Objective:
To evaluate the impact of fine particulate matter ( PM2.5 ) on respiratory diseases and symptoms of community residents in Chun’an County, so as to provide the basis for air pollution treatment strategies.
Methods:
Using the cluster random sampling method, the permanent residents in Qiandaohu Town of Chun’an County were investigated from 2017 to 2018. The demographic information, respiratory diseases and symptoms were collected by using Surveillance Plan for the Impact of Air Pollution ( Haze ) on health ( 2016 Edition ). The air pollutants and meteorological data were collected through Qiandaohu station of Hangzhou Ecology and Environment Monitoring Center and Hangzhou Meteorological Information Center. The effects of PM2.5 on respiratory diseases and symptoms of residents were analyzed with generalized estimating equation.
Results:
Totally 1 181 people aged 6 months to 95 years were recruited, including 557 ( 47.16% ) males and 624 ( 52.84% ) females. Acute nasopharyngitis (common cold) and tracheitis/tonsillitis occurred most frequently, with 203 cases, accounting for 3.44%. The median of daily average concentration of PM2.5 was 24 μg/m3, with the standard exceeding rate of 2.80%. The results showed that PM2.5 increased the risk of acute nasopharyngitis ( common cold ), tracheitis/tonsillitis, cough, expectoration, runny nose, sore throat and nasal congestion ( lag 3 days, OR: 1.015-1.022, 95%CI: 1.001-1.037 ); the effect of PM2.5+PM10 ( OR: 1.020-1.040, 95%CI: 1.006-1.070 ) and PM2.5+O3 ( OR: 1.017-1.024, 95%CI: 1.005-1.035 ) was greater than that of PM2.5 alone on respiratory diseases and symptoms.
Conclusion
Atmospheric PM2.5 exposure in Chun’an County increases the risk of respiratory diseases and symptoms among community residents.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(5):709-712
Objective:
The study is to explore daily violence exposure and its association with campus bullying, to provide theoretical basis for positive development of middle school students.
Methods:
Questionnaire survey was conducted by using Violence Exposure Scale, Normative Beliefs about Aggression Scale, Middle School Students’ Self-control Scale, and Middle School Students’ Campus Bullying Scale. During Aug. to Oct. 2019, 1 372 middle school students were selected by the convenient sampling method as subjects of study from 2 junior high schools and 3senior high schools in Xinxiang.
Results:
The total score in daily violence exposure was (34.22±12.09). The scores of violence exposure, traditional bullying and cyberbullying in female were lower than in male(t=-2.60--6.32, P<0.05). The scores of violence exposure, traditional bullying and cyberbullying in junior high school students were higher than senior high school students(t=4.59-7.50, P<0.05). The relationship between violence exposure and normative beliefs about aggression, traditional bullying, cyberbullying were positive (r=0.20, 0.44, 0.51, P<0.01). The relationship between violence exposure and self-control was negative (r=-0.29, P<0.01) . The relationship between normative beliefs about aggression and traditional bullying, cyberbullying were positive (r=0.28, 0.22, P<0.01). The relationship between normative beliefs about aggression and self-control was negative (r=-0.38, P<0.01). Violence exposure indirectly affects traditional bullying/cyberbullying through normative beliefs about aggression. The effect of normative beliefs about aggression on the traditional bullying/cyberbullying of middle school students is reduced with the increase of self-control.
Conclusion
Normative beliefs about aggression plays an intermediary role in violence exposure and traditional bully/cyberbullying, and self-control regulates the relationship between them.

Objective To investigate changes in morning blood pressure surge (MBPS) and blood hemorheology in patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypoventilation syndrome (OSAHS) of various severity. Methods Total 118 patients with OSHAS diagnosed at the Department of Respiratory Diseases, People's Hospital of Guizhou Province were divided into three groups, i.e. , 31 mild, 40 moderate and 47 severe cases, based on their apnea-hypoventilation index (AHI), and 25 healthy persons were selected as controls. Blood hemorheology, oxygen saturation, morning blood pressure surge of the patients, as well as percentage of the time with oxygen saturation more than 90 percent of the total monitoring time (TS90%) were recorded. Results Early morning blood pressure surge was found in 21 cases (43%) with severe, eight (20%) with moderate and one (3%) with mild OSAHS. All indicators of blood hemarheology and TS90% were significantly higher in the patients with OSAHS than those in controls (P<0.05 ), those in moderate and severe OSAHS were significantly higher than those in controls (P<0.05 ) and those in severe OSAHS was significantly higher than those in moderate and mild OSAHS (P<0.05). All indicators of blood hemorheology were significantly higher in those with early morning blood pressure surge than those without it (P<0.05). Conclusions Blood viscosity, percentage of early morning blood pressure surge and TS90% in the patients with OSAHS are increased with severity of apnea-hypoventilation, and changes in blood hemorheology correlated with early morning blood pressure surge.

Objective To investigate the effects of on-pump and off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting on plasma adrenomedullin (ADM) and endothelin-1 (ET-1) levels before and after operation in elderly patients. Methods Elderly patients aged 60 years and over with coronary artery bypass grafting were enrolled in the study and divided into off-pump group and on-pump group, each group had 20 cases. Blood samples were collected before surgery, immediately after operation and 6,24 hours, 3 days after operation. The plasma levels of ADM and ET-1 were dectecded by radio immunoassay. Results The levels of ADM and ET-1 were significantly increased immediately after operation in 2 groups of on-and off-pump. The levels of ET-1 in on-pump group and off-pump group were (67.59±10.18) ng/L and (58.73±9.64) ng/L respectively. The levels of ADM in on-and off-groups were (284.90±36.24) ng/L and (243.25±25.70) ng/L. This showed that in on-pump group, the plasma levels of ADM and ET-1 increased more significantly(P<0.05). The plasma levels of ADM and ET-1 began to decline at 6 hours after operation, and continued to 24 hours after operation. On 3 days after operation, the plasma levels of ADM and ET-1 in off-pump group returned to the preoperative level, but they were still maintained at a high level in on-pump group. Conclusions For elderly patients, both on-pump and off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting can cause endothelial dysfunction, increasing plasma levels of ET-1 and ADM. But compared with the on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting, the off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting has less influence.
