Objective To establish the preparation method of Xiao' er Jiere hollow type suppository and determination method of the dissolubility.Methods Xiao' er Jiere hollow type suppository and ordinary suppository were prepared.With bacalin and chlorogenic acid as the standards,the in-vitro dissolution test and HPLC method were applied to determine the accumulated dissolution rate of bacalin and chlorogenic acid in two different types of suppository.Results The linearity of bacalin was in the range of 0.040 ? g～ 0.320 ? g(r=0.999 7)and that of chlorogenic acid was in the range of 0.064～ 0.512 ? g(r=0.999 8).The accumulated dissolution rate of the hollow type suppository was over 97 % in 30min.Conclusion Drug release rate of hollow type suppository is higher than the ordinary suppository.The method is stable and accurate.

Objective To explore the relevance of the microRNA-192 (miR-192) levels and prognosis in patients with diabetic nephropathy (DN).Methods A total of 59 cases with duration of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) ≥10 years from January 2010 to July 2011 were retrospectively admitted.The miR-192 levels were determined after admission,and other relevant clinical data were collected.And the patients were followed-up for 24 months.According to the patient's prognosis,the patients were divided into DN group(20 cases) and non-DN group(39 cases),and the relevant information was analyzed in two groups.Results The miR-192 levels in DN group were lower than those in non-DN group[(4.47 ± 2.27) μ g/L vs.(7.28 ± 2.39) μ g/L],and there was significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that hypertension history,smoking history,high glycosylated hemoglobin,low fasting C-peptide,low 24 h urine protein,low miR-192 level,high body mass index was the independent risk factors of prognosis of T2DM (P ＜ 0.05).The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was 0.697 in miR-192 levels individual predicting progression to DN stage,0.823 in six others without miR-192.After joining seven indicators forecast area under the curve increased significantly(0.856,95％ CI:0.832-0.904).The miR-192 levels 5.14 μ g/L was the best predictive value to the critical value of community,and the patients were divided into miR-192 ＜ 5.14 μ g/L group (28 cases) and miR-192 ≥ 5.14 μ g/L group (31 cases).The number of progression to DN within 24 months in miR-192 ＜ 5.14 μg/L group was more than that in miR-192 ≥5.14 μ g/L group (16/28 vs.4/31,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions A reduced level of miR-192 is an independent risk factor that can lead to poor prognosis in patients with DN,and can predict adverse outcomes in patients with T2DM effectively.

Objective To investigate the influence of super fine crushing technique on dissolution rate of Sunshang Capsule (SC). Methods With the dissolution of active components and notoginsengside as the markers, the dissolution rate in Sunshang Capsule and Sunshang powder which were prepared by super fine crushing method and fine crushing method respectively was compared by TLC and HPLC. Results The stain of Sunshang Capsule was bigger and darker than that of Sunshang Powder, time-limited dissolution of SC was 4.66 %higher and the content of notoginsengside R1 was 6 %higher than those of Sunshang Powder. Conclusion Super fine crushing technique can increase the dissolution rate of SC and this will supply evidence for the process of SC preparation.

In this paper, according to the requirement of the focused sound field measurement, a focused sound field measurement system was established based on the LabVIEW virtual instrument platform. The system can automatically search the focus position of the sound field, and adjust the scanning path according to the size of the focal region. Three-dimensional sound field scanning time reduced from 888 hours in uniform step to 9.25 hours in variable step. The efficiency of the focused sound field measurement was improved. There is a certain deviation between measurement results and theoretical calculation results. Focal plane--6 dB width difference rate was 3.691%, the beam axis--6 dB length differences rate was 12.937%.

BACKGROUND: Nickel-chromium ceramic alloy with well anti-causticity has been widely used in clinic; however, it should be paid much attention to the toxic and side effects of the released nickel and glucinium ions. Therefore, studies about modifying alloy component, enhancing physical and chemical performance, and improving biocompatibility are hot topics recently. OBJECTIVE: To measure the in vitro cytotoxicity of self-made nickel-chromium ceramic alloy comparing with nickel-chromium alloy and pure titanium metal. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A contrast observational experiment was performed at Central Laboratory of China Medical University from May to December 2006. MATERIALS: L-929 cells at logarithmic phase were used in this study. Self-made nickel-chromium ceramic alloy was provided by Metal Institute of Chinese Academy of Science, pure titanium was provided by Matsukaze Japan Co., Ltd., and nickel-chromium alloy was provided by Heraeus Kulzer Dental Co., Ltd. METHODS: L-929 cells were assigned into nickel-chromium ceramic alloy, pure titanium, nickel-chromium alloy, positive control, and negative control groups. The cells were cultured in 96-well culture plate. Every five wells were randomly selected from each group, and 12 wells were used for the duplication. Cell suspension (100 μL) at concentration of 1.0×108/L was added in each well. Leaching liquor (100 μL) was added in self-made nickel-chromium ceramic alloy, pure titanium alloy, and nickel-chromium alloy groups, respectively, lead leaching liquor (100 μL) was added in positive control group to make the final concentration at 50%, and RPMI 1640 culture solution (100 μL) was added in the negative control group. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Absorbance was measured at day 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 using MTT colorimetric assay to calculate relative growth rate. RESULTS: There were no significant differences in absorbance between three metal groups and negative control group (P > 0.05), but there were significant differences in absorbance between three metal groups and positive control group (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Cell growth rate was > 100% and cytotoxicity was grade 0 in the pure titanium group; while, cell growth rate ranged from 86.36% to 99.49% and cytotoxicity was grade 1 in both self-made nickel-chromium ceramic alloy and nickel-chromium alloy groups. At day 3 after culture, cytotoxicity was grade 2 in the positive control group. CONCLUSION: Self-made nickel-chromium ceramic alloy has a little cytotoxicity and requires for the clinical application.

