BACKGROUND: It has been reported that 26-1 ferrite stainless steel has excellent biological characteristics, but the report of its biocompatibility is rare, especially the evaluation of biocompatibility by apoptosis mechanism. OBJECTIVE: To study the pattern of call death induced by magnetic-attached 26-1 ferrite stainless steel and to evaluate whether 26-1 ferrite stainless steal meats the biocompatibility in clinical application. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A contrast observational study at the level of molecular biology was performed at Central Laboratory of China Medical University from June 2004 to June 2005.MATERIALS: 26-1 ferrite stainless steel (Fe - 26% Cr - 1% Mo), Tilite [70% Ni - 16% Cr - (4%-6%) Ti - ether alloy elements] and Co-Cr alloy (Co - 30% Cr - 5% Mo) were used in this study. Embed and cast metal materials then were cut into roll discs whose diameters were 12 mm.METHODS: ① The fibroblast L929 cells were co-cultured with the three materials, while cells in the negative control group were cultured in RPMI1640 media. At 18 and 24 hours after culture, types of cell death were quantitatively detected using fluorescein isothiocyanate and propidium iodide (PI) staining. ② Apoptosis rate and cycle distribution of L929 cells were detected using flow cytometry and Pl staining at 24 hours after respectively culturing in 25%, 50%, and 100% leaching liquor. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Ratio between apoptosis and necrosis of L929 cells induced by different materials; apoptotic rate and cycle distribution of L929 cells.RESULTS: All the three materials could decrease the survival rate of L929 cells: in particular, there was no significant difference in necrosis rate between different concentration material groups and negative control group, suggesting that call apoptosis was the major factor to induce cytopathic effect, but there was no significant difference between the three material groups. Apoptosis of L929 cells indicated a great fashion of time- and concentration-dependence. There was no significant difference in apoptosis rate of L929 cells betwean the three material groups.CONCLUSION: Cell apoptosis is a major pattern induced by 26-1 ferrite stainless steel which meets the biocompatibility as a clinical material and can be safely applied in dinic.

Foxp3 is a novel member of forkhead and winged-helix transcription factor family.Foxp3 is specifically expressed in CD4+ CD25 + regulatory T cells,and Foxp3 is a critical regulator of CD4+ CD25 + regulatory T cell development and function maintain.With the development of molecular biology techniques,the understanding of Foxp3's structure and function is increasingly clear.Foxp3 plays an important role in the lung cancer's development,clinical treatment and prognosis.Thus to clarify the regulatory mechanism of Foxp3 expression is beneficial for the explanation of lung cancer's immunal environment and the establishment of a better immunal therapeutic regimen,so as to provide profound significance for lung cancer's prevention and treatment.

The supramolecular inclusion properties of beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) and resveratrol (Res) were investigated using drug-protein interaction spectroscopy method. The differences between the results of interaction spectroscopy method and the results of classical method were compared. The total energy of the stable inclusion of cyclodextrin-resveratrol was calculated by Gaussian theory calculation. The stable inclusions in the process of interaction between resveratrol/inclusion complex and bovine lactgoferrin (BLF) were studied by molecular modeling. The results showed that the interaction spectroscopy method could explain the property of the inclusion in a more sensitive manner, it also interpreted the conveying mechanism of BLF binding with inclusion complex. The molecular modeling result showed consistent results with Gaussian theory calculation; both of the two methods obtained the stable configuration of beta-CD-Res inclusion. The relevant result provided an experimental consequence for the pharmacology research of beta-cyclodextrin-resveratrol inclusion complex as well as offering a new reference to the future research of supramolecular inclusion compound.

The paper gives an account of the background, feasible model, content and procedure of the reform in community health services in Zhabei District of Shanghai and the content, method and preliminary conclusions of periodic evaluations of the reform. Taking the management system as its starting point, selecting the model of delegation management, and focusing on the basic idea of “separation of two powers and delegation of three powers”, the reform went ahead on two fronts: the health bureau and the centers for community health services. Experts making external periodic evaluations hold that the adoption of delegation management contributes to innovations in the internal operating systems, the improvement of community health services and the enhancement of economic compensation capability. Objective To observe the bacterioflora of bile and it' s drugs sensitivity in patients with bile duct diseases to serve as a guidance in medication. Methods Bile of 156 cases of patients with biliary disease was collected and cultured respectively during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ER-CP) by deep cannulation and sucking out bile through the catheter. Forty eight blood samples among them were cultured simultaneously. Ten kinds of drug papers were used to investigate the bacterial sensitivity. The data were analysed statistically- Results Bacteria positive rate of these 156 bile samples was 62. 8% , including Gram - negative bacteria (81.6% ) and Gram - positive bacteria (18. 4% ). These bacteria consist of Pseudomonas aeruginosa (35. 1% ) , Escherichia coli(22. 8% ) , Streptococcus faecalis (16.7%) ,Entero bacilliaerogenes(7. 9% ) ,Klebsiella(7. 0% ) , Citrobacter(6. 1% ) ,Acinetobacler lwqffi(2. 6% ) and Staphylo-coccus aureus( 1. 7% ). The bacteria positive rate was only 4. 2% in the 48 blood samples. Drug sensitive rates of bacteria against 10 kinds of drugs were changed in recent years. The result indicated that the sensitive rates of bacteria were significantly higher in ciprofloxacin, fortum, cefoperazone, sulbactam + cefoperazone and cilastatin than those in ampicillin,azlocillin, cefazolin sodium, eefuroxime(P

Objective To study the clinical effects of human amniotic membrane transplantation loaded with autologons marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) in treatment of pterygium patient. Methods Totally 10 patient (10 eyes) with primary giant pterygium aged 42 ～60 years(7 males and 3 females) were enrolled. All patients were informed consents. Bone marrow was sterilely collected by bone marrow aspiration. MSCs were harvested, purified and cultured. At the third passage,MSCs were incubated in amniotic membrane. After pterygium resection,amniotic membrane patch with cells surface upward was covered on surface of exposed sclera. Another simple amniotic membrane was sutured to protect transplanted cells. Results 1 ～ 3 days after dissection of corneal epithelial area was repaired,a week around later,migration of conjunctival epithelial gradually grew,about 10 ～ 14 days, absorption and fusion of amniotic membrane began. Follow-up of 6 months to 3 years, there was no recurrence. Conclusion After amniotic membrane loaded with MSCs were transplanted to the ocular surface ,corneal epithelium repaired rapidly ,transplanted amniotic membrane and conjunctival integrated, conjunctival irritation was few, ocular surface scar was light, the pterygium was no recurrence.

Fast track surgery(Frs) is an idea and theory which has been highlighted by more and more clinic doctors and scholars, and widely used in the surgical operations recently. ~TS has greatly changed the mode of clinic therapy, ameliorated the velocity of the rehabilitation and prognosis after operation, and improved the quali- ty of life and the therapeutic effect. We reviewed the application of FTS in the surgery in this article.

Interleukin-6(IL-6)is associated with cancer staging, survival, apoptosis and the sensitivity to chemotherapeutic drugs, and it is overexpressed in the cancer tissue and serum of cancer patient.IL-6 Can regulate proliferation and differentiation of cancer cells through IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway. Therefore, blocking IL-6/STAT3 signaling pathway has potential therapeutic implications for cancer.
