4.Angiotensin Ⅱ Receptor Blockers and Neuroprotection
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2008;16(3):193-196
Angiotensin Ⅱ receptor blockers(ARBs)decrease blood pressure, reverse vascular remodeling, and activate angiotensinⅡsubtype 2(AT2)receptors in order to improve the levels of angiotensinⅡ(AngⅡ),dilate blood vessels, protect against proliferation, and regulate lipid by blocking angiotcnsinⅡtype 1(AT1)receptors.Further understanding the action mech-anism of ARB in neuroprotection may provide a new idea for the treatment of ischemic stroke in clinical practice.
5.Effect of Niaoduqing granules on chronic renal failure in patients with blood lipid and blood homocysteine
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2015;(14):2122-2124
Objective To observe the effect of Niaoduqing granules on chronic renal failure in patients with blood lipid and blood homocysteine. Methods Patients with chronic renal failure were divided into observation group and control group by number table method, two groups of patients were both given low salt, low fat and high quality low protein diet, controlling blood pressure and blood sugar, correcting anemia, correcting calcium and phosphorus meta-bolic disorders, correcting of acidosis, while patients with combined infection were given positive anti infection treat-ment.Observation group was treated with Niaoduqing granules on that basis. The changes of triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol( HDL-C) ,total cholesterol( CHO) ,low-density lipoprotein( LDL-C) ,and plasma homocysteine( Hcy) were observed before and after treatment in the two groups. Results After treatment,CHO,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C, Hcy in the control group were respectively (4.83 ±0.22)mmol/L,(2.21 ±0.30)mmol/L,(0.69 ±0.11)mmol/L, (4.30 ±0.32)mmol/L,(24.35 ±7.05)μmol/L,that threre was no significant changes before and after treatment. In the observation group,TG,LDL-C,Hcy were (1.38 ±0.18)mmol/L,(3.29 ±0.13)mmol/L,(14.54 ±3.56)umol/L respectively after treatment, and which were significantly lower than that before treatment ( t=1.45,2.13,4.28,all P<0.05).HDL-C (1.42 ±0.31)mmol/L,were significantly increased after treatment as compared with that before treatment (t=3.88,P<0.05).The difference of Hcy,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C and CHO after treatment was statisti-cally significantin between the two groups (t=1.34,2.08,1.10,3.88,all P<0.05).Conclusion Niaoduqing gran-ules can improve lipid metabolism disorders in patients with chronic renal failure, and can reduce the serum homocys-teine.
6.A Study on the Attitude and its Influencing Factors of Cancer Patients towards Information Disclosure
Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(05):-
Objective: To explore the attitude and its influencing factors of patients with cancer towards information disclosure. Methods: 302 patients with cancer were investigated with self-designed questionnaires. Results: The patients' attitudes towards Information Disclosure were significantly affected by the gender, marriage status, personality, duration of cancer information, hospitalization experience and funeral experience, with significant statistical differences﹝P
7.Clinical Features and Strategy of Diagnosis and Treatment of the Abdominal Trauma in Elder People
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the clinical features and strategy of diagnosis and treatment of the abdominal trauma in eld er people. Methods Clinical data of 68 elderly patients w ith abdominal trauma were analyzed retrospectively. Results Diagnosis in 35 of 68 cases were confir med within 12 hours after trauma (51.5%). Fifty-eight cases in this group were treated surgically and 10 cases with non-surgical treament. The re were 7 death, the overall mortality was 10.3% . The cause of death was septic shock and multiple organ systemic failure. Conclusion The elder patient with abdominal tra uma has its speciality in clinical and pathophysiological characteristics and is less tolerant to trauma, which easily leads to misdiagnosis or maldiagnosis. T he principle of treatment is to choose positive surgery, to streng then the peri operative management, to protect the function of each important organ, and to pr event the occurrence of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.
8.SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF CHROMIUM, MANGANESE AND COPPER IN SERUM USING FLAMELESS ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROPHOTOMETER
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(04):-
A sensitive method for the determination of Cr, Mn and Cu in serum sample by flameless atomic absorption spectrophotometry is described. It requires only 0.1-0.2 ml serum sample. The method involves low temperature ashing of serum, 2-10 fold dilution with 0.01N HNO3 and injection of 20?l aliquot into graphite furnace. The known amounts of trace metals arc added to different diluted serum samples, and the recovery rates are 90-109%. The coefficients of variance for within-run and day-to-day values are 1.5-2.8% and 2.0-10.0% respectively. The serum Cr, Mn and Cu levels were determined in 79 normal subjects. 80% of the values are distributed within: 0.8-1.45 ?g/ml(Cu), 0.04-0.08 ?g/ml(Mn), 0.009-0.022 ?g/ml(Cr). It is suggested that the method described is available for a mass survey in a short time and is valualole to detect the trace metal concentation in serum in clinical laboratory.
9.Biomarkers of bladder cancer
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(12):-
Bladder cancer is a common tumor with a high rate of recurrence and quick progression. Many biomarkers for the detection of bladder cancer have been identified, but none has been reported to date to have sufficient sensitivity and specificity.Recent researches are concentrated on p53,Rb,Cyclin D,P27kip-1,FGFR3,Cadherin,Survivin,Aurora,MMP,VEGF and DNA Methylation. In spite of their different sensitivities for bladder cancer of different stages or degrees, these biomarkers are valuable for its diagnosis and prognosis.
