1.Efficacy and safety of Danhong injection in treatment of angina pectoris: a Meta-analysis
Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2013;(1):66-69
To analyze the efficacy and safety of Danhong injection in treatment of angina pectoris.Literatures of randomized controlled trials on efficacy comparison of Danhong injection and its components in the single herb pharmaceutical preparations (Danshen injection, safflower injection and compound Danshen injection) for patients with angina pectoris due to coronary heart disease were extracted from database including Wan Fang,CNKI,VIP,for all medical publications between 2000 and 2010.Meta-analysis was performed. The Meta-analysis included total 1306 patients in the treatment group of Danhong injection and 1280 patients in the control group from 28 clinical trials. The results showed that clinical effect and electrocardiogram efficacy in Danhong injection group were significantly better than those in control group (RR =1.23,95% CI:1.19-1.27 and RR =1.29,95% CI:1.22-1.37,respectively).The homogeneity of the total effective rate was good; however, there had a great variation in hemorrheologic and the serum lipids indices.Thirteen literatures reported that there was no obvious adverse reaction found in Danhong injection group; 9 literatures did not report adverse reaction.Danhong injection has a significant therapeutic effect and safety in patients with angina pectoris due to coronary heart disease.
2.Prophylaxis and treatment for infection following total knee replacement
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2011;15(43):8137-8141
BACKGROUND: It is difficult to revise replacement due to infection-induced osteodeficiency, osteoporosis, soft tissue lost orcicatrization.OBJECTIVE: To establish the standardized clinical prevention and treatment methods by summarizing the new progress to prevent, diagnosis of the infection, and its effective treatment, as well as rehabilitation evaluation after total Knee replacement. METHODS: A computer-based online search of CNKI and PUBMED database between January 1990 and December 2010 was performed to search related articles with the key words of total knee arthroplasty, infection. A total of 2 346 articles were retrieved. Moreover, related works were manually searched. Totally, 30 articles were included.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: It is better to prevent infection rather than treatment after total knee replacement. Currently, there is lack of a clear diagnosis standard on the infection. In treatment aspect, debridement, revision surgery, and choosing effective antibiotics can effectively control the infection. Meantime, new methods are expected to improve the success rate of infection after total knee replacement. Exercise is a continuation of rehabilitation therapy and an important step in treatment. Therefore, on the basis of total knee replacement, it is important to establish the early prevention of postoperative infection, early diagnosis, effective treatment and rehabilitation evaluation system, in order to minimize the incidence of infection and treat infections timely and effectively.

5.Local Angiogenesis and Neurological Functional Recovery After Cerebral Ischemia
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2006;0(10):-
Cerebral ischemia activates endogenous angiogenic factors, and increase microvessel density and form new capillaries in ischemic brain tissues.Exogenous angiogenic factors can more effectively promote angiogenesis and the establishment of collateral circulation in ischemic regions and peripherial tissues, improving local blood supply and reducing infarct size. The further study of the mechanisms and methods in promoting regional angiogenesis after cerebral ischemia will contribute to improve neurologic deficit.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2001;21(1):84-85
ObjectiveTo compare the results of controlled- release glipizide and immediate-re- lease glipizide in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods22 patients took controlled-release glipi- zide as treating group, 20 took immediate-release glipizide as compared. The glucose tolerance, insulin, C- peptide and HbA1c were measured before and after treatment. ResultsBoth of controlled-release glipizide and immediate-release glipizide had good results for controlling blood sugar, but controlled-re- lease glipizide did not increase insulin and C-peptide level. Conclusion The controlled-release glipizide had safe and reliable results for controlling blood sugar and decreasing insulin resistence.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2006;0(10):-
Cerebral infarction is not only a focal damage, but also causes secondary damage in areas remote from the ischemic territory, which will retard the recovery of neurological function.Ephrin receptor B2 (EphB2) plays an important role in the development and repair mechanism of central nervous system.Blocking the effect of EphB2 in brain by using a specific inhibitor may enhance proliferation and migration of endogeneous neuronal stem cells after experimental cerebral infarc- tion, improve neurological function and influence angiogenesis and neuroplasticity in remote sites. It is expected to become a new approach for decreasing damages in areas remote from the cerebral infarction and promoting the recovery of neurological function.
10.NR2B Receptor Antagonists and Their Application in Ischemic Cerebrovascular Diseases
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2006;0(10):-
Neuronal damage is associated with the excessive stimulation of N-Methyl-D- Aspartate (NMDA) receptors by glutamate during cerebral ischemia.Because of non-selective NMDA receptor antagonist can influence all NMDA receptors and produce adverse effects, and its clinical application has been restricted significantly,an increasing attention has been paid to the selective NMDA receptor in recent years.NR2B subunit antagonists are mainly divided into piperidine derivatives, amide derivatives, amidine derivatives, and aminoquinoline derivatives, etc. The representative drugs include ifenprodil and eliprodil. These drugs can selectively act on NMDA receptor NR2B subunit, and they are expected to become safe and effective neuropro- tective agents in clinical practice.
