 26 provinces(or cities)which were valid were given a curve fitting analysis.RESULTS:The rate of qualified of chemical drug showed an increasing tendency year by year,so did the Chinese traditional medicine.And the latter's development trend was better than the former.CONCLUSIONS:The eligible proportion of drugs showed an uptrend year by year,and the "two networks" construction in rural areas remarkably enhanced the drug quality in rural area.

To prepare oroxylum indicum ( OLI) buccal tablets. Methods:The extract of oroxylum indicum as the main component, the buccal tablets were prepared using a wet granulation compression method. According to the results of single factor ex-periments, an orthogonal design was used to select the optimal formula based on the appearance, taste, disintegration time and friabili-ty. The average weight variation and average disintegration time were tested to evaluate the quality of three batches of the buccal tablets with the optimized formula. Results:The optimal formula was composed of 50%mannitol, 5%sucrose-stevioside (100∶1), 5% pep-permint oil and 35%PVP-K30-85% ethanol (6∶10). For the three batches of the buccal tablets with the optimized formula, the aver-age weight variation was (1. 83 ± 0. 29) % and the average disintegration time was(14. 7 ± 0. 6) min, which met the requirements of quality control on buccal tablets in Chinese pharmacopoeia. Conclusion:The optimal formula and process of OLI buccal tablets show fine reproducibility and stability.

Objective To study the effects of Xiaofengzhiyang Particles and Levocetirizine on elderly urticaria and effects on the serum levels of IL-2 and IgE.Methods 96 elderly patients were randomly divided into two groups.The patients in study group were prescribed with Xiaofengzhiyang Particles and Levocetirizine.The patients in control group were prescribed with Levocetirizine,two weeks for a course.The curative effect and serum levels of IL-2 and IgE were observed after treatment.Results The complete cure rate of the study group was 69.6％,the control group was 52.5％.There was significant difference between the two groups(P＜0.05).The serum levels of IL-2 and IgE were significantly decreased in study group(all P＜0.01).Conclusion Xiaofengzhiyang Particles combined with Levocetirizine is effective in treating elderly urticaria,and the two drugs together could reduce the serum levels of IL-2 and IgE.

Objective To investigate the effectiveness of ultrasound in evaluating the degree of xerostomia in the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma ( NPC) receiving intensity?modulated radiotherapy (IMRT). Methods A total of 30 NPC patients who were admitted to our hospital from May 2013 to December 2014 were enrolled in this study. The degree of xerostomia in these NPC patients was scored according to the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group scoring criteria. Color Doppler ultrasound was used to measure the peak systolic blood flow velocity of the parotid gland and submandibular gland and the changes in vascular diameter of the parotid gland in the NPC patients before, during, and after IMRT. The correlation between each parameter and the degree of xerostomia was determined by analysis of variance. Results In the 28 NPC patients included in the statistical analysis, the degree of xerostomia during IMRT was significantly higher than that before IMRT ( P=0024 ) , and the degree of xerostomia at 3 months after IMRT was significantly lower than that during IMRT ( P=0035) . The peak systolic blood flow velocity of the parotid gland and submandibular gland and the proportion of patients with decreases in vascular diameter of the parotid gland during IMRT were significantly higher than those before IMRT ( P=0001 and 0003;P=0001);the above parameters at 3 months after IMRT were significantly lower than those during IMRT ( P=0008 and 0012;P=0001) . During IMRT and after IMRT, the degree of xerostomia was significantly correlated with the peak systolic blood flow velocity of the parotid gland ( r=0563, P=0026;r=0409, P=0031) . Conclusions Ultrasound can be used as a noninvasive detection for the hemodynamic changes in the parotid gland, and it has a certain clinical reference value for evaluating the degree of xerostomia in NPC patients during and after IMRT.

OBJECTIVE:To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of amiodarone and propafenone in the treatment of chron-ic atrial fibrillation cardioversion. METHODS:60 patients with chronic atrial fibrillation cardioversion were randomly divided into propafenone group and amiodarone group. All patients were given conventional treatment,including treating primary disease,con-trolling symptoms,orally giving aspirin,intravenous infusion of GIK,monitoring heart rate,QT interval,P-R interval,QRS time,serum potassium and serum magnesium,etc. On this basis,propafenone group was orally given propafenone 450 mg for con-tinuous 3 months,3 times a day,and then the dose was decreased to 300 mg to maintain the sinus rhythm;amiodarone group was orally given amiodarone 200 mg for continuous 7 d a month,twice a day,and then the dose was decreased to 200 mg or 100 mg to maintain the sinus rhythm. The clinic data in 2 groups was observed,including clinical efficacy,simple drug cardioversion,elec-trical cardioversion,electrical cardioversion power,hospitalization time and incidence of adverse reactions,and the recurrence rate in 48 months was followed up. RESULTS:There were no significant differences in the clinical efficacy,simple drug cardiover-sion,electrical cardioversion,electrical cardioversion power,hospitalization time,incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Based on the conventinal treatment,amiodarone and propafenone have similar clinical efficacy and safety in the treatment of chronic atrial fibrillation cardioversion,and both of them can be used as the conven-tional drugs for treating chronic atrial fibrillation cardioversion.
