Ten compounds were isolated and purified by column chromatography over silica gel, preparative TLC, and Sephadex LH-20 from the whole plant of Solanum lyratum. The structures were elucidated on the basis of physico-chemical properties and spectral data as 1beta-hydroxy-1 ,2-dihydro-alpha-santonin (1) , boscialin (2) , blumenol C (3), 3beta-hydroxy-5alpha, 6alpha-epoxy-7-megastigmen-9-one(4), dehydrovomifoliol(5) , blumenol A(6), (1'S,2R,5S, 10R) -2-(1', 2'-dihydroxy-l1'-methylethyl) -6,10-dimethylspiro[4,5] dec-6-en-8-one(7) , (1'R,2R,5S,10R)-2-( 1',2'-dihydroxy-l '-methylethyl) -6,1 l0-dimethylspiro[4,5]dec-6-en-8-one( 8) , 2-(1',2'-dihydroxy-1 '-methylethyl) -6,1 0-dimethyl-9-hydroxyspiro [4,5] dec-6-en-8-one (9) , and grasshopper ketone (10). Compounds 1-10 were isolated from this plant for the first time.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of clinical pathway teaching methord in nursing practice teaching. Methods80 junior college nursing students were randomly divided into control and experimental groups. Traditional clinical teaching method was given to control group, while the clinical pathway teaching method was given to observation group. Scores of comprehensive quality after departmental rotation and satisfaction rates of nursing students to teaching method in these two groups were evaluated. ResultsThe experimental group was significantly better than the control group ( P＜0.05 ), and the difference was statistically significant. ConclusionThe clinical pathway can significantly improve the quality of nursing practice teaching.

Objective To investigate the expression of Fas antigen (Fas) and ligand (FasL), placental growth factor (PlGF) in placenta of pregnant women with pre-eclampsia. Methods Expressions of Fas, FasL and PlGF of placenta were determined by immunohistological streptavidin-peroxidase-biotin (SP) method and compared between normal late pregnancy (24 cases) and mild pre-eclampsia (24 cases) and severe pre-eclampsia (24 cases) groups. Results Different expression of levels Fas, FasL and PlGF were observed in the trophoblasts of most placentae. Objective:In the present study,Bac-to-Bac baculovirus expression system was used to obtain recombinant human Cosmc extracellular domain protein,which can lay the foundation for the research about the structure and function of Cosmc protein in vitro,and simultaneously provide ideas for the research of O-glycosylation and related diseases. Methods: The Cosmc extracellular domain ( Cosmc-ED) gene was cloned into a transfer vector pFastBac1 to form the recombinant donor plasmid pFastBac1-Cosmc ED, which was transformed into competent cells DH10Bac. By using blue-white selection and PCR analysis,we could obtain recombinant shuttle vector rBacmid-Cosmc ED. Then, the recombinant gene DNA of rBacmid-Cosmc ED was used to transfect Sf-9 mediated by cationic lipid formulation,and the recombinant baculovirus bacmid was obtained,which was further used to infect the serum-free cell Sf-9 to express Cosmc-ED in the supernatant. Then the protein of interest was detected by SDS-PAGE and Western blot and purified with Ni-NTA affinity column. Results:SDS-PAGE and Western blot analysis showed a specific band about 33 kD,consistent with the interest protein. Mass spectrometry results further prove that the protein was Cosmc extracellular domain protein. Conclusion: Human Cosmc-ED protein can be successfully expressed in Sf-9 insect cells and laid basis for subsequent studies.

OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study is to clarify the association between Cu levels and heart failure(HF)using a meta- analysis approach. METHODS We searched articles in the PubMed, EMbase, CNKI, Wanfang ,VIP and CBM Database published as of August 2016. The case control study on the relationship between serum copper levels and HF were collected and read and extracted by two independent researchers. A Meta analysis was conducted using Stata 12.0 software. RESULTS A total of twenty- one eligible articles, including 893 HF and 654 control subjects, were enrolled. The Meta analysis showed that serum copper levels in HF were higher than control group〔SMD=0.881, 95%CI: (0.487 ,1.264), Z=4.5, P<0.001〕. The sensitivity analysis indicated that the results were reliable. Begg's tests did not find the existence of publication bias. CONCLUSION This meta-analysis indicates that there is a significant association between high Cu serum level and HF.

In this study, the psbA-trnH sequence as DNA barcode was used to evaluate the accuracy and stability for identification pteridophyte medicinal material Pyrrosiae Foliumas from adulterants. Genomic DNA from 106 samples were extracted successfully. The Kimura 2-Parameter (K2P) distances and ML tree were calculated using software MEGA 6.0. The intra-specific genetic distances of 3 original plants were lower than inter-specific genetic distances of adulterants. The ML tree indicated that Pyrrosiae Folium can be distinguished from its adulterants obviously. Therefore, the psbA-trnH sequence as a barcode of the pteridophyte, can accurately and stably distinguish Pyrrosiae Folium from its adulterants.

The purpose of this study is to develop glipizide push-pull osmotic pump (PPOP) tablets by using a formulation design expert system and an artificial neural network (ANN). Firstly, the expert system for the formulation design of osmotic pump of poor water-soluble drug was employed to design the formulation of glipizide PPOP, taking the dissolution test results of Glucotrol XL as the goal. Then glipizide PPOP was prepared according to the designed formulations and the in vitro dissolution was carried out. And in vivo evaluation was carried out between the samples which were similar to Glucotrol XL and the Glucotrol XL in Beagle dogs. The range of the factors of formulation and procedure, which could influence the drug release, was optimized using artificial neural network. Finally, the design space was found. It was found that the target formulation which was similar to Glucotrol XL in dissolution test could be obtained in a short period by using the expert system. The samples which were similar to Glucotrol XL were bio-equivalent to the Glucotrol XL in Beagle dogs. The design space of the key parameter coating weight gain was 9.5%-12.0%. It could be concluded that a well controlled product of glipizide PPOP was developed since the dissolution test standard of our product was more strict than that of Glucotrol XL.

To investigate the distribution of the genes of two major metallo-beta-lactamases (MBL; i.e., IMP and VIM) and class 1 integrons (intI) in the clinical imipenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a total of 65 isolates, from a university hospital in Sichuan between December 2004 and April 2005 were screened for MBL genes by PCR using primers specific for bla ( IMP-1 ), bla ( VIM ) and bla ( VIM-2 ) genes. The MBL-positive isolates were further assessed for class 1 integrons by PCR using specific primers. The nucleotide sequences of several PCR products were also determined. The results revealed that the bla ( VIM ) gene was found in 81.5% (53/65) of all isolates, bla ( VIM-2 ) gene was found in only 1 isolate and the intI gene was observed in 45.3% (24/53) of bla ( VIM )-positive isolates. One isolate carried simultaneously both bla ( IMP-1 ) and intI genes, and to the best of our knowledge this is the first report of such isolate in southwest China. These observations highlight that the genes for VIM beta-lactamase and class 1 integrons were predominantly present among the imipenem-resistant P. aeruginosa tested, confirming the current widespread threat of imipenem-resistant, integron-borne P. aeruginosa.
