According to the principle of immunomagnetic separation, a novel high-efficient immunomagnetic isolator termed as CMSI 100 for the purification of human CD34 + hematopoietic cells was designed and successfully developed. To do this , neodymium iron boron having magnetic properties superior to any other permanent magnet materials was selected as the key parts of CMSI 100 isolator. The core of the magnet assembly was constructed by sandwiching mild steel bars between 4 pieces of magnet bars of neodymium iron boron. Each piece of magnet bars must be limited to the specifications of 3.5cm?2.0cm?0.3cm so that 2 700 gauss magnetic attractive force could be exerted at the magnet surface. Otherwise magnetic field above the surface of the magnet assembly is either very stronger or weaker, both of which are not beneficial to the enrichment of CD34 + hematopoietic cells. With CMSI 100 immunomagnetic isolator, more than 90% purity and over 95% viability of CD34 + hematopoietic cells could be obtained. These data indicate that CMSI 100 immunomagnetic isolator is as good as the internationally used Isolex TM 50 made by Baxter Company in USA.

Pelvic fractures accounted for about 3% of all fracture patients. With the development of the industry, the increase of the mechanical work, car accidents, falls and other accidents occurred frequently, in every 100000 people per year on average, there are 20 to 27 people with pelvic fracture.Among them, the proportion of patients with high energy injury increased significantly, and the teratogenic rate, disability rate and mortality rate remained high.Meanwhile, people's understanding of pelvic fracture and their demands for quality of life are getting higher and higher.Based on the diagnosis and treatment progress of pelvic fracture in recent years, the treatment of emergency treatment, reduction, fixation and sequelae of pelvic fracture were reviewed.

Acute Stanford type A aortic dissection with important branches involved is more complex, could lead to organ malperfusion syndrome even organ failure. The understanding of pathological anatomy, classification, staging, and the pathophysiological change has increasingly mature, but not complete. In addition, the treatment strategy for complex lesions is diversified, some questions may not reach consensus. Fully understanding of the anatomical and pathophysiology is very important for surgeons to choose reasonable treatment strategy. As the rapid development of the basic research, imaging techniques and the concept of surgery procedures, the manage technique of Stanfrod type A dissection and branch vessels at the same time is getting seriously, the related issues also need further discussions.

OBJECTIVEAnalyzing the performance of microbial barrier of needleless positive pressure closed connectors.
METHODSThree kinds of brand needleless positive pressure closed connectors were chosen to do the access of microorganisms test.
RESULTSPositive results were detected in the three experimental groups.
CONCLUSIONSSo far, lots of the connectors are not qualified strictly on the market, some improvement is required in the structure design and process.

OBJECTIVE To study protective effect and potential mechanism of Modified yupingfeng nasal spray (YPF+) on nasal mucosal injury in allergic rhinitis (AR) model rats. METHODS AR model was induced by ovalbumin (OVA) and randomly divided into model group, YPF+group (50 µg/side,twice a day), positive control group (Mometasone furoate aqueous nasal spray, 50 µg/side,once a day); the blank group was set up, with 10 rats in each group. Administration groups were given relevant medicine, and blank group and model group were given equivalent normal saline for consecutive 4 weeks. Thirty minutes after last medication, the behavioral scores of rats were recorded, and the pathological changes of their nasal mucosa tissue were observed. The level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in nasal mucosa tissue was detected. The protein and mRNA expressions of nucleotide- binding oligomerization domain-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3),caspase-1,gasdermin D (GSDMD) were detected; the contents of interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and IL-18 in serum were also determined. RESULTS Compared with blank group, in model group, the nasal mucosa tissue structure was disordered, inflammatory cells infiltrated seriously, and lamina propria vascular dilation was visible; its behavioral score and pathological score, the level of ROS, protein and mRNA expressions of NLRP3, caspase-1 and GSDMD, serum contents of IL-1β and IL-18 in nasal mucosa tissue were increased significantly (P<0.05). Compared with model group, the symptoms of nasal mucosal injury in rats of each drug group were improved to varying degrees, and the above indicators were significantly reduced (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS YPF+ may improve nasal mucosal injury of rats, relieve AR symptoms such as sneezing, itchy nose, runny nose, the mechanism of which may be associated with reducing the production of ROS in nasal mucosa and downregulating NLRP3/caspase-1/ GSDMD pathway.
