The coronary collateral circulation is an alternative source of blood supply to the myocardium jeopardized by failure of the original vessel to provide adequate flow. Angiogenesis growth factors induce angiogenesis to promote collateral circulation, been demonstrated in a number of different animal test and phase Ⅰ clinical experience to induce collateralization in the ischemic area and improve cardiac function. Although there are several unsolved questions, the pharmacologic use of angiogenesis growth factors will represent a viable therapeutic alternative for the patients with ischemic heart disease.

To explore the serum hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) lesion severity level and diabetic nephropathy (DN).A total of 207 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) were recruited from Second Municipal Hospital.According to the level of urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER), they were divided into non-DN group (group A, n =56) : UAER ＜ 20 μg/min;early DN (group B, n =55) : UAER: 20-200 μg/min;clinical stage DN with normal renal function (group C, n =52):UAER ＞ 200 μg/min;DN in clinical renal dysfunction (group D, n =44) : UAER ＞ 200 μmol/min, decompensated chronic renal failure (serum creatinine: 133-177 μmol/L).And 55 healthy subjects were selected as controls.The serum levels of HGF, fasting plasma glucose , plasma glucose at 2 hour , blood urea nitrogen, creatinine and glycosylated hemoglobin were determined.HGF value : control group : (256.4 ± 30.4) ng/L,group A: (400.1 ±39.3)ng/L, group B: (689.4 ±55.6) ng/L, group C:(967.3 ±68.5) ng/L and group D: (150.7 ±23.2) ng/L.There are differences of serum HGF in different degree of DN.

Objective To investigate the serum levels of anti-BRAF antibody in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and its clinical significance.Methods Blood samples from 129 patients with RA,71 patients with other rheumatic diseases and 68 healthy controls were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA).The serum levels of anti-BRAF antibody in patients with RA were divided into high,medium and low groups,each group had 43 cases.The clinical symptoms,immunological findings and related imaging data of all cases were recorded.We investigated the relationship between the serum levels of anti-BRAF antibody and the clinical symptoms,immunological findings and related imaging changes of the RA group.Chi-square test,Mann-Whitney U test,Spearman's correlation test were used for statistical analysis.Results ① The serum levels of anti-BRAF antibody were significantly higher in RA group [A:1.093 (0.150-3.210)] than in other rheumatic diseases group [A:0.278 (0.093-0.455)] and healthy controls [A:0.202 (0.121-0.443)] (Z=-11.223,P=0.021 ; Z=-7.839,P=0.008 7).The serum levels of anti-BRAF antibody was not significantly different between patients with other rheumatic diseases group and healthy controls (Z=-0.905,P=0.445).② The difference in positive rate of rheumatoid factor (RF) in different groups of anti-BRAF antibody levels was statistically significant (λx2=10.14,P=0.006),namely the positive rate was significantlyhigher in the low-level group (88％) than in the high-level group (58％) (x2=10.03,P=0.002).Thepositive rate of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody and anti-keratin antibody of the three groups was not significantly different (x2=0.721,P=0.697; x2=1.735,P=0.188).③ There was significant negative correlation between the levels of anti-BRAF antibody and the course of disease (r=-0.233,P=0.047),RF(r=-2.84,P=0.039),IgM (r=-0.234,P=0.038),and hemoglobin (r=-0.287,P=0.032).There was no significant correlation between the level of anti-BRAF antibody and the joint swelling index (r=-0.133,P=0.230),joint pain index (r=-0.173,P=0.100),other clinical and laboratory parameters.There was significantly negative correlation between the ESR and hemoglobin level.④ There was no significant difference of the level of anti-BRAF antibody between the normal group and patients with bone destruction in the RA group (Z=-0.642,P=0.521).⑤ There was no significant difference in the level of anti-BRAF antibody between the normal group and patients with interstitial pulmonary fibrosis group in the RA group (Z=-0.121,P=0.904).Conclusion The anti-BRAF antibody can be used for the diagnosis of RA as a new autoantibody,and it can also be used in the diagnosis of early or RF-negative RA.There is no correlation between the level of anti-BRAF antibody and bone destruction and interstitial pulmonary fibrosis.

Objective To investigate the characteristics of P3a and P3b which are the subcomponents of P300 event-related potential in patients with vascular cognitive impairment (VCI) ,and to investigate the relations between P3a,P3b and the changes of cognitive function and cerebral blood flow. Methods Thirty patients with VCI and twenty two normal subjects were tested for P3a and P3b cognitive function ischemic focus and cerebral blood flow and then analyzed for correlation. Results (1) The latency of P3a ((446 ± 71) ms, (429 ± 67) ms, (446±61)ms,(428±66)ms)and P3b((496 ±73)ms,(478 ±75)ms,(498 ±77)ms,(483 ±77)ms) was significantly prolonged in patients with VCI compared with that in normal subjects in all recorded regions(P<0.01) . The amplitude of P3a in patients with VCI ((3.3 ±2.6)μV,(3.3 ± 1.8)μV) was significantly lower than that in normal subjects in Fz and Pz (P<0.01) ,and the amplitude of P3b in patients with VCI((4.5 ±2.5)μV,(6.4 ± 3.8)μV,(5.3 ±3.8)μV,(5. 3 ±3.0)μV) was significantly lower than that in normal subjects in all recorded regions (P < 0.01 or P<0.05) . (2) The latency of P3a and P3b in patients with VCI was negatively related to the scores of sub items of attention and MMSE total scores (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), the amplitude of P3a was positively related to the scores of MMSE total scores(P<0.05) ,the amplitude of P3b was positively related to the scores of attention and MMSE total scores(P<0.05). (3) The latency of P3a in patients with VCI was positively related to frontal lobe(P<0.05) ,and the latency of P3b was positively related to parietal lobe(P<0.05). (4) The latency of P3a in patients with VCI was positively related to RILMCA,RILACA and RIRACA(P<0.05 orP<0.01) ,the latency of P3b was positively related to RILMCA,RIRMCA and RIRACA(P<0.05 orP<0.01) ,and the amplitude of P3a was positively related to RILACA(P<0.01). Conclusion P3a and P3b are good objective indexes for testing the descent of cognitive function in patients with VCI,which can provide reference basis for the clinical diagnosis.

AIM: To establish the quality standard of Huoxuejiangu Capsules (Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Radix Astragali seu Hedysari, Rhizoma Corydalis, Fructus Psoraleae, etc.). METHODS: Radix Astragali, Rhizoma Corydalis, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Fructus Psoraleae were identified by TLC. The content of tanshinone Ⅱ A was determined by HPLC. RESULTS: Radix Astragali, Rhizoma Corydalis, Radix Paeoniae Rubra, Fructus Psoraleae could be dtected by TLC. Tanshinone Ⅱ A showed a good linear relationship at the range of 0.106～2.12?g, r =0.9996. The average recovery was 98.6%, and RSD was 1.48%. CONCLUSION: The method established is simple, feasible and reproducible. This study provided a method for quality control of Huoxuejiangu Capsules.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the status quo and the developmental trend of the application of antidepressant drugs in our hospital.METHODS:The antidepressant drugs in our hospital during2002～2004were analyzed retrospectively in terms of drug varieties,consumption quantity,consumption sum,DDDs etc.RESULTS:The consumption sum of the antidepressant drugs increased year by year,which stood at667.41,802.47and995.02(RMB:ten thousand yuan),respectively in the3years.CONCLUSION:Fluoxetine dominates the first place in terms of clinical application of antidepressants.Furthermore,the application of new type antidepresants has been on the rise.
