AIM: To evaluate the therapeutic effect of treatment with surgery and mifepristone in patients with endometriosis. METHODS: The medical records of 126 endometriosis patients undergoing surgical operation were analyzed retrospectively. There were 28 cases in stage Ⅰ or Ⅱ, 73 cases in stage Ⅲ, and 25 cases in stage Ⅳ. Conservative surgery was performed in 96 cases and semi-conservative surgery in 30 cases. Postoperation, 92 cases continued taking 10 mg?d~ -1 of mifepristone for 6 months and 34 cases did not. All patients received 3 to 5 years follow up. RESULTS: The complete remission (CR) rate in mifepristone group was 77.2 %, partial remission (PR) rate was 22.8 %, and recurrence rate was 16.3 %. This study was aimed to observe the therapeutic effect of Bushen Tiaogan of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbs combined with clomiphene citrate therapy of promoting small follicular development. A total of 70 small follicle ovulation infertility cases were randomly divided into the control group of 35 cases with the treatment of clomiphene citrate of 50 to 100 mg for 5 days, and 35 cases in the treatment group with TCM herbal medicine of Radix Polygoni Multiflori, Lycium c hinense , eucommia, bupleurum root, turmeric, Fructus aurantii to nourish the kidney and regulate the liver. The clinical efficacy and maximum follicular diameter (MFD) were observed. The results showed that the cycle pregnancy rate in the treatment group was 43 . 59%, and 35 . 13% in the control group. The curative effect of treatment group was obviously superior to the control group. There was statistical significance in the curative effect ( P < 0 . 05 ) . The incidence of LUFS was 7 . 69% in the treatment group , and 29 . 73% in the control group . There was statistical significance ( P < 0 . 01 ) . The MFD value ( 18-28 mm ) in the ovulation cycle, the cycle pregnancy rate was 44.44% in the control group and 55.17% in the treatment group. There was statistical significance difference ( P < 0 . 05 ) . The early abortion rate was 18 . 75% in the control group and 6.25% in the treatment group. There was statistical significance difference (P < 0.01). It was con-cluded that Bushen Shugan Y angyin TCM herbs combined with clomiphene citrate can promote small follicular development with obvious clinical curative effect .

Objective To clone the human β-globin matrix attachment region(MAR) and construct the mammalian animal expression vector pCAT-MAR, which contains the MAR and CAT reporter gene.Methods The human genomic DNA was extracted through phenol/chloroform and precipitated with ethanol, followed the MAR was amplified through PCR using the primers designed according to the GenBank sequence. After identified by agarose gel electrophoresis, sequenced and analyzed by the software, the PCR products were cut with restriction enzymes and ligated into the pCAT3-control vector to construct the pCAT-MAR vector. Results About 770bp band appeared in the agarose gel electrophoresis, the similarly compared with the published MAR sequence was 99.9%, the DNA fragment has the MAR typical features. The pCAT-MAR vector was demonstrated to be right through digestion with the corresponding enzymes and agarose gel electrophoresis. Conclusion The humanβ-globin MAR is cloned through PCR, and the expression vector pCAT-MAR containing the MAR is successfully constructed.

Background and purpose:Cervical cancer is one of the common disease in women in china.Radical surgery remains the first choice for patients with early-stage cervical cancer.However,the majority of patients with bulky disease have lymph nodes or metastases when diagnosed.Palatinum-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy has been utilized in locally advanced cervical cancer with the aim of improving response and survival.The study was to evaluate the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by radical surgery for the patients with locally bulky Ⅰ_(B2) and Ⅱ_A cervical carcinoma.Methods:Between September 2003 and February 2004,51 untreated patients with Ⅰ_(B2) and Ⅱ_A cervical carcinoma were enrolled in study group,and were treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy with cisplatin,vincristine and bleomylin for one cycle followed by radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy;another 51 patients as control group were treated with radical surgery alone.The tumor size,depth of stromal invasion,lymph node metastasis and involvement of surgical specimens were assessed.Results:The overall clinical response rate was 41.2%.There were no complete and progressive ones.The blood loss during operation was 116.82?45.50ml,it was significantly lower than that in control group(P

