1.Influence of cold ischemia on liver regeneration following partial liver transplantation in rats

Objective To evaluate the effect of cold ischemia on the expression of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-?) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) and hepatic regeneration in liver grafts.Methods Partial liver transplantation model in rats was developed. The rats were divided into 3 groups: control group receiving 50 % liver resection,experimental group 1 receiving partial liver transplantation 30 min after cold ischemia and experimental group 2 receiving partial liver transplantation 10 hr after cold ischemia. The expression of the proliferative cell nuclear antigen (PCNA),TNF-? and IL-10 in liver tissues obtained on the postoperative day 1,2 and 4 in rats was detected by using immunohistochemical method. Correlation analysis was performed on the liver proliferation and regeneration,and the expression of TNF-? and IL-10.Results The survival rate in control group,experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 was 100 % , 79 % and 29 % respectively. 2.Selection of donors of living related liver transplantation for Wilson’s disease

Objective To summarize experience of selection of donors of living related liver transplantation (LRLT) for Wilson’s Disease.Methods Twenty-nine cases of Wilson’s disease were subjected to LRLT in our center. A retrospective data analysis was carried on 70 potential donors. Results Twenty-three of the 70 potential donors were excluded. The causes were as follows: family and traditional background (n=10, 43.5 % ), copper metabolism abnormality, serum ceruloplasmin 100 ?g (n=6, 26.1 % ), hepatic steatosis (n=4, 17.4 % ) and hepatitis B (n=3, 13 %). The grafts were right liver (n=10) and left liver (n=19). Graft-recipient weight ratio was ( 1.38 ? 0.44 ) %. All donors recovered completely. Perioperative surgical complications occurred in 3 donors and were cured without reoperation, temporary biliary leakages (n=2) as well as postoperative bleeding from the wound of liver (n=1). Conclusions Major impact on living relative donors for Wilson’s Disease is traditional background, copper metabolism abnormalities, hepatitis B and hepatic steatosis. Comprehensive preoperative evaluation of potential donors and harvesting liver surgery innovation ensure the donor safety and graft quality.
3.Expression of nerve growth factor p75 receptor and sortilin in the skin fibroblasts and scar fibroblasts

BACKGROUND: Previous studies have found that nerve growth factors play an important role in the process of wound healing, but there is less research for the low-affinity nerve growth factor receptor p75 and sortilin in fibroblasts, and no reports on whether there are differences in expression of p75 and sortilin in the scar fibroblasts and normal skin fibroblasts. OBJECTIVE: To study the expression of low-affility nerve growth factor receptor p75 and sortilin in the normal human skin fibroblasts and the human keloid fibroblasts. METHODS: The keloid fibroblasts and normal hunman skin fibroblasts were cultured in vitro, and the immortalized epithelial cells HaCaT were used as the positive control. The real-time PCR was used to detect the mRNA expression of the p75 and sortilin in the keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts, and western blot and immunocytochemical staining were used to detect the protein expression of p75 and sortilin. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The real-time PCR and western blot results showed that in the protein and mRNA levels, p75 and sortilin showed positive expression in the keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts, and there was no significant difference in the expression of p75 between keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts, and the expressions of p75 and sortilin in the keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts were significantly lower than those in HaCaT. There was no significant difference of p75 expression between keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts, and the expression of sortilin in the keloid fibroblasts was significantly lower than that in the normal human skin fibroblasts (P < 0.05). Immunocytochemical staining result showed that the expression of p75 and sortilin in the keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts were distributed in the membrane and cytoplasm. Precursor nerve growth factor combined with high-affinity p75 receptor could promote the apoptosis of the cells with the help of sortilin, and the expression of sortilin in the keloid fibroblasts was significantly lower than that in the normal human skin fibroblasts, which may associated with the high proliferation of the keloid fibroblasts. The results provide a new target for the prevention and treatment of pathological scars.

ObjectiveTo use the rapid screening of low vision and cataract of Zhangjiakou agricultural region by free pupil hole bottom digital camera,to approach cataract needed operation and rural cataract of Zhangjiakou by free pupil hole bottom digital camera.MethodsTo screening of low vision and cataract of above 55 years the crowd of Zhangjiakou 10 suburban county.ResultsThe actual screening 438000 persons,lower visual acuity 41787persons,total number of screening 9.5%,binocular parallax 22305 persons,total number of screening 5.09%,All of the low number of total vision 64092 persons( 14.6% ).The screening was also found,cataract 12439 persons,total number of screening 2.74%,cataract needed operation 4623 persons,total number of screening 1.06%.ConclusionUsing non-mydriatic fundus digital camera Zhangjiakou agricultural regions of low visual acuity and cataract rapid screening was feasible,Zhangjiakou agricultural area cataract prevention should focus on Zhangbei,Hong Bao,Shangyi County in a remote mountainous area,Zhangjiakou agricultural areas to establish an information sharing,efficient operation of multiple departments linkage mechanism.
5.The role of gastric acid in the esophageal adenocarcinogenesis induced by duodenal juice reflux in rats.

