Objective To observe the effect of Motomed Gracile on spastic cerebral palsy. Methods 48 cerebral palsy children were divided into two groups: intervention group (n=24) and control group (n=24). The children in the control group accepted comprehensive rehabilitation, while the children in the intervention group were trained with Motomed Gracile in addition. They were evaluated with Ashworth Assessment and manual muscle testing (MMT) 6 months after treatment. Results The scores of intervention group improved more significantly than those in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Motomed Gracile can facilitate the recovery of children with spastic cerebral palsy.

This experiment was carried out to make an exaluation on the non-invasive near-infrared detection of early hepatocirrhosis. The model of early hepatocirrhosis was established by injecting carbon tetrachloride in mice. Blood and oxygen content in liver tissue were detected with Runman System. The undulated forms of blood and oxygen variation were extracted and analyzed under the software MATLAB. Non-invasive near-infrared detection was found to react sensitively to the variation of the blood and oxygen content in the early hepatocirrhosis. The rhythm of the undulated forms of blood and oxygen in the early hepatocirrhosis was irregular. The main frequency peak of auto-power spectrum was found to move back to the rang 1.0-1.5 Hz and multi-peak was seen. These show that the non-invasive near-infrared detection is of some value in detecting early hepatocirrhosis.

Electrolyte disturbance was prominent in patients with severe acute mountain sickness. In these patients hypoxia caused water and salt retension together with vasoactive substances and excessive free radicals might play important roles in the development of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS). More attention should be given to electrolyte monitoring in dealing with these severe mountain sickness in field.

The main purpose of this paper is to describe the design and development of the near-infrared blood-oxygen monitor which is based on the theory of detecting the blood-oxygen parameters of tissue by near-infrared, and the monitor can detect the blood-oxygen parameters of two sides of the local brain tissue. The monitor uses two wavelength ultra-high light LED as lamp-house, and two sensors detect the light scattered by two sides of the local brain tissue, which make the monitor achieve the function of dual detector. The appearance of the monitor's detector is designed to reduce effectively the noise brought by the background and alleviate the discomfort feelings of the patient. At the same time, this apparatus can monitor continuously the brain blood-oxygen parameters of the patients in real time, and output the curves of the blood-oxygen and oxygen concentration of two sides of brain tissue. At last, the biological model experiments and the tests in clinical setting validate the monitor.

Marked by the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the CPC, Shanghai health care started a journey of reform and opening up as with other sectors. This essay reviews various stages Shanghai health care experienced and the achievements for the last 30 years since reform and opening up, and analyzes the challenges Shanghai health care faces currently. On this basis, the essay summaries the experiences and lessons learned from Shanghai health care reform and development.
