Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(6):820-821
ObjectiveTo explore the feasibility and safety of the spleen-preserving surgery in the treatment of traumatic rupture.Methods47 patients with traumatic rupture were treated with spleen-preserving surgery:the biological glue which local physical bleeding had 7 cases, suture repair had 13 cases, splenic artery ligation had 10 cases, splenic artery ligation and splenic repair had 9 cases, partial splenectomy had 8 cases.Results47 patients had four cases of infection, and cured after dressing,1 case had postoperative bleeding symptoms and used splenectomy surgery.46 patients with spleen-preserving operation is successful, the average length of stay was 15 days, there is no deaths. After 6 months, all patients used abdominal B-utrasoundor CT scans to confirm the survival of spleen is good and indicator of the examination is normal.Follow-up of these patients had no dangerous infections and complications.ConclusionSpleen-preserving surgery in the treatment of traumatic rupture was safe, feasible, could retain the greatest degree of function, and could be used in clinical practice.
5.Effects of electroacupuncture on chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting
International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(1):25-28
Objective To investigate the effects of electroacupuncture at Neiguan point (PC6) and Jianshi point (PC5) combined with granisetron on chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. Methods Seventy-two tumor patients undergoing chemotherapy were randomly divided into an electroacupuncture group (38 patients) and a false electroacupuncture group (34 patients). The electroacupuncture group received electroacupuncture at PC6 and PC5 (1 h, bid) combined with granisetron (3 mg, i.v.) 30 min before chemotherapy, and repeat one time after 12 h. The false electroacupuncture group received electroacupunctur at false PC6 and false PC5, and other treatment same as the electroacupuncture group. Both groups were treated for 3 days. The nausea and vomiting frequencies and clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results The vomiting frequency in the electroacupuncture group was significantly lower than that in the false electroacupuncture group on day 2 (0.37 ± 0.75 vs. 1.12 ± 2.13;t=2.034, P=0.046). The nausea degree in the electroacupuncture group was significantly lower than that in the false electroacupuncture group on day 2 (1.21 ± 0.93 vs. 1.88 ± 0.59;t=3.596, P=0.001) and day 3 (1.26 ± 0.92 vs. 1.68 ± 0.53; t=2.293, P=0.025). The total effective rate in the electroacupuncture group was significantly higher than those in the false electroacupuncture group on day 2 (76.3% vs. 64.7%; χ2=12.390, P=0.006) and day 3 (73.7%vs. 64.7%;χ2=12.313, P=0.006). Conclusions Electroacupuncture at PC6 and PC5 combined with granisetron can attenuate chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.
6.Effects of Adiponectin on Cell Activity and Expression of T-cadherin in Human RPE Cells Cultured with High D-glucose
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the effects of adiponectin on cell activity and expression of T-cadherin in human retinal pigment epithelial(hRPE) cells cultured with high glucose. Methods ①The hRPE cells were divided into three groups:normal glucose group(5.5mmol/L glucose),high glucose group (33mmol/L glucose),high glucose plus adiponectin group (33mmol/L glucose+2.5ug/ml adiponectin).48h later, the cell activity was observed by MTT assay.②After the above groups were cultured respectively for 24h,48h,72h again, the expression of T-cadherin mRNA was observed by RT-PCR. Results ①Cell activity in high glucose group significantly decreased. Cell activity adiponectin group was higher than that in the high glucose group.②With the extension of time ,the expression of T-cadherin decreased in high glucose group, but increased in adiponectin group. Conclusion Adiponectin may be protect the hRPE cells by T-cadherin.
7.Determination of Trace Chromium (Ⅵ) in Drinking Water by Extraction-Spectrophotometry
Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(05):-
Objective To establish a simple and rapid method for determination of trace chromium(Ⅵ) in drinking water. Methods In the weak acid solution containing n-butyl alchhol, trace chromium (Ⅵ) in the water connected with diphenylcarbazide and sodium dodecyl sulfate into purplish red ternary iron compound, which could be extracted by chloroform and quantified at wavelength of 550 nm. Results The detection limit was 0.001 mg/L,the RSDs were 1.1%-1.4% and the recovery rate was 96%-113%. Conclusion The method was rapid, simple and the sensitivity and accuracy will meet the requirement of standard test methods for drinking water.
8.Effect of conditioned medium with concanavalin A-activated spleen cells supernatant on cultured rabbit corneal endothelial cells
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the effect of conditioned medium made up of ConA-activated spleen cells supernatant on cultured rabbit corneal endothelial cells (RCECs).Methods RCECs were primarily cultured in vitro by revealing descemet membrane and endothelium combining tissues masses.Culture medium was RPMI 1640 with 10% FBS and varied concentrations of conA-activated spleen cells supernatant.Experimental groups were divided by different concentrations of ConA-conditioned supernatant:5%,10%,15%,and 20%.In the control group only RPMI1640 and 10% FBS were used.Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium colorimetry analysis was used to evaluate the proliferation of RCECs cellular population. The cultured cells were identified by immunohistochemical staining for neuronal specific enolase (NSE).Results The RCECs were cultured successfully.RCECs presented positive expression in cytoplasm with NSE immunohistochemical assay. There were significant differences in the experimental groups compared with the control group (P
9.Mediastinal Tumors:Imaging Characters
Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(10):-
Objective To study the value of imaging characters in diagnosing mediastinal tumors. Methods X-ray and CT findings of pathologically proved mediastinal tumors in 58 cases were analysed, the findings enabling qualitative diagnosis were recommended. Results There were 40 cases of anterior mediastinal tumors including intrathoracic thyroid tumors [n=32,5 tyroid carcinomas and 1 thyroid cyst ,thymomas (n=3) and teratomas (n=5, 3 cases ruptured)]. All the other 18 cases in posterior mediastinum were neurogenic tumors. Conclusion Based on the combination of the mediastinal compartment knowledge, X-ray and CT findings of the tumors and the clinical information, the qualitative diagnosis of mediastinal tumors will be characterized correctly.
10.Induction of human tumor cell apoptosis by sodium artesunate and its molecular mechanism
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(09):-
Object To study the apoptosis induced by sodium artesunate (SA) in human liver cancer cells and its molecular mechanism. Methods Induction of the apoptosis was analyzed by fluorescent microscope, transmission electron micrograph and flow lytometry based on drug treated BEL-7402. Expressions of p53, p21 and bc1-2 were determined by Western blot. Results The expression level of p53 and p21 had no change remarkbly, but the expression level of bc1-2 was reduced compared to that of the control group after the human liver cancer cells were treated by SA. Conclusion The apoptosis in human liver cancer cells (BEL-7402) may be induced by SA, the molecular mechanism of apoptosis may be p53-independent, that is no relative to p53 and p21. Otherwise, it is relative to bc1-2 down-regulation.
