Objective To discuss the risk factors existing in clinical nursing of the chest surgery department and the corresponding nursing measures.Methods 395 patients were divided into the research group ( 199 cases) and the control group ( 196 cases),the control group received routine nursing,while the research group was given nursing risk management.The nursing effect was compared.Results After implementation of nursing risk management,the research group was better in the aspects of risk prevention consciousness,nursing risk events,complications,satisfcation degree of patients than the control group.Conclusions Risk management is the effective measures to decrease the nursing risk,and it is useful for elevating nursing quality and patients' satisfactory degree.

Objective To investigate the breastfeeding knowledge of neonatal unit medical staff. Methods A purposefully designed anonymous survey was piloted and then distributed to nurses and doctors working in the neonatal unit. Respondents were required to answer twelve single choice and eight multiple choice questions to assess their level of knowledge of breastfeeding. A total of 180 questionnaires were distributed and 135 were returned. Results The average total score of the questionnaire was (61.11 ± 10.85) points. Item ofhow to deal with the thawed milk with not finished after heatingwas highest right rate ,97.8%(132/135);item ofdrug used during breastfeedingwas lowest right rate, only 1.5%(2/135). Conclusions This project has demonstrated that the medical staff is lack of knowledge towards the practice of breastfeeding in neonatal unit and the education of breastfeeding is urgently needed to help the medical staff and guarantee the security of breastfeeding.

Objective To study the relationship between the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor? (PPAR?) mRNA and the severity of coronary lesions in coronary heart disease(CHD) patients. Methods 153 patients with CHD who had undergone coronary angiography were admitted, the expression of PPAR? mRNA in peripheral lymphocytes was assessed using RT-PCR. The severity of coronary artery lesions was analyzed, and the lesions of coronary artery were delineated. Objective To calculate the probability of nurses in a city experiencing adverse event and investigate nurses′cognitive and attitude of adverse event reporting ,and to improve the adverse event reporting system for care .Methods Three hundred and seventy five nurses were selected from 15 hospitals in our city and investigated by questionnaire survey .Results There were not statistically significant difference in the probability of nurses experiencing adverse event among all the different levels hospitals (P>0 .05) .There were statistically significant difference among three factors influencing the probability of nurses experiencing adverse event ,including professional title ,different age ,length of service(P<0 .05) .There were statistically significant difference of actively reporting the adverse event among nurses with different length of service (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Nurses′cognitive and attitude to‐wards adverse events report is positive .The length of service ,punishment environment and management expectation are the factors influencing the executive intention of adverse events .Investigating safety problems from the systematic perspective and improving adverse events reporting system could get more information and synthetically analyze the information to avoid nursing risk events e‐ventually .

The advent of human infections with avian influenza A(H7N9)and the emerging communicable disease has brought us profound thoughts on lemology teaching recently. We analyzed the exiting challenges of lemology teaching, including great changes in communicable diseases com-posing but limited class hours, decreasing of communicable diseases cases, medical students' psycho-logical apprehension, lack of teachers, more and more requirements in the prevention and treatment for communicable diseases from the public, etc. Several suggestions on how to further improve the lemology teaching quality were proposed including adjusting the curriculum arrangement, paing atten-tion to accumulate teaching cases, applying multi-media materials, taking full advantage of the teach-ing cases from specialized hospital, teaching students knowledge about themselves protection, improv-ing the quality of young teachers, emphasizing discipline characteristics and the importance of public health, reforming the teaching method and promoting the effect of teaching in communicable diseases.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for ADR evaluation in China.METHODS:The ADR signal evaluation method adopted by the pharmacovigilance center in Netherlands was analyzed by means of literature review,contrasting analysis and data reduction etc.RESULTS & CONCLUSION:We should draw experience from the pharmacovigilance center in Netherlands about the evaluation method on ADR signal and establish ADR evaluation databases of high quality;furthermore, we should attach great importance to the application of pharmacoepidemiology and statistics in ADR evaluation and gradually replace the qualitative evaluation with quantitative one for ADR signal.

Objective To explore the effects of Taiji exercise on the psychology and the functions of the autonomic nervous systems of middle aged and elderly people. Methods Two hundred and seven middle aged and elderly Taiji exercisers and 166 age matched non Taiji exercisers were sampled. The Zung Self rating Anxiety Scale(SAS), Zung Self rating Depression Scale (SDS) and autonomic nervous system equilibrium index (ANSEI)were adopted to assess the subjects. Results Compared with those of the control group, the scores of SAS and SDS in Taiji group were significantly higher, and the equilibrium of autonomic nervous systems in Taiji group was also superior. There was no significant difference between the male and the female with regard to SAS, SDS and the equilibrium of autonomic nervous systems within Taiji group. The longer the exercise, the better the equilibrium of autonomic nervous systems. Conclusion Taiji exercise has positive effects on the psychology and the autonomic nervous system of the middle aged and the elderly.

Objective:To provide the basis for postoperative nutritional support,exp lore the appropriate support methods and its influnce on rehabilitation in postoperative patients with laryngea l carcinoma.Methods:285 patients with laryngeal carcinoma were randomly divided into therapy group and control group.The therapy group (161 patients)was given homogenate diet and the control group(124 patients) was given mixed mi lk by nasal feeding 5-6 times per day.The nutritional index and occurr ence of pharyrgeal fistula were monitored at preoperation,7th and 14th days postopera tion r espectively.The duration of hospitalization of each patient was recorded at the same time. Results:The decreasing of the nutritional index w as significantly lower in the therapy group than in the control group(P<0.0 5).The duration of hospitalization was shortented to about 12 days, and the incidence of pharyngeal fistul a was reduced to 11%.Conclusion:The appropriate nutrition may decrease the incidence of pharyngeal fistula,shorten the mean duration in hospital and reduce the economic burden of postoperative patients with laryngeal carcinoma.

Objective We aimed to translate the English version of Perceived Control of Asthma Questionnaire (PCAQ) into Chinese and to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of PCAQ in asthma patients.Methods Totally 125 patients with asthma were recruited and were investigated by the Chinese version of PCAQ.The results underwent reliability and validity test.Results The Cronbach's α coefficient of the Chinese version of PCAQ ranged from 0.815 to 0.904,higher than 0.7.The split half coefficient was 0.647; the test-retest reliability was 0.818,which showed that internal consistency of Chinese version of PCAQ was good.The content validity index was 0.952.Factor analysis got 3 factors,which explained 46.079％ of the total variance; the factor loading of each item was ＞0.4.Conclusions The Chinese version of PCAQ has been proved to be rehable and valid.It can be used as a valid tool for the measurement of perceived control in asthma patients.
