Object To research on genetic relationship among the main populations of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. and the genuineness of the herb. Methods From main distributed places, 44 samples (including nine populations) were analyzed by RAPD. The data of amplified bands were analyzed by the software NTSYS-pc and AMOVA. Results (1) From more than 100 primers, 11 primers producing polymorphism and reproduceable bands were selected, 129 bands were amplified. (2) The percentage of polymorphic bands within different populations were 20.9%-55.0%. (3) The cluster map including all samples were obtained by UPGMA. In the map, there were six cluster groups and three individuals outside the groups. The branch with five samples of Zhongjiang Sichuan population were far from other samples in genetic distance. (4) According to the distribution provinces five groups were divided in genetic variance analysis. Genetic variance 80.44% existing within population, 8.29% among populations and 11.27% among groups. Conclusion (1) The genetic diversity within population of S. miltiorrhiza is plentiful. (2) The seeds of the cultivated population in Shandong and Henan Provinces come from the wild ones of same places. The cultivated plants lack artificial selection. The decrease of chemical compound is mainly due to the undesired condition of cultivating. (3) The genetic differentiation among the populations from different provinces is unbalance. Two population from Zhongjiang Sichuan and Chengde Hebei are far from the other population. (4) The genuineness of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae should be decided according to modern evaluation system. The herbs from some places of Shandong and Henan should be genuine ones.

Objective:To investigate the influential factors correlated to bone mineral density(BMD) in the lumbar vertebra of postmenopausal females, and to find out the influence of body mass and menostasis time on BMD. Methods: BMD in the frontal and lateral lumbar vertebrae of postmenopausal females were measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA).The correlations of BMD to age, body height, body mass, body mass index(BMI),menopausal age,and/or menopausal years were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS10.0. Results:The change of BMD in the frontal lumbar vertebra was positive to body mass but negatively with postmenopausal years, and that in the lateral lumbar vertebra was closely correlated to BMI. Conclusion: Bone mineral density decreases with increase of menostasis time.Females with a high body mass numerical value have higher bone mineral density.

Objective: To explore the potential influencing factors of the quality guidelines for medical treatment by factor analysis.Method: We analyzed with the SPSS package 9 quality guidelines for medical treatment in the department of integrated TCM and Western medicine of a hospital, including the out-patient person-time,the number of discharges, the average days of hospitalization, the rate of bed utilization, the frequency of bed rotation, the rate of cure and improvement, the case fatality rate, the coincidence rate of diagnoses at admission and discharge, and the success rate of emergency treatment. Results: Four common factors were extracted, namely, the quantifiable factor, determined by the out-patient person-time,the number of discharges, the average days of hospitalization and the frequency of bed rotation;the treatment factor, determined by the cure and improvement rate and case fatality rate;the diagnostic factor, determined mainly by the rate of bed utilization and the coincidence rate of diagnoses at admission and discharge;and the emergency treatment factor, determined by the success rate of emergency treatment. The cumulative contribution rate of the 4 factors was 85.1%.Conclusion: The amount of medical work, the techniques of treatment, the ability of diagnosis and the efficiency of emergency rescue are the main influencing factors of quality guidelines for medical treatment.

Objective To compare and analyze the causes that occurred in psychiatric and general department using SHEL models, in order to provide evidence of preventing nursing adverse events. Methods We analyzed causes of 136 nursing adverse events using SHEL models, and compared the classification, causes, incidence of nursing adverse events between psychiatric and general departments. Results The first three nursing adverse events in psychiatric department were medication error, going outside, suicide and self harm, and those in general department were medication errors, specimens being wrong, improper operation and pipeline off. 91.18% of nursing adverse events accounted for quality of nursing services, 43.38% accounted for nursing environment, 41.18% accounted for clinical environment, and 57.35% accounted for parties and others. Incidence of nursing adverse events in psychiatric department were higher than that in general department. Conclusions SHEL model can objectively and comprehensively analyze the causes of nursing adverse events, and make nursing managers take the appropriate management strategy and the best safeguard against the risk of development of response.

BACKGROUND:To date, it is stil unclear whether the intramuscular injection of heterogeneous umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cel s (UC-MSC) can cause cardiac ectopic pathological angiogenesis as wel as increase col agen synthesis to promote myocardial fibrosis. OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects of intramuscular injection of human UC-MSCs on myocardial micrangium and col agen expression in normal Wistar rats. METHODS:After 2 weeks of feeding, 60 male SPF Wistar rats were randomly assigned to receive intramuscular injection of PBS (normal group), DMEM (culture medium group), human UC-MSCs supernatant (supernatant group), 0.25×105, 1.0×105, 4.0×105 human UC-MSCs (low-, moderate-and high-dose groups), respectively (n=10 per group). Al the rats were subjected to second injection (same dose) at 4 weeks after first intramuscular injection. Then, the rats were kil ed under anesthesia at 4 weeks after second injection, to take heart tissues from the left ventricle for pathological observation, immunohistochemical examination and Masson staining. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:No alteration of the response, activity, victualage, faeces, weight growth, and fur was found, and there was no death in rats during the experiment. Al the rats had no symptoms of molt, inflammation, skin ulcer, scleroma. Strong positive expression of CD34 for the micrangium in the myocardial tissue was observed, and positive expression of the col agen in the myocardial tissue observed by Masson staining. There were no significant differences in the microvessel density and col agen expression in the myocardium among the groups (F=0.110 and 0.585, P>0.05). To conclude, hUC-MSCs or its supernatant via intramuscular injection has no effect on the micrangium and col agen expression in normal rats.

Objective To explore the effect of medical and nursing integration notification on the truth knowing rate, anxiety, depression and quality of life in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Meth-ods From February to March 2017,34 patients for the first time needing chemotherapy were included as control group, using normal disclosure. From June to July 2017,35 cases for the first time needing chemother-apy were included as the experimental group. The experimental group was informed of the medical and nurs-ing integration notification. The truth knowing rate, anxiety, depression and quality of life were compared be-fore and after three cycles of chemotherapy. Results After three cycles of chemotherapy, the truth knowing rate of patients in the experimental group (completely 57.14%,partly 34.29% and none 8.57%) was signifi-cantly different with the control group (completely 29.42%,partly 35.29% and none 35.29%,P<0.01). The scores of anxiety and depression in the experimental group(39.43±4.60,41.86±5.23) were significantly low-er than those before chemotherapy(42.37±4.76,45.69±5.49,P<0.01). The scores of anxiety and depression in the control group (45.74±5.20,49.74±5.42) were significantly higher than those before chemotherapy (42.77±5.62,45.56±6.27,P<0.01).After three cycles of chemotherapy, the scores of anxiety and depression in the experimental group were lower than the control group (P<0.01). After three cycles of chemotherapy, the total health status, body function, role function, emotional function, cognitive function, social function,fa-tigue,nausea and vomiting, and loss of appetite were statistically significant between the experimental group and control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The medical and nursing integration notification has a positive effect on the truth knowing rate, anxiety, depression and quality of life in cancer patients undergoing chemo-therapy.
