Microphthalmos is a developmental disorder of the eye consisting of a smaller cornea,coloboma of iris and choroid and nystagmus.It can present as an isolated disease or associate with other systemic disor- ders.Cataract commonly occurs in these eyes.Ten eyes which received cataract extraction and intraocular lens implant were reviewed in this paper.If the diameters of the cornea are smaller than 8mm,the surgical results arc not good;otherwise it is safe and successful.

As the development of the microsurgical technique,cataract surgery rapidly got good result and visual acuity,and patients had been demanded for higher visual quality.Because of popular surgical equipments,shorter surgical time and better efficiency,some unpractical advertisements appeared.So the medical dispute associated with cataract surgery has been increasing.The factors associated with medical dispute and how to prevent them will be discussed.

Objective To explore the influence of periodical health education on self-care capability and living quality of patients with connective tissue diseases complicated with interstitial lung disease. Methods A total of 92 cases of patients with connective tissue diseases complicated with interstitial lung disease who were received and treated from January 2013 to October 2015 were selected as objects of study. The patients were divided into the observation group and the control group with 46 cases in each group according to the admission time. Both of the two groups were given conventional oxygen uptake therapy, non-steroidal anti infection therapy, expansion of blood vessels therapy and immune regulation therapy. The control group adopted usual care, while the observation group adopted periodical health education. The clinical efficacy, self-management ability, living quality and other indicators of the two groups were compared. Results The effective rate of observation group was 93.48%(43/46), and the effective rate of control group was 78.26%(36/46), The difference between the 2 groups was statistically significant (χ2=4.389, P < 0.05). The observation group related disease knowledge, self-care behavior, attitude adjustment, oxygen inhalation and respiratory function exercise with 5 self-care scores were higher than control group, the difference between the 2 groups was statistically significant (t=3.468-4.348, P<0.05). The observation group related physiological function, physiological rate function, physical pain, overall health, vitality, social function, emotional function, mental health 8 quality of life scores were higher than control group, the difference between the 2 groups was statistically significant (t= 2.261-5.456, P < 0.05). Conclusions Periodical health education is conductive to improving the self-care capability and living quality of patients with connective tissue diseases complicated with interstitial lung disease.

Objective To compare the accuracy of intraocular lens(IOL)power calculations by using 6 formulas(SRK-T,Haigis,Binkhorst-Ⅱ,Hoffer Q,Holladay-1,SRK-Ⅱ)in different axial lengths of the eye,in order to improve the accuracy of predicating IOL powers for patients after cataract surgery.Design Retrospective comparative clinical analysis.Participants 169 patients(169 eyes)with age-related cataract underwent regular phacoemulsification and posterior chamber IOL implantation.Methods 169 eyes with cataract were divided into five groups according to the axial lengths:AXL≤22mm,22mm28.4mm.The axial lengths and keratometry of the 169 eyes were measured with A-mode ultrasound before operation,and the actual postoperative refraction was measured with the methods of computer and retinoscopy optometry when patients could gain best corrected visual acuity one month after surgery or later.Inputting the axial lengths,keratometry and IOL powers into A-mode ultrasound,the predicted postoperative refraction was calculated with SRK-T,Haigis,Binkhorst-Ⅱ,Hoffer Q,Holladay-1,SRK-Ⅱ formulas,and the differences of predicted and actual postoperative refractions in different axial lengths were compared.Main Outcome Measures The absolute value with the differences of the predicted and actual postoperative refractions,i.e.absolute predicted errors.Results(1)Comparing the difference of predicted and actual postoperative refraction,there was no statistical significance between the five formulas in the groups of axial length(AXL)≤22mm,22mm28.4mm,but the average absolute predicted error of Haigis and SRK-T formulas is significantly smaller than SRK-Ⅱand Binkhorst-Ⅱ formulas.Conclusions In existing sample size,there was no obvious influence on postoperative refraction when using other five formulas except Binkhorst-Ⅱ.But in the extremely long AXL group,Haigis and SRK-T formulas have some ascendancy over the other formulas.

Objective To parse the concept of self-management in the context of coronary heart disease based on the content analysis,to clarify the connotation of the concept of self-management.Methods Thirty-four references were recruited through the databases of CNKI,VIP journals knowledge service platform,Wanfang Data Services Platform and Pubmed.We broke the concept of self-management in the context of coronary heart disease into such three aspects as implementing body,major behavior,and facilitators.Results The most common indicators were symptom management(which was mentioned by 78.57％ of domestic literature and 66.67％ of foreign literature),and protect and promote healthcame second,the person with the chronic diseasewas 42.85％,other indicators' frequency existed differences.The major body of coronary artery disease self-management was the patient itself,with the help of assist staff and using lifestyle management,symptom management,rehabilitation and exercise,environmental control,emotional awareness behavior management and medication to maintain patients' satisfactory functional status.Conclusions To parse the concept of self-management in the context of coronary heart disease can be applied as the basis for clinical nursing research and build an effective reference and guidance for future coronary heart disease self-management model building.

