The diagnostic value of Doppler colour flow image (DCFI) was assessed in a. group of 35 patients with rheumatic matral valvular disease. The conformable rate to the results of operation was 100%, while it is 96% for 50 Patients with congenital heart disease. The study was shown that there was a high degree of diagnostic accuracy of DCFI (r=0.9401) in the quantitative value of 20 patients with VSD by correlation analysis
2.A study of the time-dependent changes in myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(05):-
The time-dependent changes in myocardio membrane system during ischemia/reperfusion injury were studied with ligature of the left ventricular branch of coronary artery in rabbit. The permeability of cardiac membrane system being tested by using lanthanum tracer technique and stereological methods. Lanthanum granules were observed in the sarplacosma and sarccpiasmic tubes especially at ischemia for 20min. The pecmeability of membrane system for La~(+++) was more marked when hearts were reperfused for 20min. With the increase in time of ischemia, the changes became more and more serious. A lot of lanthanum granules were entered into mitochondria when the hearts were reperfused after 40min ischemia. There were neither intact mitichondria nor lanthanum granules in mitochondria observed when the hearts were reperfused after 60min ischemia. The structural changes were irreversible at this stage of reperfusion The results of our study indicated that the changes of permeability of cardiac cell for La~(+++) in ischcmia/reperfusion are time-dependent, 40min ischemia is the demarcation line between the reversible and irreversible injury during reperfusion. On the basis of our experiment, we like to propose a new conception of reversible and irreversible injury of reperfusion.

Objective To examine the effect of endothelial colony-forming cells conditioned medium(ECFCs-CM)on biological function of human dermal fibroblasts(HDFs). Methods Human cord blood derived-ECFCs were isolated and identified based on the previous studies. The cytokines in ECFCs-CM were detected using a cytokines antibody array. HDFs were cultured with ECFCs-CM,using serum free EBM-2 as control. The proliferation of HDFs was examined by Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)and the migration was assessed by scratch test assay. The apoptosis of HDFs was detected by flow cytometry. Results The cells isolated from human cord blood demonstrated typical characteristics of ECFCs. The cytokines antibody array indicated that ECFCs-CM contained large amounts of secreted cytokines such as PDGF-BBand EGF. Compared with the control group, the HDFs cultured with ECFCs-CM showed improved proliferation and migration ability. The number of apoptotic cells was smaller than that of the control group under the environment of serum starvation. Conclusion ECFCs-CM can promote the proliferation and migration of HDFs and inhibit the apoptosis of HDFs under the environment of serum starvation.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of atorvastatin with different doses on related indicators and major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). METHODS:120 patients with AMI after PCI were randomly divided into conventional dose group(60 cases)and high dose group (60 cases). All patients were immediately given low molecular weight heparin,Aspirin enteric-coated tablet,Clopidogrel bisulfate tablet,Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor,β-blockers,nitrates and other conventional treatment;based on it,conventional dose group was given 20 mg Atorvastatin calcium tablet, once every day before bedtime;high dose group was given 40 mg Atorv-astatin calcium tablet, once every day before bedtime. The treatment course for both groups was 1 month. Total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),C-reactive protein (CRP),OX40L,interleukin (IL)-6 levels in 2 groups before and after treatment were observed, the correlation among OX40L with CRP and IL-6 were analyzed, and the incidence of MACE in 2 groups was recorded after 1 month follow-up. RESULTS:Be-fore treatment, there were no significant differences in the TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C,OX40L,CRP and IL-6 between 2 groups (P>0.05). After treatment, TG, TC, LDL-C, OX40L, CRP and IL-6 were aignificantly lower than before, TC, LDL-C, OX40L,CRP and IL-6 in high dose group were lower than conventional dose group,HDL-C was significantly higher than before, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01 or P<0.05);but there was no significant difference in the HDL-C between 2 groups(P>0.05). Before treatment,OX40L showed positive correlation with CRP(r=0.746,P<0.01)and IL-6(r=0.763,P<0.01);after treatment,OX40L also showed positive correlation with CRP (r=0.755,P<0.01) and IL-6 (r=0.760,P<0.01). The incidence of MACE in high dose group were significantly lower than conventional dose group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Based on the conventional treatment, atorvastatin can significantly reduce lipid,inflamma-tion levels and incidence of MACE,but the effect is more significant in high dose.

Objective: To analyze the expression of mecp2 gene at mRNA and protein;Cerebral cortex level in the cerebral cortex of the normal Wistar rat throughout development. Methods: We chose the 15th day (E15), 17th day (E17), 19th day (E19) of embryo period, the day of birth (P0), the 7th day (P7), the 14th day (P14), the 28th day (P28) of postnatal period, and adulthood as analyzing time points. The expression of mecp2 gene at mRNA level was analyzed by real time PCR and Northern blot. The expression of MeCP2 protein was analyzed by Western blot. Results: There was one type of mecp2 mRNA transcript (approximately 10 kb) expressed in the cerebral cortex of the normal Wistar rat. The expression level of mecp2 mRNA varied subtly during the development. There was one type of MeCP2 protein (75 000) expressed in the cerebral cortex of the normal Wistar rat. The expression level of MeCP2 protein remained the lowest on E15, from E19 to adulthood the expression levels of MeCP2 protein increased dramatically compared with that on E15. From P7 to adulthood, the differences of expression between two time points were subtle. Conclusion: The expression level of MeCP2 protein increases as the neurons in the cerebral cortex of normal Wistar rat grow mature. This indicates that MeCP2 protein is very important to neuron's maturation, and probably has relationship with maintaining maturation state of neurons.
