? AlM: To examine choroidal thickness and its relationship with axial length and spherical equivalent by spectral domain optical coherence tomography ( SD -OCT ) in patients with myopic choroidal neovascularization ( mCNV) .
?METHODS: We prospectively recruited 30 cases of mCNV in Beijing Anzhen Hospital from October 2010 to December 2014. SD-OCT was used to measure choroidal thickness subfoveally and at 1. 5mm superiorly, inferiorly, nasally and temporally ( SFCT, SCT1. 5mm , lCT1. 5mm , NCT1. 5mm , TCT1. 5mm ) . Paired t- test was conducted to assess the difference of spherical equivalent, axial length and choroidal thickness between mCNV group and controls. Logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate the correlation between spherical equivalent, axial length, choroidal thickness and mCNV.
?RESULTS: The difference of spherical equivalent and axial length between mCNV group and controls was not significant (P>0. 05). lnferior was decreased in mCNV group compared with controls (140. 85±33. 46μm vs 168. 95±45. 36μm). The difference was significant (P=0. 008). Logistic regression demonstrated that decreased choroidal thickness ( lCT1. 5mm ) at inferior location was associated with mCNV (OR=2. 12;95%CI 1. 35~3. 28;P=0. 02).
?CONCLUSlON: The decrease of lCT1. 5MM may be one of the risk factors of mCNV.

Aim To study mRNA and protein expression of eNOS in pulmonary tissue of chronic hypoxic pulmonary hypertension(HPH)rats and chronic hypoxic rats treated with novel KATP opener iptakalim. Methods sixty Sprague-Dawley(SD)male rats were randomly divided into control group, hypoxic group, low dose iptakalim group(0.75 mg·kg~(-1)·d~(-1)), and high dose iptakalim group(1.5 mg·kg~(-1)·d~(-1)).Except the first group, the other three groups were put into hypoxic and normobaric chamber (10%±0.5% O_2,8 h/day and 6 day/week) to establish chronic hypoxic model. After four weeks, the mean pulmonary arterial pressure(mPAP), RV/(LV+S)and the plasma concentration of NO were measured. RT-PCR was performed to analyze the mRNA expression of eNOS in pulmonary tissue. Western blot was performed to analyze the protein expression of eNOS, iNOS in pulmonary tissue. Results ① The level of mPAP and RV/ ( LV + S) were significantly higher in the hypoxic group than those in control group ( P < 0. 05 ) , Low dose iptakalim groupandhighdoseiptakalimgroupdecreased the level of mPAP and RV/( LV + S) significantly (P <0. 05). ② The level of NO was significantly lower in the hypoxic group than those in control group (P<0. 05). Low dose iptakalim group and high dose iptakalim group increased the level of NO significantly (P < 0. 05 ). ③ The mRNA and protein expression of eNOS in the hypoxic group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0. 05 ). Low dose iptakalim group and high dose iptakalim group increased the expression of eNOS significantly ( P < 0. 05). High dose iptakalim group was more significant. Conclusion Pulmonary vascular endothelial dysfunction is induced by chronic hypoxia, and the level of NO, the mRNA and protein expression of eNOS are decreased. Iptakalim can improve the vascular endothelial dysfunction, increase the expression of eNOS and the level of NO and reverse hypoxic pulmonary hypertension.

Objective Diabetic mice models were established.Hearts were separated from the body, reperfused after ischemia, and disposed of with the extraneous calcitonin gene-ralated peptide (CGRP),to prove if the CGRP had protective effect on the early-staged diabetic mice with cardiac ischemia.Method ICR mice were injected with Streptozocins intraperitoneally to establish diabetic model. The model mice and the normal mice were randomly divided into 4 groups:two diabetic groups, two control groups.Hearts of the experimental mice were taken out from the chest cavity alive, and hanged on the Langendorff steadily for 30min.Western blot and radioimmunoassay techniques were used to test expression of Vanilloid receptor(VR1) and CGRP in myocardic tissue;Madlab system was used to test the cardiac function, which including left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP),left ventricular developed pressure (LVDP),heart rate (HR),and coronary artery flow (CF),in the process of ischemic reperfusion,And ELISA assay kit was used to measure the concentration of the lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in perfusion fluid collected from the heart.Result Expressions of VR1 and CGRP in diabetic hearts were significantly lower than those in normal ones 2 weeks later(P<0.01).By comparing with normal hearts, diabetic hearts had higher LVEDP and CF (P<0.05),and lower LVDP and HR(P<0.05).However,release of LDH were lower than normal ones (P<0.05).Predisposition of normal and diabetic hearts with CGRP can improve the cardiac function after ischemie injury. And the beneficial effect was more profound in early-staged diabetic hearts than in normal ones. Conclusion The diabetes disease(DM) can impair the expression of CGRP in myocardiac tissue. The extraneous CGRP may exert more potent protective effect on cardiac function in the early-staged diabetic heart.

OBJECTIVETo explore the correlation between the recurrence of cerebral infarction and aspirin resistance (AR)/Chinese medical (CM) constitutions.
METHODSTotally 413 cerebral infarction patients took Aspirin Enteric-coated Tablet (100 mg per day) while receiving routine therapy, 5 days at least in a week. They were followed-up for 12 months. Aspirin sensitivity (AS) was determined using turbidimetry. CM constitutions among patients with different AS were compared. Ratios of AR patients and AS patients of different CM constitutions in cerebral infarction recurrent patients were compared. Platelet membrane glycoproteins (GP) II b HPA-3 gene polymorphism was detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method. Correlation between recurrence of cerebral infarction and AR, bb genotypes, CM constitutions times AS were analyzed by Logistic regression.
RESULTSTotally 11 patients dropped out, 101 (25.12%)with recurrent cerebral infarction and 301 (74.88%) without recurrent cerebral infarction. There were 152 (37.81%) AR patients and 250 (62.19%) AS patients. AR accounted for 26.6% (80/ 301) and AS accounted for 73.4% (221/301) in non-recurrent cerebral infarction patients. AR accounted for 71.3% (72/101) and AS accounted for 28.7% (29/101) in recurrent cerebral infarction patients. There was statistical difference in AR and AS ratios (χ2 = 64.287, P = 0.000). The proportion of yin deficiency constitution (YDC) was the largest [28.3% (43/152)] in AR patients. The proportion of blood stasis constitution (BSC) was the largest [23.6% (59/250)] in AS patients. There was statistical difference in CM constitutions between AR patients and AS patients (χ2 = 21.574, P < 0.01). The former 4 recurrent rates occurred in AR patients of YDC, BSC, damp-phlegm constitution (DPC), qi deficiency constitution (QDC). YDC occupied the first place [22.4% (34/152)]. The former 4 recurrent rates occurred in AS patients of BSC, QDC, DPC, damp-heat constitution (DHC). BSC occupied the first place [3.2% (2/250)]. Compared with non-recurrent cerebral infarction patients and AS patients, bb gene occurred most often, but aa gene and ab gene occurred obviously lesser in non-recurrent cerebral infarction patients and AR patients (χ2 = 20.171, χ2 = 55.139, P < 0.01). AR and bb gene were positively correlated with recurrent cerebral infarction (OR = 18.423, P = 0.000; OR = 1.304, P = 0.028). Body constitutions interacted with AS (OR = 0.707, P = 0.000).
CONCLUSIONSRecurrent cerebral infarction was closely related to AR and constitutional types. The recurrence rate was higher in AR patients of YDC. GP I b HPA-3 bb genotype might be a risk factor for AR and recurrent cerebral infarction.
