Objective To observe the effect of fluvastatin on urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER)of microalbuminuria in type 2 diabetes patients. Methods Type 2 diabetes patients with mieroalbuminuria were randomly divided into fluvastatin goup(n=126)and control group(n=129).Fluvastatin group was given fluvastatin 40 mg each night.Follow up was conducted for 1.5 years. The UAER and glomerular filtration rate(GFR)as well as blood lipid level before and after therapy were compared. Results UAER in fluvastatin group was significantly lower than that in control group[(59.6±10.5)vs(87.5±12.3)mg/min,P<0.05]before therapy[(104.4±25.2)vs(110.6±19.7)mg/min,P<0.05],which was independent of its lowering-lipid effect. But GFR had no signifimicroalbuminuria which is independent of lowering-lipid effect in type 2 diabetic nephropathy patients and delay the progress of diabetic nephropathy.

This article elucidated the meaning of moving cupping method based on heaven-human-earth theory. The heaven-human-earth moving-cupping method has innovated the idea, operation, and application protocol of moving-cupping method. It also diversifies the moving routine and function, standardizes protocol, expands the area, and quantifies the operation. It endows the cupping therapy with a new method and idea. However, the action mechanism still expects further study.

There has always been no lack of discussion on Biaoben and Genjie theory in traditional Chinese medical acupuncture circles, but many questions still exist. This article expounds the original meaning of Biaoben and Genjie, traces the origin of the theory and sorts out the questions in Biaoben and Genjie theory, e.g. the difference in the position between Biaoben and Genjie, no record of the location of Genjie of six hand meridians, regularities in meridional qi circulation, understanding and valuing, and application and development to confirm the importance of Biaoben and Genjie theory and to give reference.

Objective · To analyze the clinical distribution and drug resistance of Acinetobacter junii (A. junii) and Acinetobacter lwoffii (A. lwoffii) from a grade 3A hospital in Shanghai, China, and provide the foundation for prevention and control of infections caused by them. Methods · A. junii and A. lwoffii were collected from the hospital between Aug, 2011 and Aug, 2016. VITEK2 Compact of bioMérieux (French) was used for bacterial identification and antibiotic susceptibility tests, clinical information of each strain was also analyzed. Results · 28 strains of A. junii and 58 strains of A. lwoffii were enrolled. A. junii was mainly from the departments of urology, thoracic surgery and geriatrics, and the samples were mainly sputum and urine. The resistant rates of A. junii to gentamicin, ampicillin sulbactam, piperacillin, piperacillin/tazobactam, ceftazidime, cefepime, imipenem, meropenem, levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin and cotrimoxazole were 35.71%, 3.57%, 10.71%, 3.57%, 3.57%, 3.57%, 3.57%, 3.57%, 0, 3.57% and 35.71%, respectively. A. lwoffii was mainly isolated from the departments of urology, geriatrics, respiratory and renal medicine, and the samples mainly included urine, blood and sputum. The rates of antibiotics (mentioned above) resistance were 29.31%, 13.79%, 13.79%, 6.90%, 20.69%, 18.97%, 12.07%, 15.52%, 18.97%, 31.03% and 31.03%, respectively. The levels of antibiotic resistance of these two strains were constant during the five years. Conclusion · A. junii and A. lwoffii antibiotic resistant rates were much lower than those of reported A. baumannii, the over-all antibiotic resistances of A. junii were lower than those of A. lwoffii. This study provided fundamental data for prevention or control of these two strains by empirical use of antibiotics.

Objective To study the influence of radiation on autophagy and its protective effect on radiation injury of hepatic cells. Methods Autophagy in mouse liver tissues was examined by GFP-LC3 staining and Western blot.Radiation-induced hepatic injury was evaluated by ALT and AST in mouse serum, protein expressions, and H & E and TUNEL staining of liver tissue.L02 cells were used for in vitro study.Chloroquine and rapamycin were used to manipulate the level of autophagy. Results Total body irradiation (TBI) of 8 Gy caused an increase of autophagy in mouse liver tissue and AST level in serum (t =-7.47,P <0.05) at 12 h after irradiation.Irradiation significantly increased the apoptotic level in liver tissue as well.Inhibition of autophagy by chloroquine caused a further increases of AST [IR:(345.42±35.25)U/L vs.IR +CQ:(433.42 ±40.07)U/L,t =-2.86,P<0.05] and ALT [IR:(35.67 ± 8.08) U/L vs.IR+CQ:(98.5±26.67)U/L,t=-3.09,P<0.05] in the serum, and it also promoted apoptosis in live tissue. However, rapamycin as an autophagy promoter showed protective effect for radiation-induced hepatic injury [AST:IR:(345.42 ± 35.25) U/L vs.IR + Rap:(278.42 ± 20.09)U/L,t =-2.86,P < 0.05].Similar changes of autophagy and apoptosis in L02 cells were also observed in the cells treated with chloroquine and rapamycin.Inhibition of autophagy by CQ caused an increase of ROS in vitro and in vivo and further increased ALT and AST levels in serum, reduced L02 cell viability.Activation of autophagy by Rap effectively reversed those changes. Conclusions Autophagy protects hepatic cells from radiation injury by decreasing ROS induction, which provides a potential target for the development of new clinical regimens against radiation induced liver injury.

Five patients after prosthetic tricuspid valve, who received pacemaker implantation via coronary sinus during Oct, 2011 and Jul, 2014, were enrolled. Pacemakers were implanted via coronary vein in 5 patients without complications. The stimulation thresholds keep stable and symptoms (such as short breath and fatigue) were disappeared during the follow-up. For patients after tricuspid valve replacement, implantation of pacemaker via coronary sinus provides a safe and invasive approach and avoids opening the chest again.
