The effect of traditional therapy is limited for liver cancer, gene therapy gets more and more recognition in recent years.Oncolysis virus is a kind of conditionally replicating virus, with special reproductivity in cancer cells, and then kills them.Gene agents are usually introduced into tumor tissue by intra-tumor and intra-arterial injection, and the technique of interventional therapy is able to satisfy the demand excellently. So,some breakthrough is expected in treating liver cancer by skillfully combining oncolysis virus and interventional technique

Objective To investigate the variance of peripheral blood prolactin(PRL)in controlled ovarian stimulation. Methods Seventy-two patients, with totally 106 cycles receiving a long protocol of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist combined with gonadotropin(Gn)were randomly enrolled in this retrospective study.During controlled ovarian stimulation, peripheral blood hormones were measured by chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay. Results Prolactin was positively correlated with estradiol (r=0.5897.P<0.01)while there was no significant correlation between luteinizing hormone and PRLProgesterone had a positive relation with prolactin(r=0.1412,P<0.01).Conclusions During controlled ovarian stimulation, prolactin secretion is not affected by Gn but may be stimulated by estradiol.Progesterone has a positive relation with prolactin.

The etiology and pathogenesis of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) are not fully understood, and intestinal microbiota had been assumed as a possible factor in the pathogenesis of IBS.Increasing evidences have shown that alterations of gut microbiota were found in IBS patients and modulation of intestinal microbiota might be effective in the treatment of IBS.This article reviewed the mechanism of involvement of intestinal microbiota in pathogenesis of IBS by altering mucosal permeability, activating immune reaction, disturbing gastrointestinal motility and affecting brain-gut axis.

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
Differential display-PCR was used to clone the differential expressed genes between Mycobacterium tuberculosis virulence strain H37Rv and its avirulent mutant H37Ra. All of different genes were cloned, sequenced and some were analyzed by Northern-blotting. Two cDNAs that appeared to be expressed in H37Rv, but not in H37Ra, were cloned and sequenced. Rv0170, and Rv1894c, code for proteins with unknown functions. The two gene were present in H37Ra, but not expressed. These results show that mRNA DD methodology can represent a potential tool for investigation of M. tuberculosis gene expression.

In order to investigate the role of antiapoptosis gene, survivin in the resistance to palcitaxel, the expression of survivin mRNA and protein in the process of paclitaxel treatment in breast cancer cell line MCF-7 was detected MCF-7 cells were incubated with paclitaxel at different concentrations. The growth inhibition rate of MCF-7 was investigated by tetrazolium bromide (MTT) colorimetry. The change of apoptosis was detected by Annexin-V/PI methods. The changes in the expression of survivin mRNA and protein were studied by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western-blot assay respectively. The growth inhibition rate of MCF-7 was increased in a concentration-and time-dependent manner. Paclitaxel of higher concentration could effectively induce apoptosis in MCF-7 cells after 48 h, while the expression of survivin was increased at early time (within 6 h) and decreased after 24 h regardless of treatment concentrations of paclitaxel. It suggested that tumor cells might evade the paclitaxel-induced cell cycle arrest and apoptosis by increasing the level of survivin at early treatment time.