Purpose To study the diagnostic value of dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI),diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and the combination of these two techniques in benign and malignant nodules of central prostate gland.Materials and Methods Forty-nine patients with nodular abnormal signal in central prostate gland who had accepted prostate MRI scan in Shihezi University Medical College First Affiliated Hospital from September 2015 to December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed,and all the subjects had accepted MRI T2WI,DTI and DCE scan.The pathological results confirmed that there were 21 prostate cancer (PCa) and 36 benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) among 57 central gland nodule samples.The fractional anisotropy value,apparent diffusion coefficient value,time to peak,SImax,the curve slope and timesignal intensity curve of nodules were respectively detected,the differences of the parameters between PCa group and BPH group were compared,and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was carried out.Results The difference of fractional anisotropy value,apparent diffusion coefficient value,time to peak and R between PCa group and BPH group was statistically significant (P＜0.05),and there was no significant difference in SImax (P＞0.05);the time-signal intensity curve type of PCa group was mainly in the form of fast-increasing and then decreasing,while the curve type of BPH group was mainly in the form of platform.The area under the ROC curve of DCE,DTI and the combination of DEC and DTI were 0.87 (95％ CI:0.751-0.942),0.85 (95％ CI:0.734-0.933) and 0.94 (95％ CI:0.837-0.983),respectively.Conclusion In the cases of diagnosing benign and malignant nodules of central prostate gland,the accuracy of DTI and DCE was lower than that of the combination of these two techniques,and the diagnostic effect of DTI combined with DCE was better.

Objective To provide basis for clinical teaching methods and course system,this article analyzed practice nursing students self-directed learning readiness status and its influencing factors.Methods The report surveyed a total of 240 nursing students in Zhengzhou University,the Peking Union Medical College by using the general information questionnaire,the Chinese version of Nursing SelfDirected Learning Readiness Scale and The Questionnaire of Clinical Teaching.The total score of the practice nursing students' self-directed learning readiness was obtained on the basis of quantitative analysis,and in this paper,the development and research status had been summarized through document analysis.Results The total score of the practice nursing students' self-directed learning readiness was (116.59±21.79) scores.The influencing factors of practice nursing students' self-directed learning readiness included:whether the students like nursing major,whether perception learning difficulties,whether having the experience of group learning,and the satisfaction to clinical teachers,curriculum system optimization.Conclusions Currently practice nursing students self-learning readiness is relatively low and have many influencing factors.A targeted training should be taken during the clinical teaching and the course system should be optimized to improve the practice nursing students' self-directed learning readiness.

Objective To study the mutagenicity of water from Yangling-Xingping section of Weihe River and wastewater from paper mills along the river. Methods No1 and No2 paper mill as the pollution source were located along the Yangling-Xingping section of Weihe River,their sampling points were named paper mill 1 and paper mill 2.The outlets for sewage at the bank of Weihe River in Yangling and Xingping were selected the sampling points of pollution sections, namely Yangwu and Xingwu respectively. The clear sections (Yangshang and Xingshang) were situated at a distance of 1 km from polluted sections at the upper reaches of Weihe River were selected and at the sames at the lower reaches were selected as the self-purification sections, namely Yangxia and Xingxia. The mutagenicity of water samples collected from above sampling points was tested by Ames test,mouse sperm malformation test, Vicia faba root tips cell micronucleus test. Results The results of Ames test showed that the water samples of Xingwu, Xingxia and two paper mills presented mutigenicity.The water samples of Xingwu, Xingxia and two paper mills showed significantly higher levels of sperm malformation rates compared with that of negative control group(P

OBJECTIVE: To establish the preparation process and the quality control standards for Jinhuanglidan Granules (JHLD). METHODS: Rheum Officinale, Rhizoma Coptis, Radix Paeoniae Alba and Radix Scutellariae were identified by TLC. The content of berberine hydrochloride in the preparation was determined by TLCS. RESULTS: Rheum Officinale, Rhizoma Coptis, Radix Paeoniae Alba and Radix Scutellariae could be identified by TLC. Berberine hydrochloride showed a good linearity in the range of 0 .05 985ug- 0. 29 925ug, r = 0. 9 996(n = 5). The average recovery was 99. 64%, RSD = 2. 54%. CONCLUSIO- N: This method is simple, accurate and specific. It can be used for the quality control of JHLD.
