Objective To explore the effect of minocycline hydrochloride in treatment of mycoplasmal pneumonia. Methods90 cases in hospital were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.42 cases received Azithromycin in control group,48 cases received minocyclme hydrochloride for oral use in foundation of control group,theraper than 85.7% in control group.The clinical indices of the treatment group were better than those of control group;and their differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05). ConclusionMinocycline hydrochloride could elevate mycoplasmal pneumonia therapeutic efficacy,the method could offer a quick action with good result and lower adverse reaction.It worth be widely used in clinic.

Objective To explore the effect of cyclindependent kinase(CDK)2 on the replication of herpes simplex virus(HSV).Methods Dominant-negative CDK2 expressing cell line HT29Tet-On dn-CDl(2 was used as host cells to determine the role of CDK2 in HSV rephcation.HT29Tet-0n dn-CDK2 cells were infected with HSV.The activity of CDK2 Was determined by the immunoprecipitate and autoradiograph before and after HSV infection.The growth curve of HSV Was conducted.Results The CDK2 activity was induced after infection for 6 h and reached the hishest level at 9 h.HSV replicated rapidly and productively after the CDK2 was induced.Coatiusion CDK2 is required for the replication of HSV,and HSV replicates in host cells by inducing the CDK2 activity.

Forty six children with Kawasaki disease (observer group) were classified as coronary artery lesions (CAL) subgroup (19 cases) and non-coronary artery lesions (NCAL) subgroup (27 cases)according to echocardiography; 50 healthy children served as control group.Serum heart-type fatty acidbinding protein (h-FABP), platelet activating factor (PAF), cardiac tropnin Ⅰ (cTnI) and creatine kinase isoenzyme MB (CK-MB) levels of all subjects were detected.The results showed that the h-FABP and cTnI levels and positive rate in observer group were higher those in control group (P ＜ 0.05 ), while there were no differences in CK-MB level and positive rate between two groups ( P ＞ 0.05 ).The h-FABP positive rate in observation group was higher than the positive rates of cTnI and CK-MB (P ＜0.05).The PAF level, PLT and polymorphonuclear neutrophil count in observer group were higher than those in control group ( P ＜0.05).The h-FABP and PAF levels in CAL subgroup were higher than those in NCAL subgroup (P ＜0.05).The results suggest that serum h-FABP and PAF can be used as diagnostic indicators for Kawasaki disease complicated with coronary artery lesions.

Objective To study the epidemiological features of prevalence and distribution of diabetes mellitus (DM) and the injury glucose tolerance (IGT) in elder people in Beijing. Methods Cross over sectional epidemiological survey by random stratified sampling method in elder population was applied and the middle aged people was used as controls. The prevalent status of diabetes and IGT in the population more than 60 years old in urban area was compared with that in rural areas in Beijing in 1997. Results The aggregate age adjusted standardization prevalence of diabetes and IGT were 15 98% and 15 89% , respectively in old age population in Beijing in 1997. Diabetes prevalence in 60 69 years group (only comparable data) increased about 3 2 times from 4 27% in 1981 to 13 73% in 1997. Although it was no difference in IGT prevalence between urban and rural elders, there existed significant difference for diabetes standardized rates between them(17 74% vs 8 83%).
