Objective To discuss the effect of psychological intervention on children patients after the operation of pedo-oblique inguinal hernia. Methods 960 children patients were randomly divided into the experimental and the control groups with 480 cases in each group, the control group adopted routine nursing measures, the experimental group also received psychological intervention based upon base nursing. The postoperative pain, wound flare and the recurrence of the two groups were compared. Results 193 patients had postoperative pain, 2 patients had wound flare and 3 patients recurred in the experimental group. 310 patients had postoperative pain,36 patients had wound flare and 11 patients recurred in the control group. Conclusions Psychological intervention can decrease the postoperative complication of pedooblique inguinal hernia, psychological nursing must be paid attention to in nursing work.

ObjectiveTo discuss the application of medical elastic stockings in nursing of patients with deep venous thrombosis formation. Methods62 patients diagnosed as acute lower limbs deep ve-nous thrombosis from January, 2005 to January, 2008 were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control groups with 31 patients in each group, the control group took general nursing measures, the experimental group used the medical elastic stockings based on the general care measures, The inci-dence of post- thrombosis syndrome was observed in two groups and underwent χ2 test. ResultsAfter two years follow- up, 2 patients relapsed and 3 patients appeared post- thrombosis syndrome in the experimental group, 8 patients relapsed and 10 patients had post-thrombosis syndrome in the control group. The relapse rate and incidence rate of peat-thrombosis syndrome in the control group were higher than those of the experimental group. ConclusionsThe use of medical elastic stockings can prevent acute lower limbs deep venous throm-bosis, and can reduce the symptoms of post-thrombosis syndrome, which deserves to be spread widely.

Objective To investigate the CT features of ovarian cystadenofibroma(CFA)and to improve the diagnostic accuracy. Methods The clinical data and CT images of 7 patients with ovarian CFA were retrospectively analyzed.All cases underwent non-enhanced and contrast-enhanced CT scan.Results Ovarian lesions were unilateral in 5 cases,bilateral in 2 cases and totally 9 lesions were found.6 lesions were cystic,2 lesions were mainly solid and 1 lesion was mixed components.The maximum diameter of lesions ranged from 4.7-21.5 cm with an average of 8.2 cm.Lesions had smooth margins,and solid portions had different size vesicles. Cyst walls or septa showed various degree of thickening with calcification in 1 lesion and mural nodules in 5 lesions,and a small vesicle was visualized in only 1 of the mural nodules.Cystic portions appeared as fluid density without enhancement.Solid portions,thickened cyst walls and septa appeared as slight enhancement or no enhancement.No regional lymph node metastasis was found,no ascites or peritoneal implants as well.Conclusion Ovarian CFA has some characteristic of CT findings that may improve clinical diagnosis and differential diagnosis.

Objective:This study aimed to identify the morphology of mast cells by using a modified toluidine blue staining scheme,so as to provide a powerful reference for the experimental basis research of mast cells.Methods:Bone marrow-derived mast cells were induced in vitro.After 4 weeks,the cells were collected,fixed,and stained.Mast cells were fixed at different temperature during different time.The optimum condition was determined by comparing the effects of toluidine blue staining.Results:Bone marrow cells were induced to differentiate into mast cells by SCF and IL-3 in vitro.When mast cells were stained with modified toluidine blue staining,the staining effect was better.Mast cells were round or oval and the cell membrane was complete and the cytoplasm was filled with a large number of purple particles.Conclusion:In this study,we successfully applied a modified toluidine blue staining method to mast cells cultured in vitro.The results showed that the condition at 37 ℃ full fixation with staining could reduce the degeneration of mast cells.This method was easy to operate with good stability.It was suitable for the morphological observation of mast cells cultured in vitro.

Objective To explore the application of high-frequency color Doppler in the diagnosis of infant intussusception and the selection of reduction mode according tO the hemodynamic situations of intussusception intestine tube and blood vessel in mesentery.Methods A total of 377 cases of doubtful intussusception infants wete checked by high-frequency color Doppler.After they had been diagnosed,the hemodynamic situations of intussuscepiton intestine tube and blood vessel in mesentery were carefully observed and the ultra-sound had 3 types and then the hydrostatic enema reduction was chosen as treatment method.Results A total of 263 cases was diagnosed by highfrequency colot Doppler with rate of coincidence of 100%.Among them are 253 successful cases reduced by hydrostatic enema.The successful rate of reduction was 96.2%and the 10 failed cases were changed to be treated bv operation.The intestinal wall of intussusception tube in failure group had serious dropsy without blood flow shown.Conclusions It is accurate that the infant intussusception is diagnosed by high-frequency color Doppler.According to the hemodynamic situations of intussusceptin intestine tube and blood vessel in mesentery,the infant intussusception can be divided into 3 types as follows:type Ⅰ:the blood signal of intestinal tube and wall is up or normal,which shall be reduced by hydrostatic enema;type Ⅱ:the blood signal of intestinal tube and wall is small with high obstruction index,which shall be reduced by hydrostatic enema as possible as it can;type Ⅲ:the intestinal wall has serious dropsy with rather high obstruction index and without blood flow shown,in which the hydrostatic enema redHetion shall bebanned and the operation shall be carried out as soon as possible.

