Objective To analyze the present situation of medical service prices in Beijing,and provide scientific basis in order to carry out the reform of medical service prices of the city.Methods Literature review method to collate the administration policy of medical service price in Beijing,and the method of statistical analysis to compare the Beijing medical service prices with 1 9 other provinces across the country.Results The number of medical service projects (4 613 )in Beijing is higher than the national average (4 507),but the average medical service prices (423 yuan)in Beijing is lower than the national average (609 yuan),and medical service price and the regional economic level has no statistical significance Conclusion Medical service prices of Beijing need to be adjusted,and a reform of medical service prices in Beijing should be implemented by the Development and Reform Commission,Health and Family Planning Commission.

The launch of the clinical trial registry is a milestone event in the field of clinical research in the 21st century that has played an important role in safeguarding the openness,transparency,ethics,data sharing and process control of clinical research.The current clinical research registry is mainly aimed at clinical trial research with lack of professional registration system for security and other real events of observational study.In order to improve the level of clinical safety research,promote transparency and process quality control,we proactively proposed and established a registration platform for clinical safety research of traditional Chinese medicine.This paper made a brief introduction hereof.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the correlation between the width of lingual varix and changes of hemodynamics of portal system in patients with primary liver cancer so as to supply the data for the forecast of portal hypertension by observing lingual varix. METHODS: The diameter of lingual vein (Dlv) was measured by vernier caliper as dependent variable, and the diameters and indexes of hemodynamics of portal vessels were measured by Doppler as independent variables, then a multipe stepwise analysis was performed. RESULTS: The diameters of portal vein (Dpv) and splenic vein (Dsv) entered the formula Dlv (mm) = 0.185 + 0.311 Dsv (mm) + 0.236 Dpv (mm) when the entry and removal values were alpha(in)=0.10 and alpha(out)=0.15, respectively. CONCLUSION: The width of lingual vein is closely correlated with the diameters of portal vein and splenic vein in patients with primary liver cancer.

ObjectiveTo research the metabolism of components in the Radix of Paeonia lactiflora Pall. Methods(①) we established the HPLC fingerprint of water extract of Paeonia lactiflora Pall. and real-time monitored the chemical composition. (②) We established the HPLC fingerprint of rats' serum samples from hepatic portal vein, serum samples from aorta abdominalis and samples of intestinal absorption of Paeonia lactiflora Pall. (③) On this basis, using the established methods, I-IPLC fingerprint spectrum of serum samples,the sample of herb, the sample after intestinal metabolism, rats' serum samples from hepatic portal vein and rats'serum samples from aorta abdominalis were analyzed and compared in order to infer the metabolism of components in the Radix of Paeonia lactiflora Pall. Results24 compositions were detected, seven of which were metabolized by intestinal flora and could not be absorbed into blood; six of them could not be absorbed directedly into intestinal; eight new compounds were absorbed into blood after bowel metabolism while they were not detected in water extract in Paeonia lactiflora Pall. ConclusionWe could infer the metabolic processes of chemicals of Paeonia lactiflora Pall. in oral administration with this method.

The methylation status of GNAS1 gene in pseudohypoparathyroidism type Ib patients was detected by methylation-specific PGR technique. There was an abnormal methylation of 1A region in all seven PHPIb patients. Loss of exon 1A methylation (imprinting defect) seems to be the cause of PHPIb.

OBJECTIVETo explore the value of electrocardiographic (ECG) Cornell criteria for detecting left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) in elderly Chinese men.

METHODSSince 1990, 244 autopsies were performed in our hospital in elderly men, LVH was determined in these autopsy hearts and correlated to ECG LVH signs recorded within 3 months before death according to Cornell (SV3+RaVL) and Sokolow-Lyon criteria (SV1+RV5 or RV6). The reference value of Cornell criteria was obtained based on values from autopsied healthy hearts, the sensitivity and specificity of Cornell and Sokolow-Lyon criteria for detecting left ventricular hypertrophy in these elderly men were calculated.

RESULTSThere were significantly correlations between QRS amplitudes of Cornell and Sokolow-Lyon criteria and autopsy left ventricular wall thickness in these hearts. The reference value of Cornell criteria (SV3+RaVL) was 2.9 mV. The sensitivity of Sokolow-Lyon and Cornell criteria for detecting LVH was 25.4% and 34.3% (P<0.05 vs Sokolow-Lyon criteria), respectively.

CONCLUSIONVoltage (SV3+RaVL)>or=2.9 mV might be a suitable diagnostic value for detecting left ventricular hypertrophy in Chinese elderly men.
