2.Advancement in diagnosis and treatment of acute retinal necrosis syndrome
International Eye Science 2017;17(7):1261-1264
Acute retinal necrosis syndrome (ARNS) is a group of eye syndrome.Acute uveitis, retinal artery occlusive vasculitis, fused necrotic retinitis and late stage of retinal detachment is the main clinical manifestation.A part of patients may be associated with increased intraocular pressure. The etiology and pathogenesis is still not clear completely and most people think that may be related to the virus infection, which mainly to reflected to be herpes simplex virus (HSV), varicella zoster virus (VZV), EB virus and giant cell virus (CMV) infection. Its diagnosis mainly depends on clinical manifestation, examination and etiological examination.Acute retinal necrosis syndrome is urgent and develops quickly, and it is lack of specific clinical symptoms in early times.By the way, it enjoys high misdiagnosis rate and poor prognosis. It is hard to cure, therefore, it is an important reason for the blindness.Once diagnosed, treatment should be adopted by carrying local and systemic antiviral, preventive laser photocoagulation in time.At the same time, it is essential that vitreous body resection combine with silicone oil tamponade treatment when necessary. The study shows that the effective measures of early treatment will be able to prevent disease progression and improve visual acuity. Therefore, early diagnosis and treatment of acute retinal necrosis syndrome is very important. In this paper, combination of the literature on the diagnosis and treatment of acute retinal necrosis syndrome were reviewed.
4.Effect of Acupuncture Combined with TAX on the Expression of Apoptosis Related Factor p53 and bcl-2 of Mice Lewis Lung Cancer Cells
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Objective We adopt acupuncture associating with TAX,to investigate the anti-cancer effect and mechanism. Methods 48 mice with inoculated Lewis Lung Carcinoma were divided randomly into 4 groups:model group, acupuncture group, medicine group, combination of acupuncture and medicine group.Growth state of the mice and change curve of tumour.Protein expression of apoptosis related factor p53 and Bc1-2 in tumour were observed by Western Blotting method. Results Acupuncture,TAX and the combination of acupuncture and TAX separately had anti-tumor effect, with the combination was the best and improve growth state of the mice.p53 and bc1-2 can be detected in four groups.Compared with model group, the expression of other groups was lower.Compared with acupuncture group and medicine group, the exprission of combination group of acupuncture and TAX was lower.Conclution Combination of acupuncture and TAX can prohibit p53 Mutant and decrease Bcl-2,which have co-operating effect.

6. Clinical obserbation on vertigo treatment of integrative traditional Chinese and Western medicine
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2014;45(7):982-984
Objective: To evaluate the effect of clinical Western medicine and integrative traditional Chinese and Western medicine on vertigo. Methods: One hundred and twenty outpatients and inpatients suffered vertigo participated in the trial. Randomly, 60 cases were distributed into test group, and the other 60 cases were selected into control group. The patients in control group were given Alprostadil, Vinpocetine, Flunarizine, and Betahistine. The patients in test group, based on dialectical type, took Chinese herb decoction individually. Results: Visual analog scale (VAS) and dizziness handicap inventory (DHI) score results in the test group were significantly lower than those in the control group. The total effective rate of the test group was 93.33%. In the control group, the total effective rate of Western medicine was 81.67%. There was a significant statistical difference (P < 0.05) between the two groups. Conclusion: The therapy by integrative traditional Chinese and Western medicine could significantly improve the efficacy in vertigo treatment.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and the outcome of severe trauma of various ages in emergency department,to improve the therapeutic effect of emergency rescuing. Methods Two thousand and sixty nine patients of severe trauma were treated during a seven-year period from October 1997 to October 2004.The studied patients were divided into 5 groups:(1)adolescent group(Group A,<13 years old,n=106);(2)juvenile group(Group B, 13-18 years old,n=128);(3)youth group(Group C,18-40 years old,n=1518);(4)middle age group(Group D, 40-60 years old,n=215);and(5)elderly group(Group E,>60 years old,n=102).All the patients were evaluated with Injury Severity Score(ISS),and the result was≥16 in all of the studied patients. Results The incidence of severe trauma in male in all 5 groups was higher than that in female, and it was significantly higher in Group C,Group D and Group E when compared with that in the other groups(P<0.01).Traffic accident was the leading cause of injury, and its incidence in Group A,Group B and Group D was higher than that in other groups(P<0.01).However,injury caused by falling from high places was the second cause of injury, being significantly increased in Group A,while armed fighting and injury during work being significantly increased in Group B,Group C and Group D,slip fall injury being significantly increased in Group E(P<0.01).Head injury was mainly found in Group A and Group E,extremities injury and/or spinal injury were increased markedly in Group B,Group C and Group D(P<0.05),abdominal injury was significantly decreased in Group E(P<0.001).The total mortality was 11.9%(246/2069).The mortality within 24 hours (20.6%,21/102)was significantly higher than that beyond 24 hours(7.8%,8/102)in Group E(P<0.01).The time of staying in the emergency department differed significantly between the survived patients and those died in all 5 groups (P<0.01).Conclusion The gender, the incidence and the characteristics of the injury causes and injury sites differed between severely injured patients of various ages.Mortality in the elderly is significantly increased following severe trauma. The idea of“golden one hour”and“platinum ten minutes”,measures of shortening the time of staying in the emergency clinic, early definite operation and damage control operation should be emphasized.

Chinese Journal of Surgery 2003;41(3):208-210
OBJECTIVETo study the clinical features, treatment and diagnosis of parapelvic cyst.
METHODSTwenty-three patients of parapelvic cyst of the kidney were reviewed retrospectively. Fourteen cases (61%) complained of lumbar pain or discomfort, and 4 patients (17%) accompany hematuria and hypertension.
RESULTSIn 15 patients receiving surgery, 2 were treated by nephrectomy, one by radical nephrectomy for misdiagnosis. Postoperative diagnosis confirmed a cyst. Eight patients were treated conservatively for cyst being small and without clinical symptoms. Nineteen cases were followed up for 0.5 - 12.0 years.
CONCLUSIONSUltrasonography and CT scan are the main diagnostic methods. Enhanced CT is extremely helpful in differential diagnosis of hydronephrosis. Surgical management is suitable for big cysts, lumbar pain, hematuria, hypertension and other complications.

Facing current situation of integrative medicine (IM), authors put forward that clinical and diagnosis program of IM could be carried out from clinical path, pathogenesis, treatment theory and philosophy, and so on, but with different integration degrees. Meanwhile, formulation of concrete program should be disease-targetedly set up, and adjusted from person to person, from place to place, from time to time. As for settled IM program , authors could evaluate it from whether Chinese medicine and Western medicine have formed complementary, synergistic, excitatory actions, and toxicity attenuation; whether more problems could be solved in efficacy, safety, practicability, and economy than previous single mode.
