1.Influencing Factors on the Properties of Bone Scaffolds and Their Manufacturing Techniques.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(2):480-484
To serve as carriers of cells and bioactive molecules, three-dimensional scaffolds play a key role in bone defect repair. The chemical component and microstructure of the scaffold can affect the mechanical properties and seed cells. A variety of fabrication techniques have been used in producing scaffolds, some made random porous structure, some created well-designed structure using rapid prototyping methods, and others prepared bio-derived materials as scaffolds. However, scaffolds may vary in their inner structure, mechanical properties and repairing efficiency as well because of different manufacturing methods. In this review, we overview the main achievements concerning the effects of material and microstructure on the mechanical performance, seed cells and defect repair of bone scaffolds.

3.Found in Inflammatory Zone 1 Enhance Scavenger Receptor-A Expression in Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells
Chinese Journal of Hypertension 2006;0(11):-
Background Found in Inflammatory Zone 1(FIZZ1)is a newly found protein associated with pulmonary inflammation. We previously had reported its role in the development of atherosclerosis, but its detailed mechanism has not been explored. Objective This study was designed to delineate the effect of FIZZ1 on the expression of scavenger receptor(SR-A)in vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMC)scavenger receptor(SR-A)induced by ox-LDL.Methods Smooth muscle cells were treated with ox-LDL(20 mg/L)or cocultured with recombinate FIZZ1 at different concentration(final concentration 3?10-6,9?10-6,2.7?10-5 mmol/L).The expression of SR-A of smooth muscle cell was detected by flow cytometry and laser confocal microscopy. Results SR-A positive expression was found in VSMCs treated with ox-LDL after 24 hours, which were located mainly in cell membrane by laser confocal microscopy.FIZZ1 significantly accentuate the LDL induced increases in SR-A positive rate in VSMC in a dose dependent manner(P

6.Minimum alveolar concentration of sevoflurane for blunting the responses to removal of laryngeal mask airway in anesthetized children
Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2008;28(12):1071-1073
Objective To determine the minimum alveolar concentration(MAC)of sevoflurane for blunting the responses to removal of the laryngeal mask airway(LMA)in 50%anesthetized children. Methods Twenty-five ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ children aged 3-8 yr undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia weTe enrolled in this stuay.Anesthesia was induced with inhalation of 8%Sevoflurane.LMA was inserted when the children lost eyelash reflex and the lower jaw was relaxed.Anesthesia was maintained with 3%sevoflurane.All the children kept spontaneous breathing during operation.Assisted ventilation waw performed when necessary to maintain PET CO2 at 35-45 mm Hg.After the surgery the target end-tidal sevoflurane concentration was maintained for 10 min before LMA was removed.Up-and-down sequential allocation was used to determine山e MAC.The initial end-tidal concentration was 1%and was increased/decreased by 20%in the next patient if the extubation response was positive or negative.Limb movement,breath-holding,laryngosposm and hypoxemia(SpO2<95%)were considered to be the signs of positive response. The midpoint from positive response to negative response was made the balance point.and the mean value ofthe concentrations of sevoflurane at all the balance points were calculated as MAC.Results The end-tidal sevoflurane concentration for blunting the responses to removal of LMA was 0.98%.Conclusion The MAC of sevoflilrane for blunting the responses to removal of LMA in 50%anesthetized children(aged 3-8 yr)is 0.98%.
7.Surgery treatment of 146 cases of clavicle fracture with internal fixation
Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(10):-
[Objective]To explore clinical class, surgical treatment and clinical results of clavicle fracture with internal fixation.[Method]A retrospective analysis of 146 cases of clavicle fracture was reported.Totally 146 cases of clavicle fracture accepted by our department from January of 1996 to June of 2006 were carried out the operation using plate shaft. There were 98 males and 78 females.Aged from 8 to 84 years, average of 38.6 years. The average age of the patients at surgery were 38.6 years(ranged 8 to 84 years). There were 9 cases in proximal 1/3,115 cases in middle 1/3 and 12 cases in distal 1/3 of clavicle, accompanied by 7 cases of brachial-plexus injury,4 cases of vascular injury,16 cases of another fracture. There were 7 cases of old clavicle fracture.Surgical methods: Both proximal 1/3 and middle 1/3 of clavicle fracture were treated by AO reconstruction plate or similar plate.Fracture pieces of clavicle were enlaced with screws or steel wire before fixation with plate. The distal of clavicle fracture should be fixed with 3 screws. The distal 1/3 of clavicle fracture with acromioclavicular luxation was treated by reconstruction plate or c clavicle hook plate.Patient could exercise their shoulder joint at 48 hours postoperatively.Post operative evaluation: Clinical results of clavicle fracture with internal fixation were evaluated with appearance, fracture healing time, shoulder joint function and living quality around fracture.[Result]Patients were followed up more than 6 months after operation.Adopt Neer standard to evaluate the patient's function after the operation. There were excellent results in 96 cases and good in 50 without injury of subclavicular nerve and blood vessel, infection, loose and prolapse of internal fixation devices and fracture disunion and malunion and macrosis bony callus.X-ray shows clavicle fracture healing completely. The patients can get painless free-running.[Conclusion]Internal fixation for treatment of clavicle fracture is characterized by little wound, firm fixation and early movement of the joint and is an effective method to cure clavicle fracture.
8.HISTOGENESIS OF THE HUMAN STOMACH
Acta Anatomica Sinica 1955;0(03):-
In this article we collected 2 embryos and 69 fetuses between 7 and 30 weeks of gestational age and 3 neonates to study the development of the human stomach by histological, histochemical and immunogold-siver methods. In 7-week embryo, the superficial layer of gastric mucosa was stratified columnar epithelium, containing a large amount of glycogen. In 9-week fetus, simple columnar epithelium, gastric pits and glandular buds were observed. At this stage a few parietal cells could be identified at the bottom of the glands. The pyloric glands contained parietal cells as fundic glands. At 13-14 week the muscularis mucosa appeared and the wall of stomach formed definitively as the adult. A few argyrophil cells in antrum and fundus were found at 12-week fetus. They scattered in the surface epithelium and concentrated in the lower portion of the glands. The argyrophil cells were round, pyramidal or spindle in shape. More argyrophil ceils were found in the antrum from 14-week on. At 18-week, the argyrophil cells were most numerous. Some cells possessed processes extending to the basement membrane or parietal cells. Between 15-30 weeks various shaped EC cells in fundus were found, with some open-type endocrine cells. G cells in antrum were mostly rounded and often in groups at 13,16 and 21 week. Developing G cells were observed under EM.