BACKGROUND: There have been no reports in CNKI database addressing the cellular apoptosis caused by stainless steel materials used in the dental magnetic attachment. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of 3 stainless steel materials used in the dental magnetic attachment, cobalt-chromium alloy, titanium alloy, and austenitic stainless steel on L-929 cell apoptosis. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A comparative observation was performed at the Central Laboratory of China Medical University between June and December 2007. MATERIALS: Mouse L-929 fibroblasts in logarithmic growth phase were provided by Institute of Tumor, First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, China. Cobalt-chromium (Co-Cr) alloy was purchased from Heraeus-Kulzer Corporation, China. Titanium alloy was obtained from Morita Company, Japan. Austenitio stainless steel was provided by Institute of Mental Research Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. METHODS: The leaching liquor of Co-Cr alloy, titanium alloy, and austenitic stainless steel was made by culturing 3 kinds of round-slice mental materials in 24-well plate with RPMI-1640 medium at 0.1 mL/cm2 (leaching liquor volume: specimen surface area). L-929 fibroblasts were divided into 5 groups: Co-Cr alloy, titanium alloy, austenitic stainless steel, negative control, and positive control. The Co-Cr alloy, titanium alloy, and austenitic stainless steel groups were cultured with corresponding leaching liquor (250, 500, and 1 000 g/L). Cells from the negative control and positive control groups were cultured with simple RPMI 1640 medium and 100 mg/L mitomycin-treated L-929 cells. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Following 24-hour culture, the effects of 3 kinds of leaching liquor (at different concentrations) on L-929 fibroblasts were examined through the use of flow cytometer. RESULTS: There was significant difference in cellular apoptosis between Co-Cr alloy, titanium alloy, and austenitic stainless steel groups at the same concentration or between different concentrations for the same dental material (P < 0.01), but no significant difference existed between titanium-alloy (250 g/L) and negative control groups (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: Co-Cr alloy, titanium alloy, and austenitic stainless steel have apparent influence on cellular apoptosis. The apoptosis rate is the greatest in the Co-Cr alloy group, followed by austenitic stainless steel group, and lastly titanium alloy group.

Objective To evaluate the effect of surgical treatment in facial nerve paralysis.Methods Clinical data of 29 cases in facial nerve paralysis were retrospectively analyzed.All of the 29 cases of facial paralysis,18 cases is the suppurative otitis media,9 cases is the temporal bone fracture,2 cases is the neoplasms of the temporal bone.The 29 cases of facial nerve paralysis were surgical treatment.8 cases by vertical segment or horizontal segment of facial nerve decompression,19 cases by the stylomastoid foramen to the geniculate ganglion of facial nerve decompression,2 cases by the itratemporal course of facial nerve decompression.1 case was underwent end-to-end anastomosis,2 cases of the greater auricular or the sural nerve graft for repairing facial nerve defect.All data were analyzed with Rank sum test.Results Makes a follow-up visit for 6～18 months,the facial nerve function(House-Brackman grading system)before the technique Ⅱ 6.9%,Ⅲ17.2%,Ⅳ34.5%,Ⅴ 31.0%,Ⅵ 10.3%,after the technique,restores Ⅰ 6.9%,Ⅱ27.6%,Ⅲ27.6%,Ⅳ 24.1%,Ⅴ 13.8%,statistics analysis facial nerve function restoreS has the significance difference(P＜0.005).Conclusions The facial nerve decompression and the nerve graft are useful method to treat facial paralysis.Surgical treatment of facial paralysis is satisfied in the suppurative otitis media and the temporal bone fracture.

Methods: 60 Healthy male mice were divided into normal group, chronic bronchitism model group, Guilong Kechuanning group, high and low dosage of tonifying kindey and eliminating sputum groups at random, each 12. The supramolecular inclusion properties of beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) and resveratrol (Res) were investigated using drug-protein interaction spectroscopy method. The differences between the results of interaction spectroscopy method and the results of classical method were compared. The total energy of the stable inclusion of cyclodextrin-resveratrol was calculated by Gaussian theory calculation. The stable inclusions in the process of interaction between resveratrol/inclusion complex and bovine lactgoferrin (BLF) were studied by molecular modeling. The results showed that the interaction spectroscopy method could explain the property of the inclusion in a more sensitive manner, it also interpreted the conveying mechanism of BLF binding with inclusion complex. The molecular modeling result showed consistent results with Gaussian theory calculation; both of the two methods obtained the stable configuration of beta-CD-Res inclusion. The relevant result provided an experimental consequence for the pharmacology research of beta-cyclodextrin-resveratrol inclusion complex as well as offering a new reference to the future research of supramolecular inclusion compound.
