Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(12):-
Microwave ablation is widely applied in clinical practice for its safety, minimal invasiveness and definite effectiveness. This technique, however,is still in the initial stage in the treatment of renal tumors. This article introduces the principles and development of the technique,as well as its experimental researches, clinical application and effect evaluation in the treatment of renal cell carcinoma.

Objective To detect the differential expression profile of microRNAs between patients with or without gall?bladder stone. Methods Samples from 30 patients with gallbladder stones (GS) and 30 without gallbladder stones (GP) were collected, in which microRNAs expression profiles were examined using high-throughput sequencing instrument Illumi?na HiSeq 2500. MicroRNA sequences were obtained and compared to Genebank and Rfam database for classification. Differ?entially expressed microRNAs were screened, and their target genes were predicted. Significant enrichment analysis of GO and KEGG were performed. Real-time quantitative PCR was performed on selected miRNAs in order to validate their expres?sion. Results Clean tags were obtained from both GS group (n=2 215 832) and GP group (n=1 424 770). A total of 17 mi?croRNAs were differentially expressed between GS and GP groups with statistical significance, among which 9 were up-regu?lated and 8 were down-regulated in GS group compared to those in GP group. GO (Gene ocology) analysis showed that target genes were enriched in ion binding and transport, apolipoprotein binding, calcium channel activity, protein kinase activity, steroid hormone biosynthesis and metabolism. KEGG(Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes)analysis is shown for the target genes enriched in cancer related pathways, including WNT, HIPPO pathways. qRT-PCR validation of some differen?tially expressed miRNAs confirmed the result of high-throughput data analysis. Conclusion The differential expression levels of microRNAs may play an important role in occurrence and development of gallbladder stones.

This study is to establish the gastric cold model of rats. After gastric feeding with cold water for 5 weeks and extra iced water bath in the last 2 weeks, model group show distinct physical sign of gastric cold syndrome. The pathology of gastrics reveals gastricism of model group, while treatment group(treated with Fanzuojin Wan) show mild lesion. Elisa detection of model group show that the solution of interleukin-2 (IL-2) is higher than blank group. The difference with significance among model group, treatment group and blank group reveals the success of the establishment of gastric cold syndrome.

Objective To analyze the mechanism of nasal deformity by reviewing the possible pathogenesis and nasal anatomy and to find the effective and reliable operative methods to correct nasal deformities in unilateral cleft lip. Methods 57 patients (37 males,20 females, and range in age from 12 to 25 years, with mean of 18.6 years) with nasal deformities in unilateral cleft lip were available for this study. The nasal deformities were treated with the following surgical procedures according to the different locations and degree Of nasal deformities. The eompositive techniques included:alveolar bone grafting was taken to correct the collapse the nasaI base;a cortical plate was inserted between the two medial crura of the alar cartilage.According to the nasal contours of non-cleft side, the alar cartilage was resected and suspended to its normal and symmetrical position. The alar cartilaginous ring was reconstruction, which maintained the nostril shape 3 month postoperatively. Results A total of 57 cases were treated by the method above, and were ranged with score by operators and patients.93% of cases were evaluated as satisfaction after operation. The follow-up for 3 to 24 months showed that 52 cases had achieved satisfactory effects,5 cases showed the trend to relapse. Conclusion The cause of nasal deformities in unilateral cleft lip is complex. The study has achieved a significant improvement by synthetical correction of deformities of maxilla, cartilage and soft tissues, and the restoration of nasal-labial muscles. The rigid suspending is more important to maintain the nostril contour and avoid relapse.

Objective To investigate the effects of high molecular bio-degradable film on preventing peritoneal adhesion. Methods One hundred and twenty rats were divided into control group,non-bio-degradable film group and polycaprolactone(PCL) group.Animal models of peritoneal adhesion made by operations on rats serve as control group. In the study,non-bio-degradable film and bio-degradable,namely PCL films sensitive to pseudomonas enzyme, were put into the opening of peritoneum. The effect of the films on peritoneal adhesion was examined on 1,3,7 and 30 d after operation. Results Peritoneal adhesion was found in all the rats of control group and very low in PCL group and non-bio-degradable film group. Conclusion PCL film can effectively prevent the formation of postoperative peritoneal adhesion.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 1995;0(01):-
By means of cell hybridization in situ with digoxigenin labeled probe, we detected the expression of C-myc protooncogene in peripheral blood mononuclear cells from 31 SLE patients and 10 healthy persons. The results showed that the level of C-myc mRNA in SLE patients was significantly higher than that in normal controls, and the increased level correlated with disease activity. There was also a positive correlation between C-myc mRNA and serum levels of ANA, anti-dsDNA, IgG, C3. Our study indicates that C-myc gene is important for the pathogenesis of SLE.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 2006;0(07):-
Objective To discuss the consequences of two different methods of high pressure injection in CT contrast enhancement to display the aortic dissecting aneurysm. Methods 100 patients underwent Lightspeed 16 MS CT with contrast enhancement of Stellant D high pressure injector(Medrad),injecting speed of 4.0 ml/s and 80 ml dosage of contrast medium. All patients were divided into A and B groups with 50 in each. The single high pressure injection was applied to A group without isotonic Na chloride flush.B group underwent the same high pressure injection and followed by isotonic Na chloride flush. The method of evaluation was carried out by double blind observation. Results A group revealed radiologic artifact up to 40 cases with positive rate of 80%.B group demonstrated the same kind of radiologic artifact in 26 cases with positive rate of 52%.Conclusions Using normal saline(sodium chloride solution)flush after high pressure injection of contrast medium during MSCT angiography is obviously better to demonstrate the internal structures of treatvessels.
