Objective:To explore the personality types a nd the features of clinical subtypes of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Methods:82 cases of OCD were tested using Chinese MMPI that w as revised by MMPI normative cooperative group. We used MMPI-B auto-analysis sys tem made by Ji Shumao et al to calculate the basis scores and T scores of 73 sca les. Results:Basis scores (+K)of scales F,Hs,D,Hy,P d,Pa,Pt,Sc,(males and females)and Si,Mf(males) and K (females) on OCD group were higher that the scores of the normal group. The two-point code of T scores in O CD was 72/27.The factor analysis in 13 scales showed that there were fo ur personality factors in OCD: neuroticism factor (Hs,Hy,D,Pt), psychotic factor (F,Pd,Sc),suspicious factor( F,Ma,Pa), Social introvers ion factor (L,Si,Mf).82 cases of OCD were divided into three groups by K-means o f quick cluster analysis,T scores of 73 MMPI scale s were different among three groups (P<0.000).Conclusio n:The ps ychological features a nd comorbidity and responses to psychotherapy of three groups OCD are different.

Objective:To establish a double antibody sandwich ELISA assay for detection of human IL-37 in serum. Methods: Mouse anti-human IL-37 monoclonal antibody was used as capturing antibody, rabbit anti-human IL-37 polyclonal antibodies served as detection antibody,HRP labeled goat anti-rabbit IgG employed as second antibody and recombinant human IL-37 protein used as reference standard for the establishment of a doubleantibody sandwich ELISA.The working conditions were optimized, such as sensitivity, linear range, reproducibility and evaluated the serum IL-37 in patients with Dengue fever. Results: The sensitivity of the established ELISA method was 1.465 μg/L approximately.Likewise, the linearity range of this method was about (1.465-46.875) μg/L.Further,the co efficient of variation (CV) of inter-batch and intra-batch in this study were 6.6% and 11.7%,respectively.Notably,this method could be used in the detection of IL-37 in serum of the patients with Dengue fever, showing that the level of IL-37 in Dengue fever patients was much higher than that in healthy controls. Conclusion: The double antibody sandwich ELISA assay for the detection of human IL-37 was successfully established, which can be apply to detect of human IL-37 in clinical samples.

OBJECTIVETo explore genetic mutation and clinical treatment for a patient with globozoospermia.
METHODSHistomorphology of the sperms was studied by Wright-Giemsa staining and transmission electron microscopy. Potential mutation of the DPY19L2 gene was detected by PCR amplification and Sanger sequencing.
RESULTSWright-Giemsa staining showed that all spermatozoa from the patient were round-headed and lacked the acrosome, with the nuclei of sperm head stained in dark and full. Transmission electron microscopy revealed large round sperm heads, with an even layer of unit membrane surrounding the nuclei and dispersed cytoplasmic vacuoles but no acrosomal structure. The patient has harbored a homozygous deletion of the DPY19L2 gene. With intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatment, fertilization rate of the oocytes has reached 28.6%, which resulted in a successful pregnancy. A healthy male was born.
CONCLUSIONThe homozygous deletion of DPY19L2 probably underlies the globozoospermia in this case, for which ICSI has provided an effective treatment. However, there is still a risk of low oocyte fertilization rate or fertilization failure. Further studies are required.