Objective We sought to evaluate the effect of structured health education on quality of life and the end point of patients with coronary disease with evidence-based method.Methods The Cochrane Library,Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR),Medline (OVID),Pubmed and Web of Science were searched to collect the randomized controlled trials (RCT) which mentioned the structured health education to CHD patients,the quality of the RCTs was evaluated by Jadad Score,then effective data were extracted and analyzed by Meta-analysis with RevMan 5.2 software.Results A total of 12 eligible studies of RCT were included in the study with Jadad Score evaluations at B level or above.There were 20 476 cases in the intervention group,14 522 cases in the control group.Meta-analysis showed that the quality of life scores of the intervention group were significantly higher than those of the control group,weighted mean difference was 3.29,95％ CI (0.49-6.09).No significant difference was found in cardiac morbidity outcomes,re-hospitalization and the mortality rate,relative risk,95％ confidence interval were respectively 0.72(0.50-1.04),0.98(0.86-1.11),0.77(0.58-1.03).Conclusions The structured health education can improve the quality of life of patients with coronary disease,but has no obvious effect on the cardiac morbidity outcomes,re-hospitalization and mortality rate.We suggest transitional care to be carried out in future research to decrease the incidence rates of them.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT)in diagnosis of internal abdominal hernia (IAH).Methods The MSCT findings in 1 5 patients with IAH confirmed by surgery were retrospectively analyzed.Results MSCT showed intestinal obstruction in 14 patients with strangulating intestinal obstruction in 8.The typical features of MSCT were as follows:translocated position of intestines (occupying effect),closed loop intestinal obstruction (gathered intestinal loops with different forms),assembled,expanded and translocated blood vessels of mesenteries,and thickened intestinal walls with ischemic edema and abnormal density.Surgical results showed paraduodenal hernia in 2,transomental hernia in 2,transmesenteric hernia in 5,ankylenteron strap hernias in 4,pericecal hernia in 1 and hernia through the Douglas fossa in 1,Intestinal obstruction in 14 and strangulating intestinal obstruction in 8 were also confirmed by surgery.The CT findings of IAH were correlated with the surgical results,and the accurate rate of grading of intestinal obstruction with CT was also consistent with the surgical results (Kappa=0.758,t=3.462,P=0.001).Conclusion IAH can be diagnosed accurately by MSCT in most patients,MSCT is helpful for guiding the surgical programs.

Objective To study the function of atractylodes macrocephala koidz volatile oil for transplanted tumor in animals. Methods The animal model of transplanted tumor-ECA was used. The anti-tumor function of atractylodes macrocephala koidz volatile oil was observed. Results Atractylodes macrocephala koidz volatile oil can suppress ECA when given at 100 mg/kg and 50 mg/kg doses into abdominal cavity. When a larger dose at 150 mg/kg was given, the life-span of mice can extended to 197 %. Conclusion Atractylodes macrocephala koidz volatile oil can suppress tumor effectively.

Objective: To understand the effects of different expansion ways on collagen and actin of skin and to provide an experiment foundation for the suitable expansion method clinically. Methods: The rabbits were divided into five groups. The expanders were embedded in experimental group. The sirius-red specific staining method was applied to observe the changes of type I collagen and type III collagen and their proportion. Immunochemistry method was used to detect the expression of actin. Results: 1: In group A, B and C, type I collagen arranged turbulently and was thicker and type III collagen decreased relatively at earlier maintaining period. After 4 week, type I collagen arranged regularly and type III collagen was relatively increased. 2: Comparisons of the area about type I, III collagen: At the same maintaining period, there were no significant difference among the group A,B and C. With the extension of maintaining period, the area of type I, III collagen increased gradually, but there was inclined to stabilize at the fourth week in group A, B and at the third week in group C. Comparison of the proportion of collagen I and collagen III: There were significant difference between group A, B and group D, but no significant difference was observed after the fourth week. There were significant difference between group C and control group, but no significant difference was observed after three week. 3. With the extension of maintaining period, the positive expression rates of actin decreased gradually in group A, B, C. At the same maintaining period, significant difference were observed among group A, B, C. The positive expression rates of actin in group C were lower than that of group A at the same maintaining period. Conclusion: The repeated rapid expansion can not only shorten the clinical period but also promote the quality of skin flap. It is a safe and feasible method in clinic.

AIM: To observe the curative effect of Compound Shouwu Granule on hyperlipemia. METHODS: Compound Shouwu Granule was composed of Radix Polygoni multiflori,Fructus,Crataegi Hirudo,Radix Puerariae,Lobatae,etc.the herbs were extracted with the method of percolation respectively.Each gram of extract equals to 8.2 g original medicine material.to take 2 g,each time,twice a day.Six weeks was one treating course.Patients were treated for two treating course.The changes of total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein(HDL-C) s,low density lipoprotein(LDL-C)s,were compared before and after treatment. RESULTS: The blood fat descended obviously after 6 weeks treatment. After 12 weeks,the TC descended by 38.4%,the TG descended by 80.8%,the HDL-C went up (91.3%),the LDL-C descended by (30.9%)(P
