Objective: To investigate the feasibility and accuracy of sentinel lymph node biopsy(SLN) following neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Methods:Sentinel lymph node biopsy was evaluated following two or three cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with pharmorubicin /cyclophosphamide/5-FU(CEF,48 patients) or pharmorubicin /cyclophosphamide / taxotere(CET,12 patients). Two ml 1% methylene blue was subcutaneously injected at 4 sites of the skin over the tumor before radical operation.Pathohistological results were assessed for all the specimen including blue lymph node and other axillary lymph node(ALND). Results:Among the 66 patients SLN was identified in 60 of them(90%).Residual metastatic disease was identified in 23 cases on SLN,including 15 positive and 8 negative node on ALND,37 cases were completely negative on SLN including 35 negative and 2 positive node on ALND,and SLN was falsely negative in 2 cases(8%).Conclusion:The success rate of sentinel node identification and the predict ability of the SLN for the pathologic status of the adjacent non-SLNs do not seem to be altered after neoadjuvant therapy.

Objective To explore the telomere length (TL) in buccal cells and its possible implications for long-lived families of Zhuang nationality in Bama area of Guangxi. Methods Relative TL in buccal cells from Bama long-lived families (BLF,n=1250) was determined by real time PCR and compared between Bama non-long-lived families (BNLF,n=556) and Pingguo longlived families (PLF,n=630).All participants were Zhuang ethnic. Results The TL in buccal cells was negatively correlated with age (R=-0.215,P=0.000) and was independent of sex in all subjects (n=2436).There were no significant differences in TL between males and females in different of ages in BLF (all P>0.05).Similar tendency was observed in most but not all age groups in the two other families. The TL was significantly longer in BLF aged over 65 years (the first offspring of the longlived individual) than in BNLF aged over 65 years (1.969 vs.1.622,P=0.004) and the TL of BLF aged over 90 years was comparable to that of BNLF aged over 65 years (1.662 vs.1.622,P=0.955),which indicating that the offspring of long-lived individuals inherited longer TL from their parental generation. Conclusions Telomere length is shorten with aging in long-lived families in Bama area. The TL of BLF has a tendency of inheritance, which may be one of the mechanisms of longevity in Bama area.

Objective:
To investigate the mediating effects of resilience and emotion regulation on family cumulative risk and positive coping style among primary and middle school students, so as to provide insights into promoting psychological health among them.
Methods:
The primary and middle school students from three counties (districts) of Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region were selected through the stratified cluster random sampling method. Resilience, emotion regulation, family cumulative risk and positive coping style were investigated using the Resilience Scale for Chinese adolescent, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Chinese family Assessment Instrument, and Simple Coping Strategies Questionnaire, respectively. Mediating effects of resilience and emotion regulation on family cumulative risk and positive coping style were examined using Process macro program.
Results:
Totally 1 076 questionnaires were allocated, and 1 006 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective rate of 93.49%. There were 515 boys, accounting for 51.19%. The median age was 13 (interquartile range, 1) years. The mean scores of resilience, emotion regulation and positive coping style were (3.36±0.63), (2.26±0.56) and (1.85±0.39) points, respectively. The median family cumulative risk index was 0 (interquartile range, 0). The results of mediating effects showed that family cumulative risk had a direct negative effect on positive coping style (β=-0.037, 95%CI: -0.059 to -0.014, P=0.011), and also had an indirect negative effect on positive coping style through psychological resilience (β=-0.029, 95%CI: -0.041 to -0.017, P=0.006) as a mediator or through psychological resilience and emotion regulation (β=-0.002, 95%CI: -0.004 to -0.001, P=0.001) as a chain mediator. The mediating effect of resilience contributed 44% to the total effect, while the chain mediating effect of resilience and emotion regulation contributed 3%.
Conclusion
Resilience and emotional regulation serve as negative mediators between family cumulative risk and positive coping style among middle and primary school students.

OBJECTIVE: To study improvement effects of ethanol extract from Taxillus sutchuenensis on blood glucose level, liver and renal complications in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) model mice and its mechanism. METHODS: T2DM model was established by high-glucose and high-fat feed combined with intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin. Totally 60 T2DM model mice were randomly divided into model control group (normal saline), positive control group [metformin, 150 mg/(kg·d)] and T. sutchuenensis ethanol extract high-dose, medium-dose and low-dose groups [30, 15, 7.5 g/(kg·d), by crude drug], with 12 mice in each group. Other 12 normal mice were included in blank control group (normal saline). After given drug solution or normal saline for consecutive 28 d, the serum levels of FBG, FINS, IL-2, IL-4, IL-12, IFN-γ, Scr, BUN, ALT and AST were detected; 24 h urine was collected to detect the Ucr levels. The insulin sensitivity index (ISI) and insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) were calculated. HE staining was used to observe the pathological change of hepatocytes. The levels of Bcl-2 and Bax in liver tissue as well as the levels of TLR4 and NF-κB p65 in renal tissue were detected. RESULTS: Compared with blank control group, the serum levels of FBG, FINS, IL-4, ALT, AST, BUN, Scr and HOMA-IR value were increased significantly in model control group, while the levels of Ucr, IL-2, IL-12, IFN-γ and ISI value were decreased significantly (P<0.01). The hepatocytes showed obvious pathological changes. Bcl-2 level and Bcl-2/Bax of liver tissue were decreased significantly, while Bax level was increased significantly (P<0.01). The levels of TLR4 and NF-κB p65 in renal tissue were increased significantly (P<0.01). Compared with model control group, histopathological changes of liver were relieved significantly in T. sutchuenensis ethanol extract groups. Except that there was no significant difference in serum level of IFN-γ and level of NF-κB p65 in renal tissue in T. sutchuenensis ethanol extract low-dose group, other indexes were improved significantly (P<0.01 or P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS: T. sutchuenensis ethanol extract can improve high blood glucose, liver and renal complications, and protect liver and renal function in T2DM model mice. The mechanism may be associated with improving immunofunction, up-regulating anti-apoptosis factors, down-regulating the expression of apoptosis-promoting and inflammation- promoting factors so as to maintain the functional status of hepatocytes and reduce the degree of renal cell damage.

Objective:
To investigate the efficacy and safety of IA regimen which contains idarubicin (IDA) 8 mg/m2, 10 mg/m2 or 12 mg/m2 as induction chemotherapy for adult patients with de-novo acute myeloid leukemia (AML) .
Methods:
A total of 1 215 newly diagnosed adult AML patients, ranging from May 2011 to March 2015 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University and other 36 clinical blood centers in China were enrolled in the multicenter, single-blind, non-randomized, clinical controlled study. To compare the response rate of complete remission (CR) , adverse events between different dose idarubicin combined with cytarabine (100 mg/m2) as induction chemotherapy in newly diagnosed patients of adult AML.
Results:
Of 1 207 evaluable AML patients were assigned to this analysis of CR rate. The CR rates of IDA 8 mg/m2 group, IDA 10 mg/m2 group and IDA 12 mg/m2 group were 73.6% (215/292) , 84.1% (662/787) and 86.7% (111/128) , respectively (
