OBJECTIVETo develop a solvent desorption gas chromatographic method for determination of n-pentanol in the workplace air.
METHODSn-Pentanol in the workplace air was collected with activated carbon tubes, desorbed with 2% 2-propanol in carbon disulfide, separated with a nitroterephthalic acid-modified FFAP capillary column, and detected with flame ionization detector.
RESULTSThe limit of detection was 0.2 mg/L; the lower limit of quantification was 0.6 mg/L; the linear range was 0.6-4072.0 mg/L. The minimum detectable mass concentration was 0.2 mg/m3 for 1.5 L of air sample. This method was highly repeatable. The relative standard deviations were 2.3%-5.4%. The average desorption efficiencies were 86.9%-94.2%. The absorption efficiencies were 100%. The breakthrough volume was above 8.0 mg in 100-mg activated carbon. The samples in activated carbon tubes could be stored for at least 14 days at room temperature.
CONCLUSIONThe method is feasible for determination of n-pentanol in the workplace air.

OBJECTIVETo study the effect of peri-implantitis inflammatory microenvironment on the biological function of jaw bone osteoblasts.
METHODSPrimary mandible osteoblasts from peri-implantitis and normal tissue were isolated and cultured. Third-generation purified osteoblasts were identified and detected. The proliferative activity of osteoblasts was evaluated through MTT assay. Osteocalcin (OCN), Runx2, and collagen I (Col I) mRNA levels were examined by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction. OCN protein levels were determined by Western blot.
RESULTS: After 4 d of culture, the proliferative activity of osteoblasts from peri-implantitis became lower than that of normal tissue ( P <0.05). After 7 d of culture, OCN, Runx2, and Col I mRNA expression decreased ( P <0.05). The OCN protein levels also decreased ( P <0.05).
CONCLUSIONPeri-implantitis inflammatory microenvironment can decrease the proliferation and differentiation activity of mandible osteoblasts.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of internal distraction osteogenesis in the treatment of complicated teeth-maxillofacial deformity. Methods:Clinical data of 1 0 cases with complicated teeth-maxillofacial deformity were analyzed retrospectively. In the first stage, the patients were operated by internal distraction osteogenesis. In the second stage, the distractor was removed after 3 to 6 months of consolidation period, followed by other operation for further occlusal reconstruction. Results:All the operations were per-formed as planned. The distraction distance was 7 -70 mm.The distraction process was smooth in all the cases.Occlusion was recon-structed and the deformity was corrected by following operation satisfactorily. Conclusion:Internal distraction osteogenesis is effective in the treatment of complicated teeth-maxillofacial deformity for further occlusal reconstruction and functional repair.

OBJECTIVETo compare the effects of oblique insertion at anatomical points and conventional acupuncture for sacroiliac joint injury.
METHODSEighty patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 40 cases in each one. In the observation group, oblique insertion therapy at anatomical points was used, and the 9 points of equal division (anatomical points) marked by palpating the anatomical symbol were treated as the insertion acupoints. In the control group, conventional acupuncture was applied, and perpendicular insertion was adopted at Huantiao (GB 30), Zhibian (BL 54) and Weizhong (BL 40), etc. In the two groups, the! treatment was given once a day and 5 times per week. Ten treatments were made into one course and two courses were required. The clinical effects, the changes of visual analogue scale (VAS) and Oswestry dysfunctional index. (ODI) before and after treatment were observed in the two groups.
RESULTSThe total effective rate of the observation group was 90.0% (36/40), which was better than 72.5% (29/40) of the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the results of the VAS and ODI of the two groups were apparently declined (both P < 0.01), and those in the observation group were decreased more obviously (both P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe effect of oblique inser-tion at anatomical points for sacroiliac joint injury is superior to that of conventional acupuncture, which can effectively relieve pain and improve the disfunction.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the activity of Pyrazinamide gel against Mycob ac terium tuberculosis in vitro and its security in bronchial interventional therap y METHODS:The MIC and MBC of Pyrazinamide and Pyrazinamide gel were measured b y handwork method and instrument method and secuity of Pyrazinamide gel was asse ssed by bronchial interventional therapy in rabbits RESULTS:The MICs of pyrazi namide gel to M tuberculosis H37 RV,M bovis and M phlei were 1mg/L,1mg/L,1 0mg/L,the MBCs of Pyrazinamide gel to M tuberculosis H37RV,M bovis and M ph lei were 10mg/L,10mg/L,40mg/L respectively;the MIC and MBC of Pyrazinamide gel and those of Pyrazinamide had no significant differences;the animal security ex periment was negative CONCLUSION:These results suggest that Pyrazinamide gel a nd Pyrazinamide have the same efficacy against M tuberculosis, because carbomer dose not affect the activity of Pyrazinamide against M tuberculosis;Pyrazinami de gel which contains carbomer is safe in bronchial interventional therapy

Fear memories are temporarily suppressed after repeated retrieval, a phenomenon known as memory extinction. How to reduce or even eliminate fear memory is the key to the treatment of fear related diseases such as post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD). A single extinction training based on Pavlov's fear regulation task could only inhibit the expression of conditioned fear memory traces, but it could not eliminate the acquired conditioned fear memory. However, according to the reconsolidation theory based on memory, the retrieval-extinction paradigm has a more lasting effect on the erasure and rewriting of fear memory, and can effectively prevent the return of fear memory. Studies have shown that extraction-regression is closely related to a variety of neurotransmitter receptors such as glutamate receptor(GluR), dopamine receptor(DAR), L-type voltage-gated calcium channels(LVGCs) and cannabinoid. Moreover, its effect is closely related with factors such as retrieval-extinction memory stage. At present, most of the researches on extracted boundary conditions only stay at the level of behavior, with little understanding and exploration on the level of molecular mechanism. From the perspective of molecular neurobiology, with different stages of memory and different types of receptors and molecular mechanisms, this research reviewed the mechanisms of retrieval-extinction in recent years. It provided valuable signaling pathways, molecular targets and research directions for the treatment of fear-related diseases such as PTSD.

Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2023;29(7):552-556
Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) refers to adenocarcinoma originating from the secondary bile ducts and their branches within the liver, with high malignancy and poor prognosis. Radical surgical resection is currently the only possible way to cure ICC, but only some patients meet the surgical standards, and even with surgical resection, about 60% of patients will relapse within 1~2 years. Neoadjuvant therapy and adjuvant therapy are important perioperative treatment methods for ICC, with the aim of reducing postoperative recurrence and improving postoperative survival. This article aims to elaborate on the current status and research progress of neoadjuvant therapy and adjuvant therapy for ICC.
