Journal of Practical Stomatology 2010;26(1):43-46
Objective: To investigate the effects of surface sealing on the shear bond strength(SBS) of the brackets. Methods: Twenty extracted premolars for orthodontics were cut into the buccofacial teeth pieces and etched by Transbond~TM Plus self-etching primers for 30 seconds firstly, then divided into two groups with 10 teeth pieces in each group randomly. ① experiment group, the buccal surface of the enamel was sealed with Filtek Flow 1400A3 flowable composite resin before bracket bonding;②control group, the bracket was bonded to the buccal surface of the enamel directly. All specimens were stored in deionized water at 37 ℃ for 48 h, thermocycled for 1 000 times at 30-second intervals between 5 ℃ and 55 ℃ water baths, and debonded with a universal testing machine. The amounts of resin remaining on the teeth pieces after debonding by using the resin remnant index (RRI), which were examined under 10×magnification stereo-microscope. Results: The SBS(MPa) between experiment group and control group was 8.08±1.38, 8.34±1.37 respectively, whereas the RRI was 2.80±1.03, 3.20±1.03 respectively. The SBS, RRI between experimental group and control group revealed no statistically significant differences. Conclusion: Surface sealing shows adequate bond strength, which is considered a clinically acceptable bond strength. The debonding of bracket is not affected by the surface sealing.

3.The clinical analysis and the evaluation of image detections in diagnosing Takayasu′s arteritis
Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2003;0(07):-
Objective To analyze the clinical features of Takayasu′s arteritis (TA) and to evaluate the usefulness of 2D color Doppler flow imaging (2D CDFI) and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) in diagnosing TA.Methods Fifty eight patients with TA were analyzed. In 26 cases, the 2D CDFI findings were compared with that of DSA.Results ① One hundred and eighty two peripheral arteries were involved in 58 patients including 176 arteries with stenosis or occlusion, mainly with aortic arch syndrome and left side involved.② Compared with DSA,2D CDFI had a higher sensitivity (88%) in diagnosing stenosis and occlusion of vessel cavity in aorta and its main branches, and had a positive predictive value of 100% and anegative predictive value of 0% respectively. Conclusion 2D CDFI has some outstaning features as non invading, safety, cheapness and so on in diagnosing TA,compared with DSA that is usually used as "the gold standard" for the definitive diagnosis of this disease.2D CDFI is able to depict vessel wall thickening, which is a major pathologic feature of the disease and it is suitable for long term repeated follow up.
4.Comparative study of 99Tcm-HL91 and 99Tcm-MIBI imaging in experimental tumor and inflammation models
Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine 2001;21(2):103-105
Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of 99Tcm-HL91 in experimental tumor and inflammation models comparing with 99Tcm-MIBI. Methods Three kinds of solid neoplasm bearing mice (Ehrlich carcinoma bearing mice, H22 carcinoma bearing mice and human ovarian COC1 neoplasm bearing nude mice) and two inflammation models (chemical and bacterial inflammation) underwent static whole body planar imaging at 1 and 4 hours after injection of 99Tcm-HL91. Two kinds of neoplasm bearing mice (Ehrlich carcinoma bearing mice,H22 carcinoma bearing mice) and two inflammation models (chemical and bacterial inflammation) underwent static planar imaging after injection of 99Tcm-MIBI, at early phase (10~20 minutes) and delayed phase (2 h). All of the mice were sacrificed at 4 h. The tumors, or inflammatory lesions, blood and contralateral normal muscles served as controls were removed, weighted and the radioactivity was measured. ROIs were drawn around tumor, inflammatory lesions and contralateral muscles in planar images, and the radioactivity ratios of target (tumor or inflammatory lesions)-to-blood (T/B), target-to non target (contralateral muscles) i.e. T/NT were calculated. Results Neoplasms were clearly visible in planar images at 1 and 4 h after injection of 99Tcm-HL91 in all tumor models. At the same time inflammatory lesions could not be seen clearly. Neoplasms were seen in delayed phase in 99Tcm-MIBI group, but it was not easy to distinguish them from inflammation. The T/B ratios and T/NT ratios of 99Tcm-HL91 tumor model groups were significantly higher than that of 99Tcm-MIBI tumor model groups. The T/NT ratios of tumors were significantly higher than that of inflammatory lesions in 99Tcm-HL91 groups. Conclusion Compared with 99Tcm-MIBI imaging, 99Tcm-HL91 is of much more diagnostic value in detection of certain solid neoplasms, and can distinguish neoplasm from inflammation.
5.Effects of DDX family on cancer development and progression
International Journal of Surgery 2017;44(5):350-353,封4
DEAD box family, characterized by the conserved motif D (Asp)-E (Glu)-A (Ala)-D (Asp),are putative RNA helicases, which participate in all cellular processes regulated by RNAs.Studies show that there are examples of dysregulation of DDX family expression in various types of cancer. They are involved in the occurrence and evolution of tumor, and take part in tumor cell proliferation, apoptosis, cycle, invasion, metastasis and metabolism, which can be acted as new molecular markers for the diagnosis of tumor, the evaluation of malignancy and the prediction of clinical prognosis and also provide new potential molecular targets for tumor therapy. Here,we reviewed the structure, biochemical function and the relationship with tumor of DDX family.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(08):-
Objective To review the progresses in epidemiology worldwide, and to summarize the achievements in military epidemiology in recent five years,so as to provide an orientation of development of epidemiology in the future. Methods Research articles in the field of epidemiology published were retrieved by information research method. The progress in basic theory, research methods and field application of epidemiology were summarized and the developmental tendency of the subject was analyzed. Results As a basic subject of preventive medicine, epidemiology had made rapid progress in principles and study methods in recent years, and played an important role in diseases prevention and control. The advances in epidemiology mainly encompassed three aspects. Firstly, the study field had extended from only focusing on human diseases to human health and all health-related public health events. Secondly, several branches of epidemiology developed quickly, including field epidemiology, macroepidemiology, fundamental epidemiology and human genome epidemiology. The related study methods had been used for investigating the risk factors of diseases, controlling disease epidemics, decreasing impact of health events, and evaluating the effects of intervention. Thirdly, many new methods and technologies, such as molecular biological technologies and spatial information technologies, had been applied in epidemiological researches. Military epidemiology had obtained remarkable achievements in surveillance of diseases as well as epidemiological studies and prevention of common infectious diseases, natural focus diseases, injury and mental diseases in the armed forces. Conclusions In future, infectious disease epidemiology is still the most important subject in military epidemiology. More attention should be given to noninfectious diseases, especially traumas and mental health problems of the servicemen. Also, introduction of advanced technologies and methods will be helpful for prevention and control of related diseases.
