Objective To study the effects of Genistein - magnetic - nanoparticles at different concentrations on the growth and ex-pression of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) in human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line HcpG2. Methods Activities of HepG2 cells treated by Genistein - magnetic - nanoparticles were examined by MTT assay. The expression of FAK mRNA and protein was respectively detected by immunohistochemistry staining and reversed transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT - PCR) . Results Genistein - magnetic -nanoparticles at a concentration of 10 -80mg/L inhibited the proliferation of HepG2 cells, with obvious concentration - dapendent and time - dependent effect relationships (P < 0.05). After treatment with various concentrations of Genistein - magnetic - nanoparticles for 48h, the relative level of FAKmRNA of Genistein - magnetic - nanoparticles and control groups was 1.242 ± 0.031,1.213 ± 0.443,0.834 ± 0.044,0.652 ± 0.039,0.446 ± 0.041, and 1.443 ± 0.053 (F = 21.97 ,P < 0.05), respectively. The expression of FAK protein in the cells was decreased, which showed an obvious a concentration - effect relationship. Conclusion Genistein - magnetic - nanoparticles can reduce the mRNA and protein expressions of FAK and inhibit the proliferation of HepG2 cells.

Objective To study the relationship between level of plasma glucose and cognitive function in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods Two hundred PD patients were assessed cognitive function using Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE),Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA),Wechsler Intelligence Scale and Wechsler Memory Scale. The patients were divided into cognitive normal group (n=91) and cognitive impairment group (n=109).One hundred twenty-six normal subjects were enrolled as control group (n=126).The levels of fasting plasma glucose (FPG),postprandial plasma glucose (2hPPG),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) and the prevalence of diabetes mellitus were compared among the groups. The effect of blood glucose level on the cognitive function of PD patients was analyzed by Binary Logistic Regression. Results The levels of FPG,HbAlc and the prevalence of diabetes mellitus [5.19 (0.72),5.7% (0.5%),14%] were significantly higher than those in the normal control group [4.85(0.79),5.6% (0.5%),6%] (P<0.05).The levels of FPG in PD patients with cognitive impairment [5.21 (1.32)] was significantly higher than that in PD patients with cognitive normal group [4.81 (0.95)] (P<0.05).Although 2hPPG and HbAlc increased slightly in PD patients with cognitive impairment, the difference did not reach an significant level (P>0.05).Binary Logistic Regression analysis showed that FPG(OR:1.764;95% CI:0.06-3.244;P=0.068) was not associated with the impaired cognitive function in PD patients. Conclusion The present study has not revealed an association between the incidence of cognitive impairment in patients with PD and plasma glucose level although high plasma glucose may be a high risk factor for PD patients.

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of the medial perforator flap of the first plantar artery for repairing the soft tissue defect near the first metatarsophalangeal joint. Methods:From January 2016 to April 2018, 10 patients of soft tissue defect near the first metatarsophalangeal joint were treated in the Department of Orthopedics, Shandong Police General Hospital, including 6 males and 4 females, aged 22-61 years old, with an average age of 40 years. The defects of the feet were recovered by the medial perforator flap of the first plantar artery, and the flap donor defects were covered by split-thickness skin grafts. Results:All flaps and skin grafts of the patients were survived. All patients were followed up for 12-22 months postoperationly/after operation. The flaps were not swollen or ruptured, and the patients walked normally with full weight-bearing.Conclusions:The perforator artery of this flap is consistant, the harvesting of the flap is simple, and the texture of skin is similarwith surrounding tissue, there is no deficit to the flood supply of the foot after harvesting the flap. So, it is an ideal choice for repairing the defect of the soft tissue near the first metatarsophalangeal joint.
