1.Efficacy of meibomian gland compression and meibomian gland dredge treatment with dry eye young patients of meibomian gland dysfunction

Objective To understand the efficacy of meibomian gland compression by themselves and outpatient meibomian gland dredge treatment with dry eye young patients of meibomian gland dysfunction.Methods Selected 48 young patients with dry eye of meibomian gland dysfunction,patients were divided into two groups according to the wishes,28 patients were given method guidance of meibomian gland compression by themselves (compression group),every 10 minutes,three times a day,4 weeks after the referral.Other 20 cases meibomian gland dredge by a doctor at the eye clinic performed under anesthesia (dredge group),2 weeks,4 weeks after the referral and then dredge,3 times.All patients were given to health education,all patients before treatment and after treatment for 4 weeks underwent Schirmer Ⅰ test (S Ⅰ t),tear film breakup time (BUT),corneal fluorescein staining (CFL) examination and compared.Results The level of BUT,S Ⅰ t,CFL before treatment in two groups had no significant difference (P > 0.05).After treatment for 4 weeks,eye symptom had improved in two groups.The level of BUT,CFL before and after treatment for 4 weeks in two groups had significant difference (P < 0.05).But the level of S Ⅰ t,BUT,CFL after treatment for 4 weeks between two groups had no significant difference (P > 0.05).Conclusion Dry eye young patients of meibomian gland dysfunction if they can correctly perform meibomian gland compression by themselves can also be reached effectively alleviate dry eye and ocular discomfort symptom improvement purposes.
2.Clinical significance of detection of serum procalcitonin and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in AECOPD

Objective To evaluate the clinical significance of detection of serum procalcitonin(PCT),high sensitivity-C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and leukocyte in acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)patients.Methods 45 patients with AECOPD and 50 patients(AECOPD group)with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)in slationary phase (COPD group)were selected,and their serum levels of PCT,hs-CRP and leukocyte were tested.Results Before treatment,the con-centrations of PCT and hs-CRP were (3.32±1.81)ng/mL and (22.36±5.03)mg/L in AECOPD group respectively.They were significantly higher than those in COPD group with statistical differences(P<0.01).The positive predictive value of PCT and hs-CRP was 68.9% and 60.0% in AECOPD group respectively,which were significantly higher than those in COPD group(P<0.01).After antibiotic treatment,the leukocyte,PCT,and hs-CRP levels in AECOPD group were significantly lower than those be-fore treatment(P< 0.01).Conclusion In AECOPD patients,PCT and hs-CRP are good diagnostic indexes.
4.Effects of atmospheric fine particulate matter on respiratory diseases and symptoms of community residents in Chun'an County

Objective:
To evaluate the impact of fine particulate matter ( PM2.5 ) on respiratory diseases and symptoms of community residents in Chun’an County, so as to provide the basis for air pollution treatment strategies.
Methods:
Using the cluster random sampling method, the permanent residents in Qiandaohu Town of Chun’an County were investigated from 2017 to 2018. The demographic information, respiratory diseases and symptoms were collected by using Surveillance Plan for the Impact of Air Pollution ( Haze ) on health ( 2016 Edition ). The air pollutants and meteorological data were collected through Qiandaohu station of Hangzhou Ecology and Environment Monitoring Center and Hangzhou Meteorological Information Center. The effects of PM2.5 on respiratory diseases and symptoms of residents were analyzed with generalized estimating equation.
Results:
Totally 1 181 people aged 6 months to 95 years were recruited, including 557 ( 47.16% ) males and 624 ( 52.84% ) females. Acute nasopharyngitis (common cold) and tracheitis/tonsillitis occurred most frequently, with 203 cases, accounting for 3.44%. The median of daily average concentration of PM2.5 was 24 μg/m3, with the standard exceeding rate of 2.80%. The results showed that PM2.5 increased the risk of acute nasopharyngitis ( common cold ), tracheitis/tonsillitis, cough, expectoration, runny nose, sore throat and nasal congestion ( lag 3 days, OR: 1.015-1.022, 95%CI: 1.001-1.037 ); the effect of PM2.5+PM10 ( OR: 1.020-1.040, 95%CI: 1.006-1.070 ) and PM2.5+O3 ( OR: 1.017-1.024, 95%CI: 1.005-1.035 ) was greater than that of PM2.5 alone on respiratory diseases and symptoms.
Conclusion
Atmospheric PM2.5 exposure in Chun’an County increases the risk of respiratory diseases and symptoms among community residents.
6.238U Radioactivity distribution in soils in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