Objective To investigate the role of gastric acid in the esophageal adenocarcinogenesis induced by duodenal juice reflux in the rats. Methods Eight week old male Sprague Dawley rats, 125 in all, weighing approximately 200 g each, were used. Three types of surgical procedures were performed to produce gastroesophageal reflux (GER), duodenoesophageal reflux (DER) and duodenogastroesophageal reflux (DGER), and a group of sham operation (SO). The animals were fed with a standard diet. Esophageal mucosal pathological changes were examined 20 weeks after surgery. Results No pathological changes were found in the 15 SO rats animals. Significant esophagitis were observed in three reflux groups. In 35 DER and 32 DGER animals, the incidence of Barrett's esophagus (BE) was 91.4%, 84.4% respectively and the incidence of esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC) was 25.7%, 53.1% respectively, significantly higher than those in the 24 GER animals ( P
6.Factors Related to Hospitalized Schizophrenics with Metabolic Syndrome

Objective:To explore the relative factors of hospitalized schizophrenics with metabolic syndrome. Methods: Patients data were collected by the way of face-to-face questionnaire to patients or their guardians, consulting patients medical record, checking physical or laboratory examination. Information include age, duration of the disease, the classification of antipsychotics and dosage, fast plasma glucose, plasma lipids, blood pressure, etc of hospitalized schizophrenics. The relative factors of metabolic syndrome were analyzed. Results; Among 797 schizophrenics, there were 153 cases (19. 2% ) suffered from metabolic syndrome. Single-factor analysis showed that the patients with longer duration of the disease, taking clozapine, etc, were at high risk of metabolic syndrome, and sex didnt relate to metabolic syndrome; Logistic regression analysis appeared that metabolic syndrome correlated with age, clozapine, CRP concentration, etc. Conclusion: The possible risk factors causing metabolic syndrome in schizophrenia include, duration of the disease, etc.
7.A Survey on the Non-communicable Disease Prevalence and its Risk Factors Analysis in Residents in Shanghai

Objective To evaluate the epidemic status of main non-communicable chronic diseases among the residents of Jingan district in Shanghai.Methods Multistage cluster sampling was adopted.960 residents were investigated with questionnaire and physical examination.Results The prevalence rates of Hypertension,diabetes mellitus,Cerebral vessels and Heart-blood were 25.6%,5.8%,3.1%and 5.7%,respectively.The multivarate logistic regression analysis showed that the related risk factors to four non-communicable chronic diseases included family history,the OR(95%CI)1.6(1.2~2.3),6.9 (3.5~13.6),4.5(2.0~10.0),2.2(1.2~4.0)separately.Conclusion Hypertension,diabetes are the main non-communicable disease hazarding the public health.The government and professional institutes should raise the attention on this serious problem and finance more as well as supplying policy support.
9.Determination of serum sFas and sFasL in the clinical research before and after treatment of uterine cervix cancer

Objective To investigate the role of sFas and sFasL in the development and progression of uterine cervix cancer(UCC)and the clinical significance of detecting them.Method Serum sFas and sFasL levels of 30 UCC patients were detected by enzyme-linked immunosobent assay (ELISA) before and after treatment (operation or chemotherapy),at the same time serum sFas and sFasL levels of 20 healthy volunteers were also detected by ELISA.Results Serum sFas and sFasL levels of UCC patients[(8.60±0.27),(2.96±0.65)μg/L] were obviously higher than those of healthy volunteers[(6.27±0.25),(0.21±0.05)μg/L],there was statistical significance (P<0.05).Serum sFas and sFasL levels of those who had operations decreased obviously 2 weeks after the operation,serum sFas and sFasL levels of those who had chemotherapy 3 weeks later increased,there was statistical significance when compared before and after treatment (P<0.05).Conclusions sFas and sFasL may play important roles in the development and progression of UCC,detection of serum sFas and sFasL levels may conduce to observe the changes of pathogenetic condition.
10.Expressions of histamine receptors in pediatric mid-urethral striated muscles and mouse striated myogenesis

Objective To explore the expressions of histamine receptor subtypes (H1, H2, H3, H4 receptor) in children's mid-urethral striated muscles and during mouse C2C12 striated myogenesis.Methods Children's mid-urethral striated muscle samples were paraffin embedded and tissue sections were made, then immunohistochemical staining was used to check H1, H2, H3, H4 receptors.C2C12 myogenesis was induced, the early differentiation early markers of desmin, middle marker of myogenin, late marker of myosin heavy chain and histamine 4 receptor subtype mRNA were checked by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction.Immunofluorescence staining was done to check 3 differentiation markers and histamine H3 receptor protein.Results During myogenesis, the expression of desmin mRNA in the differentiation of 2,4,6 days were 12,68,60 times as many as that of the undifferentiated myoblasts;the expression of myogenin mRNA in the differentiation of 2,4,6 days were 631,1 408,914 times as many as that of the undifferentiated myoblasts;the expression of myosin heavy chain mRNA in the differentiation of 2,4,6 days were 7 718,9 448,286 288 times as many as that of the undifferentiated myoblasts.The expression level of H1 receptor mRNA in the differentiation of 6 days was about 25% to undifferentiated cells;the expression of H2 receptor mRNA in undifferentiated cells and differentiated cells groups had no significant difference (F =1.47, P > 0.05);the expression of H3 receptor mRNA in the differentiation of 2,4,6 days was 28,103,198 times to undifferentiated cells;H4 receptor mRNA was not detected.In immunofluorescence staining, H3 receptor protein staining intensity increased with the differentiation.Immunohistochemistry of pediatric urethral striated staining indicated that H1, H2, H3 receptor staining was positive,H1 receptor showed strong positive staining, H3 receptor moderate positive staining,and H2 receptor showed weak positive staining.Conclusions Histamine receptor subtypes of H1 receptor, H2 receptor and H3 receptor were found during mouse striated myogenesis and in the children's mid-urethral striated muscles.The increasing expression of H3R with myogenesis might indicate it plays a role in mature striated muscle cells.
