Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2001;28(1):11-16
Implantation window is the transient period when the embryos develop into blastocysts and the uterus differentiates into the receptive state synchronically. Estrogen and progesterone are the comprehensive regulating molecules during this process. They influence the proliferation and differentiation of multiple cell types in the uterus through the modulation of various local-signaling molecules.Uterus and blastocyst interact by the paracrine effects of prostaglandin, histamine, calcitonin, cytokines and growth factors at implantation window. This molecular cross-talk modulates the interaction between trophectoderm and uterine luminal epithelium. Once the implantation window is open, it then switches into unreceptive state spontaneously.

AimTo investigate the protective effect of nerve growth factor (NGF) from the Chinese cobra venom on spinal neurons after sciatic nerve lesion. Methods Fourty Wistar rats were divided into 2 groups each containing 20 animals. After surgical crush lesion on the bilateral sciatic nerve, the rats were injected NGF into the target muscle every day. On the d 5 and d 10 after operation, enzyme histochemistry technique was used to show acetycholinesterase(AchE) activity of the motoneurons in L5~S2 spinal cord anterior hornandfluorideresistantacidphophatase (FRAP) activity of substantia gelatinosa in L5~ S2 spinal cord posterior horn. The activity of enzyme was analysed with computer image analysis system. Results Compared with the control group, the activity of FRAP in NGF group was higher on the d 5 and d 10 after operation and the activity of AchE in NGF group was higher on the d 10 after operation. ConclusionIt is demonstrated that NGF could protect the mononeurons in spinal cord anterior horn and the sensory neurons in dorsal root ganglia after axotomy.

There were some shortcomings for traditional teaching mode of nutrition and food hygiene course, such as many teaching contents and little teaching time, students much passively learning and little active learning. We explored the combination of the WeChat and the TBL teaching to conduct the flipped classroom to solve the deficiency. The teaching pattern was conducted in 60 students majoring in preventive medicine from Grade 2012. The learning task of nutrition and food hygiene was released on the WeChat before the class. Students learned knowledge in the form of discussion based on case in the class. After the class, the discussion, answer the question and test were conducted on the WeChat. The survey showed that 85% of the students were satisfied with teaching pattern, especially satisfied with its role of broadening students' knowledge and vision, improving their autonomous learning ability, teamwork ability, and their ability to analyze and solve problems.

OBJECTIVE:To optimize the preparation technology of Sinomenine topical paste. METHODS:Using“initial vis-cous force”,“holding viscous force”and“peeling strength”as index, heating and stirring time (A,h),heating temperature (B,℃) and the sequence of adding composition (softening agent, blank matrix and sinomenine)(C) as influential factors, the preparation technology of Sinomenine topical paste was optimized by orthogonal test and verified. At the same time, the content of sinomenine was determined by HPLC method. RESULTS:The optimal preparation technology of Sinomenine topical pasta was as follows as adding blank matrix and sinomenine, and then adding softening agent, heating at 80 ℃,stirring for 1 h. In verification test,RSD of comprehensive score for 3 batches of samples were 2.09%(n=3);average contents of samples were 6.7 mg/g, which was in line with the requirement of ≥6.0 mg/g. CONCLUSIONS:The optimal preparation technology of Sinomenine topical pasta is reasonable, stable and feasible. The paste shows good adhesiveness and is qualified in content.

Objective Inhibitor of growth 1 ( ING1 ) gene has been identified as a novel candidate of tumor suppressor gene .Over-expression of ING1 plays well-established roles in numerous cell processes ,inclu-ding DNA repair and cell apoptosis .Our study is to investigate the clinical significances of expression of ING 1 in colorectal cancer ( CRC) .Methods The mRNA level of ING1 in 82 matched samples comprising primary CRC and paired non-cancerous mucosa were detected and compared by quantitative RT -PCR.Then the correlations of mRNA level of ING1 with the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of patients with CRC were ana -lyzed.Results (1)In the same matched tissues, the expression level of ING1 was significantly higher in normal tissues than that in cancer tissues.(2)mRNA expression of ING1 was associated with certain clinical -pathologic variables such as tumor infiltrating level ,lymphatic metastasis, distant metastasis and advancing TNM stage .(3) We obtained the expression levels ratio of cancer tissue and normal tissue and found the lower ratio has a lower Disease-Free Survival(DFS)(P<0.0001).(4)ING1,as a candidate of tumor suppressor gene ,remained a sta-tistically-significant prognostic marker in the Cox regression analysis .Conclusion Down-regulation of ING1 may be correlated tightly with the occurrence and progression of sporadic colorectal cancer .Its expression level can be used to predict prognosis of CRC .

Objective To investigate the graduate students' mental pressure after the full im-plementation of the charging system and explore effective countermeasures of alleviating the psycho-logical pressure. Methods 413 full-time graduate students of Grade 2014 were randomly selected in a university of Shandong province. The graduate students' psychological pressure scale and self-designed questionnaire survey were used. The data were analyzed using SPSS 17.0 software, statistical descrip-tion of the survey data, independent sample t test, ANOVA. Results ①The psychological pressure of full-time graduate students at their own expense was in themedium pressure level; ②The economic pressure and academic pressure of the male graduate students were higher than those of the female graduate students (P=0.000,P=0.042), the rural economic pressures were greater than urban students graduate students graduate students (P=0.000); Professional graduate economic pressures were greater than academic graduate students (P=0.027);There is difference in the pressure of interpersonal commu-nication among different majors (P=0.016); ③78.75% (315/400) of the graduate students tuition fees, living expenses were mainly from their parents and the national and school awards; ④The percentage of those who completely agreed with the following view: full charge than at public expense is more advantageous to graduate education, comprehensive charge is advantageous to the education career development and comprehensive charge embodies the fairness of education was 84.75% (339/400), 71.25% (285/400) and 68.00% (272/400). Conclusion The full-time graduate students at their own expense have a more rational understanding of the charging policy; economic and academic pressures are the two outstanding pressure sources of the graduate students at the present stage. Graduate should improve their ability to cope with stress, and government and schools should take various measures to help students relieve stress.
