1.Acellular dermis combined with sodium hyaluronate in the reconstruction of tendon sheath
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(43):6940-6944
BACKGROUND:Acellular al ogeneic dermis that is replaced by autologous tissue is not considered as foreign body, and can reduce local inflammation and cellinfiltration, to achieve the possibility of permanent retention in the body after reconstruction of the tendon sheath.
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of acellular dermal matrix combined with sodium hyaluronate to prevent adhesiolysis after adhesions of tendon during the procedure of tendon sheath reconstruction.
METHODS:A total of 56 patients who required secondary adhesiolysis to repair tendon adhesions after repair of wrist tendon injury were randomly separated into experimental group (26 cases) and control group (30 cases). Experimental group:after tendon release, the sleeve-shaped acellular dermal matrix with a large diameter than the tendon was sewn into the site of tendon adhesions, 1 cm distant to the distal and proximal ends of non-adhesion tendon, to reconstruct the tendon sheath that was fixed at the both ends of surrounding tissue. Then, the incision was sutured after injection of sodium hyaluronate via the sleeve. Control group:after tendon release, the wound was sutured directly. Al of the patients were fol owed-up for 6 months, to compare the efficacy of tendon release and reoccurrence of adhesions.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:For 51 tendons from 26 patients in the experimental group, valid treatment was in 49 tendons and invalid in 2 tendons, with the effective rate of 96%;for 58 tendons from 30 patients in the control group, effective treatment was in 46 tendons, and invalid in 12 tendons, with the effective rate of 79%. There was a significant difference in the effective rate between the two groups (P<0.05). The reconstruction of tendon sheath using acellular dermal matrix combined with sodium hyaluronate can effectively improve adhesions after adhesiolysis.
2.Vacuum sealing drainage and adsorbing material in treatment of refractoriness wound in 40 cases
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(41):-
A total of 78 patients were recruited from Department of Orthopedics in the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from January to June in 2008.Forty patients admitted in odd day,and they received the therapy of vacuum sealing drainage including vacuum sealing drainage to dress wound and semipermeable film for vacuum aspiration, namely curing group;38 patients' hospital admission time was in even day,and they underwent a common therapy to dress a wound again, namely control group. Two groups of patients were compared addressing the free skin grafting, skin flap transfer or free skin flap transplantation. Results showed that the healing ratio of the curing group was higher,it's infection rate was lower, and the length of hospital stay was also shorter than the control group.Vacuum sealing drainage is a better method in clinical medicine to cure the refractoriness raw surface.

The treatment of wound bacterial infection is an extremely difficult problem in clinic, especially in patients with large wounds which are infected by multidrug resistant, pan-resistant or omni-resistant bacteria. In recent years, with a grim prospect of antibiotic resistance, phage therapy is re-valued by researchers after being ignored for nearly half a century. Phage therapy has made great achievements in prevention and control of bacterial infection of open wounds. This review is mainly focused on the latest research progress of phage therapy in wound bacterial infection.

Objective To investigate the prevalence and risk factors of restless leg syndrome (RLS) in hemodialysis patients after kidney transplantation failure. Methods Patients of hemodialysis after kidney transplantation failure were investigated by face-to-face interviews, from March to July,2015,at four dialysis units in Beijing.RLS was diagnosed according to the International RLS Study Group (IRLSSG) criteria. The severity of RLS was assessed using International RLS Rating scale.Besides, three validated sleep disorder questionnaires (Hamilton anxiety and depression scale,Epworth sleepiness scale and Pittsburgh sleep quality index) were completed by the patients at the same time. Results Ninety-four hemodialysis patients after kidney transplantation failure were enrolled;46 patients (48.94%) met the diagnosis of RLS,the average age was 53.44±l 1.89 years, and the median time of RLS onset after kidney transplantation failure was 46 months. The International RLS Rating scale scores of the patients were 17.26±7.81;76.0% patients were above moderate. As compared with the non-RLS patients, patients with RLS used more erythropoietin (44/48 vs.46/46),less ferrila (30/48 vs.19/46),and few hypnotic medicine (10/48 vs.3/46),with significant differences (P<0.05).The serum ion, serum ferritin and serum Vitamin B12 of patients with RLS were significantly lower as compared with non-RLS patients (P<0.05);and poorer sleep quality and higher depression scale scores in the patients with RLS were noted as compared with those in the non-RLS patients (P<0.05).Conclusion The prevalence of RLS in hemodialysis patients after kidney transplantation failure is high, low iron protein content, low serum iron content and low vitamin B12 levels may be risk factors for RLS.

In this article, based on z-curve theory and position weight matrix (PWM), a model for nucleosome sequences was constructed. Nucleosome sequence dataset was transformed into three-dimensional coordinates, PWM of the nucleosome sequences was calculated and the similarity score was obtained. After integrating them, a nucleosome feature model based on the comprehensive DNA sequences was obtained and named CSeqFM. We calculated the Euclidean distance between nucleosome sequence candidates or linker sequences and CSeqFM model as the feature dataset, and put the feature datasets into the support vector machine (SVM) for training and testing by ten-fold cross-validation. The results showed that the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and Matthews correlation coefficient (MCC) of identifying nucleosome positioning for were 97.1%, 96.9%, 94.2% and 0.89, respectively, and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) was 0.980 1. Compared with another z-curve method, it was found that our method had better identifying effect and each evaluation performance showed better superiority. CSeqFM method was applied to identify nucleosome positioning for other three species, including , and . The results showed that AUCs of the three species were all higher than 0.90, and CSeqFM method also showed better stability and effectiveness compared with iNuc-STNC and iNuc-PseKNC methods, which is further demonstrated that CSeqFM method has strong reliability and good identification performance.
