This article is to discuss the ethical principles in the diagnosis and treatment of oral disease in elderly patients.The patient-oriented concept should not be neglected.Doctors′ moral responsibility must be strengthened during examination,diagnosing and curing process.Medical skills should be well mastered and improved.Characteristic of senile patients should be attached to and right oral health education is obligatory for patients.
2.Combined caudate lobectomy in Klatskin tumor: a systematic review

Objective To systematically review the risks and effectiveness of combined caudate lobectomy in Klatskin tumor.Methods A systematic literature search was conducted on PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,Scopus,CNKI databases and Chinese Bio Medical Literature (CBM).A systematic review and meta-analysis of the current literatures were conducted based on the PRISMA guideline.Odds ratios were calculated using the Mantel-Haenszel method.The primary outcome variables included safety,effectiveness of combined caudate lobectomy and its impact on long-term survival.Results Nine out of 312 articles were included.Results showed caudate lobectomy did not increase the incidence of postoperative complications (OR = 1.15;95 % CI 0.74-1.81;P > 0.05),but improved R0 resection rate (OR = 4.81;95 % CI 2.72 ~ 8.53;P < 0.01) and long-term survival in these patients (OR = 0.20;95% CI 0.11 ~ 0.39;P <0.01).Conclusion Combined caudate lobe resection is a safe and effective treatment for Klatskin tumor.
3.Advances in research on the mechanism of hypoxic pulmonary hypertension:role of 15-LO/15-HETE

Hypoxic pulmonary hypertension(HPH) is a common disease featured by acute hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction(HPV) and chronic hypoxic pulmonary vascular remolding(HPVR) leading to the sustained increasing of pulmonary artery pressure.There are many mediators involved in the HPH but none can illustrate it successfully.Primary work has found 15-lipoxygenase(15-LO) and its catalyzed production 15-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid(15-HETE)(from arachidonic acid) are up-regulated in pulmonary vascular when exprosed to hypoxia.And it has been found 15-LO/15-HETE involved in many processes of both the HPV and HPVR,indicating 15-LO/15-HETE may be an important mediator of HPH.Advances research on 15-LO/15-HETE may illustrate the mechanism of HPH,and will give some message in looking for a potential clinical target of HPH.

Results The usage management can improve the capacity of using and maintaining of medical equipments. Conclusion The management method improves field medical treatment ability of field clinics and adapts the usage management of medical equipments in field clinics.
5.Difficulties and Countermeasures in Expanding Mobile Field Hospital in Earthquake Relief Mission

Objective To analyze and solve the difficulties in rapidly expanding the mobile field hospital in earthquake relief mission.Methods Aimed at the difficulties in the speed,advance men were sent out before the expansion.Then the personnel were regrouped in the proceeding of the expansion,and the vehicles entered the district according to the predefined area and order.Results The expanding speed was raised.Conclusion The scheme meets the requirements of the first aid in the mobile field hospital.
6.Experimental study of BMP-2 derived peptide on osteogenic induction in BMSC in vitro

[Objective]To investigate the capability of synthesis BMP-2-derived peptide on osteogenic induction in bone marrow stem cells(BMSEs),and to evaluate the osteoinductivity of BMP-2-derived peptide in vitro.[Method]After segregating and cultivating four weeks Wistar rats marrow stromal cells in induction group were induced by osteogenasis medium containing 200 gg/ml BMP-2-derived peptide,and in non-inductional group BMSCs were still culture with DMEM medium.Following continue culture for 2~4 weeks,cells film preparation,alkaline phosphatase activity and calcium deposition were measured.Type I collagen(CoM)and osteopontin(OPN)mRNA expression were measured using real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction(FQ-PCR)technique.The capability of synthesis BMP-2-derived peptide on osteogenic induction of BMSCs was investigated.[Result]After inductived with BMP-2-derived peptide.BMSCs cultured survived well greatly changed in cell morphology,and showed a biological and morphologie characteristics similar to those of osteoblasts.The lever of alkaline phosphatase activity and calcium deposition increased.Col-Ⅰand OPN mRNA were expressed at higher level.In non-inductional group no conspicuous osteogenic induction was shown.[Conclusion]BMP-2-derived peptide can induce BMSCs to differentiate into osteoblasts.It has the similar capacity of osteogenic induction as nature BMP-2,so BMP-2-derived peptide is an ideal cell agent for bone tissue engineering,and can be available widely.
7.THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF PULMONARY SCLEROSING HEMANGIOMA

Forty patients with pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma treated from 1971 to 1999 in General itospital of PLA were analyzed retrospectively for clinical and pathological features,and image characteristics. The results showed that 60%(24 of 40) of patients were middle aged or elderly women,and 40% (16 of 40) of patients had symptoms.On chest radiography,the tumor presented as a round or nearly round nodule or mass with sharp and smooth margin in 37 cases(92 5%).All patients received operation without complication or mortality.Immunohistochemical findings indicated that the tumor cells were positive for neuroendocrine markers,and neurosecretory granules were found in tumor cells by electron microscopy.There was no recurrence or metastasis at the follow up. It suggested that pulmonary sclerosing hemangioma is a benign neuroendocrine tumor that has a good prognosis if it is treated by operation.
8.Discussion of mechanisms of rats with depression in Parkinson′s disease treated with Chaigan Jieyou decoction

Objective To build rat models and observe changes of behavior and monoamine of PDD. Methods The rats were injected with 6-OHDA and accepted CUMS for the establishment of PDD model , so as to assess its behavior changes and detect brain tissue monoamine contents by ELISA. Results Significant behavioral and monoamine abnormalities can be observed in model rats. Behavioral and monoamine improvement can be observed after treated with Chaigan Jieyou. Conclusion The PDD model can be established by 6-OHDA and CUMS. Chaigan Jieyou decoction may reach therapeutic purposes by increasing monoamine contents.
9.Surgical diagnosis and treatment of splenic space occupying disease

Objective [WT5”BZ]To improve recognition and differential diagnosis of splenic space occupying disease.[WT5”HZ]Method [WT5”BZ]40 cases admitted from 1983 to 1999 were analyzed retrospectively。[WT5”HZ]Result [WT5”BZ]Twenty six out of 40 cases were of benign splenic disease including one case of cyst, 3 cases of splenic abscesses, 7 cases of splenic tuberculosis, 5 cases of splenic “true” cyst, 4 cases of splenic angiolymphoma, 3 cases of splenic aneurysm, and one each of splenic lymphoangioma, epidermoid cyst and hamartoma. There were 14 cases of malignant tumor, amongwhich,there were two cases of non Hodgkin′s lymphoma and two of leiosarcoma,one angiosarcoma and metastatic splenic malignant tumor in 9 cases.[WT5”HZ]Conclusion [WT5”BZ]Therapeutics should be adopted according the nature of splenic diseases, based on clinical and image characteristics.
