Objective To observe the effect of fluvastatin on urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER)of microalbuminuria in type 2 diabetes patients. Methods Type 2 diabetes patients with mieroalbuminuria were randomly divided into fluvastatin goup(n=126)and control group(n=129).Fluvastatin group was given fluvastatin 40 mg each night.Follow up was conducted for 1.5 years. The UAER and glomerular filtration rate(GFR)as well as blood lipid level before and after therapy were compared. Results UAER in fluvastatin group was significantly lower than that in control group[(59.6±10.5)vs(87.5±12.3)mg/min,P<0.05]before therapy[(104.4±25.2)vs(110.6±19.7)mg/min,P<0.05],which was independent of its lowering-lipid effect. But GFR had no signifimicroalbuminuria which is independent of lowering-lipid effect in type 2 diabetic nephropathy patients and delay the progress of diabetic nephropathy.

This article elucidated the meaning of moving cupping method based on heaven-human-earth theory. The heaven-human-earth moving-cupping method has innovated the idea, operation, and application protocol of moving-cupping method. It also diversifies the moving routine and function, standardizes protocol, expands the area, and quantifies the operation. It endows the cupping therapy with a new method and idea. However, the action mechanism still expects further study.

~(131)I uptake by thyroid were assayed in 64 patients with Graves′ disease (GD) and 69 patients with non-GD hyperthyroidism. GD group had higher rate of ~(131)I uptake than non-GD group at 2, 6 and 24 h, and there was no overlap between the two groups at these 3 time points.~(131)I uptake at 2 and 6 h could differentiate GD fromlow ~(131)I uptakehyperthyroidism.

Based on the point of view that the human body is an organic whole and the fact that virus and body is a unity of contradiction, the interaction mechanism of virus and immunity in the research of the anti-HIV/AIDS Chinese materia medica is discussed. On the one hand,it can widen our thinking to find new target of anti-virus drugs. On the other hand,it can also provide scientific support for understanding the complex mechanics of the anti-HIV/AIDS Chinese materia medica.

Objective:To investigate the expression profile of Ly49A in a mouse GVHD model and the ex vivo expression alteration of it in T cells exposal to CsA, IL 4, and IL 15, respectively. Methods:Based on mouse aGVHD model, two color fluorescence flow cytometry was used to assay the expression of Ly49A on splenic and bone marrow CD3 +, CD4 + and CD8 + T cell subsets, before and after engraftment in different time interval. Cell culture was used to analyse in vitro Ly49A expression on splenic T cells treated with IL 4 and IL 15.Results:①In normal B6 and F1 strain, the frequencies of Ly49A + cells in BMCs , splenocytes and PMNCs remained at a low level and almost no, if any, such cells were detected in thymus; ②The proportions of CD3 +/Ly49A + andCD8 +/Ly49A + cells rose in early stage(7th,day) , tended to decline until 5 w post engraftment, and thereafter arose and exceed that pretreatment, which was down regulated in the presence of CsA; ③With or without ConA, the CD3 +/Ly49A + proportion were up modulated in purified CD3 +splenic cells, by IL 4 and IL 15 with no different effect demonstrated between those cytokines. Conclusion:KIR +T lymphocytes were most belong to peripheral lymphocytes. There exist a immunological tolerant tendency between grafts and host in semimatched transplant, and some cytokines and immunosuppressants can enhance the tolerance.

Objective:To explore the significance of next-generation sequencing to detect gene mutations for diagnosis of patients with unexplained pancytopenia. Methods:The next-generation sequencing was used to detect 32 common hematological tumor gene mutations in 113 patients with unexplained pancytopenia in Huazhong University of Science and Technology Union Shenzhen Hospital from February 2016 to February 2019.Results:The next-generation sequencing results showed that of the 32 genes tested in 113 patients, 69 mutations occurred in 25 genes. Among them, 105 patients (92.9%) carried at least 1 gene mutation, and the median number of mutations was 2 (1-5). Fifty-one patients were diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), and the related mutant genes were detected; 62 patients were diagnosed with atypical aplastic anemia or cytopenia of unknown significance. The total effective rate of treatment for 113 patients was 65.5% (74/113).Conclusion:The next-generation sequencing helps to diagnose patients with unexplained pancytopenia, and provides targeted strategies for finding new treatments and prolonging the overall survival of patients.

Objective To investigate the intervening effect of movable cupping on sub-health status. Methods Movable cupping was performed on bilateral bladder meridians and the Du meridian in 12 patients with sub-health status. The sub-health status rating scale score, the visual analogue pain intensity scale score, hemorheological parameters and immunoglobulins were observed before and after movable cupping. Results The sub-health status rating scale score, the visual analogue pain intensity scale score, whole blood viscosity 200 and plasma viscosity decreased after treatment compared with before in the patients, and there were statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Whole blood viscosity 1, whole blood viscosity 2 and whole blood viscosity 3 decreased and IgG, IgA and IgM increased after treatment compared with before in the patients, but there were no statistically significant differences (P>0.05). Conclusion Movable cupping has clinically a certain improving effect on bodily sub-health status.

Objective To explore the levels of IL-1β,IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor α (TNF α) in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage and their relationship with systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS).Methods The levels of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),and TNF α in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage were measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results The levels of IL-1β,IL-6,and TNFα in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage were significantly higher than those of control group (P < 0.05),but the increased time of these cytokines was different.Three cytokines in serum and the cerebrospinal fluid levels of IL-1β and IL-6 but not TNFα were significantly related to SIRS and MODS.Condusions The increased cytokine levels in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage may be related to SIRS and MODS,and the measurement of IL-1β,IL-6,and TNFαin serum, and IL-1β and IL-6 in cerebrospinal fluid of patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage can be useful to predict and treat SIRS and MODS.
