1.Effect of metabolic syndrome on patients with impaired glucose regulation in regard to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2013;29(11):965-967
The effect of metabolic syndrome on patients with pre-diabetes in regard to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (CCVD) was investigated. The subjets with pre-diabetes were divided into metabolic syndrome (MS) group and non-MS.Follow-up after the baseline survey, the new-onset cardiovascular events of patients were collected. The incidence of CCVD in the MS group was 5.66%,being higher than 1.88% in non-MS group (P<0.05).After factors being corrected, compared with the non-MS group, the relative risk (RR) of CCVD in MS group was 2.616 (95% CI 1.328-5.153).Compared to only 1 component of MS patients, the risks of CCVD in MS component 2,≥3 patients were increased by 29% (HR =1.29) and 62% (HR =1.62).Metabolic syndrome may increase the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in pre-diabetes populations. The occurrence of CCVD and MS content showed a dose-dependent relationship.

This review was made to compare the multimedia teaching results with traditional teaching results in medical universities or colleges. Two kinds of opposite viewpoints appeared:the multimedia teaching results was better or worse than the latter.
3.Different Expression of CD_(21) on Peripheral Blood B Lymphocytes in Children in Different Age Periods
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(21):-
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of the expression of CD_(21) on peripheral blood B lymphocytes in different age periods. Methods All the cases was divided into newborn group, infant group and children group. The expression of CD_(21) on B lymphocytes were analyzed by the flow cytometry. Results 1.The number of CD_(21) on B lymphocytes of newborn group were obviously lo-(wer) than those in other two groups;and with growth of a child, the numer tended to grow up.2.Mean fluorescence intension(MFI),the expression of CD_(21) on B lymphocyte, also had the characteristic of increase with the age. Conclusions With the growing up of a child, the expression of CD_(21) on B lymphocyte has the tendency of up-regulation;which conforms to the feature of immune system development in childhood.Because of the higher expression of CD_(21) on B lymphocyte in certain age,it has the sensitivity to Epstein-Barr virus infection for children.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2014;(17):2339-2340,2342
Objective To provide reference for the clinical application of preoperative autologous blood donation(PABD).Meth-ods 34 patients met the conditions of PABD,and underwent PABD were enrolled in the study.Five laboratory indicators include Hemoglobin(Hb),RBC,WBC,PLT)and hematocrit(HCT),and prepared blood volume before surgery, intraoperative and postop-erative reinfusion volume were recorded before blood collection and after reinfusion. Results In the patients who only underwent PABD(A group),compared between before blood collection and after blood transfusion(intraoperative or postoperative 24 h),all the five Hematology Index were statistically different(P <0.05).The RBC,Hb,HCT,PLT were decreased(P <0.05),while WBC increased(P <0.05).In patients underwent both PABD and allogeneic blood transfusion blood(group B),the five laboratory indica-tors showed a similar pattern:RBC,Hb,HCT,PLT decreased (P <0.05),while WBC increased(P <0.05).In the comparison be-tween the two groups, the five indicators before blood collection and after reinfusion were not statistically different(P >0.05).Con-clusion The effective of PABD application in surgical patients undergoing elective operation is good, which won′t cause harm to the patient′s body(reflected in the hematology indicators). However,in some cases preoperative assessment of blood loss is not accurate enough, result in the amount of blood collected before operaton not meeting the needs, which might impact the effect PABD.

Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 2001;12(2):77-79
Objective: To assess the effect and safety of Qilong Capsule (QLC) in treating apoplexy involving the meridians (Qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome ). Methods: A randomized , do uble-blinded double-dummy controlled trial was adopted. One hundred and two pati ents were treated with QLC, 101 with Xiaoshuan oral liquid (XOL ) and 200 served as the open treatment group. Results: The total effective rate in QLC group was 89.22% and symptomatic relieved rate 44.12%,showing t hat QLC was more effective than XOL(P<0.01).Conc lusion: QLC is effective for apoplexy involving the meridians and has no side an d toxic effects.

Chinese Journal of Virology 2014;30(1):79-83
Along with the spread of human immunodeficiency virus 1 (HIV-1) infection in the world and the emergence of drug-resistant viral strains, it is urgent to seek the novel potent therapies. Chemokine receptor 5 (CCR5) is one of the main coreceptors involved in the entry of HIV-1 into target cells. Nowadays, a number of CCR5 antagonists have been developed and some of them have progressed to clinical trials or been approved. Research progress has also been made in the CCR5-targeted gene therapy. This review summarizes the recent research progress on the CCR5-targeted drug and gene therapy.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2001;0(05):-
Objective To evaluate the status of the morbidity of serum lipids in Beijing through the detection of serum lipids in health checking adults. Methods The serum total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and triglyceride (TG)were detected by chemistry test in 13 336 adults, and age-adjusted prevalence of dyslipidemia and its distribution in different sexes and age groups were statistically analyzed. Results The prevalence of total dyslipidemia is 59.9%,71.6 % in male and 47.2% in female. The prevalence of the four components of serum lipids raised with age in both sex(P

Objective To discuss the clinical value of the expression level of acute lower respiratory tract Boka virus (HBoV)in‐fectecd children whose detection serum specific antibody .Methods 904 cases of children with acute lower respiratory tract Boka vi‐rus infection hospitalized from March 2011 to July 2014 who were selected as study objects ,serum ,sputum ,bronchoalveolar lavage fluid HBoV DNA positive were as the gold standard for diagnosis of acute lower respiratory tract infection in HBoV ,the positive serum HBoV antibody of HBoV in children with acute lower respiratory tract infection was defined as the observation group ,serum HBoV antibody negative acute lower respiratory tract infection in children with HBoV was defined as the control group ,the correla‐tion between serum HBoV antibody and acute lower respiratory tract HBoV infection children whose clinical characteristics were analyzed .Results Serum HBoV antibody in the diagnosis of acute lower respiratory tract infection of HBoV whose sensitivity ,spe‐cificity ,positive predictive value ,and negative predictive value ,accuracy of diagnosis were separately 60 .32% 、90 .25% 、31 .67% 、96 .81% 、88 .16% .In the general data ,between the observation group and the control group in gender ,age ,hospitalization time , there were no significant differences(P>0 .05) .In the clinical manifestations ,nasal congestion and runny nose ,cough ,fever ,vomi‐ting and diarrhea ,shortness of breath ,breathing difficulties whose occur rates had no significant differences between the observation group and the control group(P>0 .05) ,the incidence of wheezing of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group ,the difference had statistical significance (P<0 .05) .The comparison of clinical diagnosis between the observation group and the control group had no significant difference(P>0 .05) .Conclusion Serum HBoV antibody is in favor of acute lower respiratory tract infection of HBoV in the diagnosis of exclusion ,and the serum HBoV antibody positive and acute lower respiratory tract infection of HBoV have a certain relationship in children with wheezing symptoms .
