Objective:To investigate the effects of indicated concentrations VEGF and DEX on MMP-9 expression and motility of Tca-8113 cell. BACKGROUND:Medical risks are al unsafe events or that damage to the patient during medical services. Present medical risk management is mainly qualitative experience, and lacks of regular failure analysis and risk assessment for established medical treatment.
OBJECTIVE:To construct models of medical process failure analysis and risk assessment, find possible risks during medical treatment, and propose effective measures to eliminate or decrease above risks.
METHODS:Failure mode and effects analysis during reliability engineering were used in production. That was, risk assessment was conducted in the possible technical failure modes, causes and al impacts on the product during each process. Improvement measures were made for weak link during the process. The risk could reach an acceptable level. In accordance with failure mode and effects analysis during production, the procedure of medical process failure analysis and risk assessment could be made to analyze the potential failures during medical treatment. Moreover, the improvement measures were proposed for weak link with high risks so as to prevent the occurrence of risk of significant adverse effects on patients.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The methods and basic procedures of medical process failure analysis and risk assessment were established by using the experience of failure mode and effects analysis. Taking the rescue process of myocardial infarction in the emergency of a hospital as an example, the analysis of failures, reasons and impacts was performed taking“chewing 300 mg aspirin”in the rescue steps as a key. The improvement measures and suggestions were proposed for unacceptable failures and reasons. Seen from the analysis results, proposed improvement measures and suggestions can obviously decrease the risks of failures caused by this step to patients. Therefore, the application of failure mode and effects analysis in medical treatment has a strong practical value.

OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality standard of Liuwei dihuang pill (concentrated pill). METHODS:Radix Rehmanniae Preparata,Dioscorea opposita,Poria cocos and Alisma orientalis in Liuwei dihuang pill (concentrated pill) were identified by TLC and the contents of paeonolum and loganin were determined by HPLC.RESULTS:The TLC spots were clear and well-separated yet free of interference of negative sample.The linear ranges of paeonolum and laganin were 0.100 6～1.006 ?g (r=0.999 9) and 0.309 6～2.322 ?g(r=0.999 6),respectively,and their recovery rates were 98.2%(RSD=2.3%,n=6) and 95.3%(RSD=0.42%,n=6),respectively.CONCLUSION:The established standard is applicable for the quality control of Liuwei dihuang pill.

Objective To make a survey of the binocular visual acuity, residual visual acuity and the pathogenic factors causing the deficient of the vision handicap student in Blindness-Deaf-Mute school in Guiyang to provide the data for low vision rehabilitation. Methods Through routine examination, we examined the 58 students with vision impairment and further advised them wear the optics visual aids. Results 6 cases of low vision, accounting for 10.3%; 52 cases of blindness, accounting for 89.7%. One case was rectified its visual acuity by means of subjective refraction and rectification of eyesight. Causes of the disease: 35 cases suffered from the deficient due to genetic factors, accounting for 60.3%; among them, the congenital glaucoma was the first (12/35). 23 cases suffered from the deficient due to acquired factors, accounting for 39.7%, among them, the keratomalacia was the first (19/23). Visual aids wearing :visual acuity≥0.3, 3 cases; visual acuity≥0.05, 6 cases. Conclusions Prevention can prevent the genesis of blindness. The students of residual visual acuity should wear visual aids.

Statins are a class of hydroxymethylglutaryl-CoA (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitors, which are pervasively used to reduce blood cholesterol concentration in hypercholesterolemic patients and prevent cardiovascular diseases in clinic, duo to excellent drug efficiency and good safety. In recent years, increasing evidences have demonstrated that statins have potential anti-tumor effect through inhibiting cancer cells growth, invasion, metastasis, preventing angiogenesis, promoting cancer cells apoptosis and synergetically enhancing the effect of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. However, there are no domestic reports about statins' effect on endometrial carcinoma, additionally, conclusions of related foreign studies are inconsistent. This review summarized the effect of statins on endometrial carcinoma.