Objective To survey the 238U radioactivity level in the surface soil in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Border (BTHB) region,and to prepare a high resolution distribution map of 238U activity concentrations.Methods The soil samples were collected in a grid (10 km × 10 km).The activity concentrations of 238U in soil samples were measured by using HPGe γ spectrometry.The distribution of the activity concentrations of 238U in soil samples was mapped by the aid of MAPGIS software.Results In total,416 samples were collected and measured.The activity concentrations of 238U were in the range of 0.1-106.0 Bq/kg,with an average of 34.7 Bq/kg.The 238U activity concentration distribution map showed that 238U activity concentration was in the range of 15-55 Bq/kg mostly on the surface soil in the BTHB region.Conclusions The map of 238U activity concentration shows the distribution of 238U activity concentration in the BTHB region.It is of importance to map the distribution of 238U activity concentration in the BTHB region,by converting a huge amount of data into the simple and intuitive graphics,and for evaluating the regional environmental radioactivity and studying the radioactive substance migration within the locality.
7.Anesthesia Management in the Laparoscopic Excision of Pheochromocytoma:Analysis of 37 Cases

Objective To study anesthesia management in the laparoscopic excision of pheochromocytoma. Methods Thirty-seven cases of the epidural associated general anesthesia cured with diazepam 10 mg and scopolamine 0.3 mg administered 30 min before operation , anesthesia was induced with fentanyl 2?g ?kg -1 ,propofol 2mg?kg -1 , vecuronium 0.12mg?kg -1 and maintained with isoflurane,propofol and fentanyl. Vasoactive drugs were used to maintain blood pressure. All cases were sent into surgery intensive care unit after operation, ropivacaine and morphine for analgesia. Results The anesthetic effects and analgesia were satisfactory; all patients were cured. Conclusion Approach of anesthesia management in the laparoscopic excision of pheochromocytoma is feasible.
8.Early diagnosis and treatment of renal calculi complicated with renal squamous carcinoma:A report of 2 cases

From 1983 to 2000, 2 patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis associated with renal calculi were treated in our department. The literature was reviewed to discuss the diagnosis and the treatment. Both of the 2 patients presented with typical renal colic, gross hematuria and renal abscess. In one patient, renal pelvic tumor was diagnosed by CT before operation and radical nephrectomy was carried out after squamous cell carcinoma was detected with frozen section during operation. No recurrence was developed during a follow-up of 18 months. Another patient received systemic chemotherapy and died from cancer collapse after 4 months. Squamous cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis is uncommon and associated with renal calculi. Typically, these are poorly differentiated tumors with poor prognosis. Early diagnosis is difficult and radical nephrectomy is the first-choice treatment.
9.The necessity and feasibility of implementing evidence-based dentistry education in China

The concept and methods of evidence-based medicine(EBM)has been evolved to impact almost all fields of health care and policy since it first appeared in 1992.but in the field of dentistry or stomatology,many problems remain to be solved in carrying out EBM.The necessity and feasibility of implementing evidence-based dentistry education in China were discussed in this paper for chnical evidence-based decision making and clinical research.The contenk teaching approach and accreditation tools for EBM in dental education were also proposed.
10.Effects of vasodilator stimulated phosphoprotein on intestinal barrier dysfunction after hemorrhagic shock in rats

Objective To observe the effects of vasedilator stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) of small intestine mucous membrane on the intestinal barrier dysfunction during hemorrhagic shock (HS) in rats. Methods Forty Wistar rats were divided into normal group, HS 1 hour, HS 2 hours and HS 4 hours groups, as well as HS 2 hours + cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) treatment group. The activity of sermn diamine oxidase (DAO), content of hematoplasma D-lactic acid of each group were determined, and their relationship with the expression of VASP was analyzed. Results The expression of VASP was increased, serum DAO activity and hematoplasma D-lactic acid content were decreased by cAMP in rats at 2 hours after HS. There were differences upon the levels of VASP expression, DAO activity and hematoplasma D-lactic acid content between HS 2 hours group and HS 2 hours + cAMP treatment group ( t = 18.62, 9.28, 2.83, P < 0.05 ). The serum DAO activity increased while VASP expression decreased significantly after HS, which showed an obvious negative correlation between the two indexes (r=-0.95, P<0.05). Conclusions The decrease of VASP contributes to the intestinal barrier dysfunction after HS in rats, while the intestinal barrier dysfunction can be alleviated by cAMP.