Objective To investigate the current status and the related influencing factors of humanistic care quality of nurses in department of aged homes in Guangzhou,for the future to carry out humanistic care education,and provide a reference for improving humanistic care quality of nurses.Methods 270 nurses from 8 department of aged homes in Guangzhou were investigated by convenience sampling and evaluation table on humanistic care quality of nurses.The affected factors were analyzed by multiple stepwise regression.Results The aggregate score of humanistic care quality of nurses in this study was (113.59±9.78),which was lower than the reference score (118.36±16.75) of humanistic care quality of nurses of some general hospitals in Shanghai in 2010,offered by Liu Yuxiao,the designer of the evaluation table.The scores were correlated with 4 impact factors including home,politics status,care index of colleagues,whether to accept the education and training of humanistic care;multiple stepwise regression analysis indicated that care index of colleagues and whether to accept the education and training of humanistic care were the main factors.Conclusions Humanistic care quality of nurses in department of aged homes in Guangzhou was in lower level,and especially caring ability and the attitude towards caring.Department of aged homes should cooperate with universities,to establish a set of training courses on humanistic care quality of nurses in department of aged homes.Through the systematic,standardized training,to improve humanistic care quality of nurses and the quality of nursing service.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of ultrasonography (USG) and contrast-enhanced computer tomography (CT) for thyroid carcinoma.MethodsThe results of the review of the preoperative CT and those of the original US reports were compared with the histopathologic results in 73 cases of thyroid carcinoma who underwent radical operation and central compartment dissection from November 2009 to November 2011.ResultsThe final diagnostic rate of thyroid carcinoma with USG was 69.9％,CT of that was 80.8％.There were no significant difference between them (P =0.077).The diagnostic rate of metastatic lymph node in the central compartment with USG was 61.6％,positive predictive value was 64.0％,negative predictive value was 60.4％.The diagnostic rate of metastatic lymph node in the central compartment with CT was 67.1％,positive predictive value was 61.7％,negative predictive value was 76.9％.There were not significant difference between them(P =0.848,P =0.152,P =0.489).Conclusion There was no significant difference between USG and CT in The final diagnostic rate of thyroid carcinoma and its lymph node metastasis in the central compartment.

Objective To estimate the clinical value of thinprep cytologic test (TCT) in screening cervical lesion. Methods 4234 TCT samples were interpreted according to the Besthesda System (TBS), 272positive cases (ASC-US or above) were taken colposcopic examination and biopsy. Results The coincidence of the results between TCT and biopsy in low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (LSIL), high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), adenocarcinoma (AC) were 85.71%(12/14), 100 % (20/20), 75 % (3/4) and 100 % (2/2), respectively. The positive rates of over ASC-H by TCT and of over CIN Ⅰ by biopsy were 23.16 % (63/272) and 24.26 % (66/272), respectively. There is no difference between two positive rates (x2 = 0.868, P = 0.581). Conclusion TCT and histopathological diagnosis had a high coincidence, a combination of both can greatly enhance HSIL and cervical cancer and reduce the incidence of missed diagnosis. TCT would be a rapid and convenient method for screening cervical cancer.

Objective To study the effect of dual stress on the behaviors and the expression of hippocampal let-7a and serotonin receptor 4(HTR4) in rats.Methods Newborn SD rats were randomly divided into dual stress group (DS,n=6) and control group (C,n=6).The DS rats were deprived of the mother care 6 hours per day from postnatal day 1 to 14 and then were exposed to chronic mild stress for 21 days from 10 weeks old,while the rats from C group received no experimental handle but husbandry care.Open field test,forced swimmiug test and sucrose consumption test were conducted to evaluate rats' depression-like behaviors at the age of thirteen weeks.The let-7a level in hippocampus was detected by real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction and the HTR4 protein level was measured by Western Blotting.Results In the open filed test,the rearing times of DS rats was shorter than that of C group((7.50±2.35) vs (19.00±5.73),P＜0.05).In the forced swimming test,the floating time of DS rats was longer than that of C group ((110.17 ± 1.72)s vs (70.33± 1.16)s,P＜ 0.05).In the sucrose c onsumption test,DS rats consumed less sucrose than rats from C group did((0.80±0.73) vs (0.52±0.26),P＜ 0.05).The protein level of hippocampal HTR-4 in DS group was lower than that of C group((1.44±0.38) vs (0.46±0.29),P＜0.01).The let-7a level in DS group was higher than that of C group((0.04±0.01) vs (1.58±0.27),P＜0.01).The Pearson correlation analysis revealed that the sucrose preference rate of rats were negatively and positively correlated with hippocampal let-7a and HTR4 level respectively(r=-0.653,P＜0.05; r=0.774,P＜0.01),and hippocampal let-7a level showed negative association with HTR4 protein level (r=-0.803,P＜0.01).Conclusion Dual stress can induce the depressive behaviors of rats and affect the expression of let-7a and HTR4 in hippocampus.Hippocampal HTR4 and let-7a might be involved in determining individual ability to experience pleasure in rats;and hippocampal let-7a may be involved in the regulation of HTR4 gene expression in rats.

Objective To explore the ultrasonographical characteristics of placental abruption, especially the light placental abruption that was diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasonic combining with enhancement Doppler E-flow imaging, providing diagnosis data for clinical treatment. Methods With color Doppler ultrasonic and enhancement Doppler E-flow imaging, an analysis was made on the ultrasonography and clinical result of 50 patients with heavy placental abruption and 23 patients with light placental abruption. Results The diagnosis and clinical treatment of 50 patients with heavy placental abruption who had been diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasonic combining with enhancement Doppler E-flow imaging were in conformity with the postnatal pathological diagnosis. The coincidence rate in diagnosis was 100%. Of 23 patients with light placental abruption who had been diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasonic combining with enhancement E-flow Doppler imaging, 19 cases' diagnosis and clinical treatment were in accordance with their postnatal pathological diagnosis and the coincidence rate was 83%, 4 cases were misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis. Of 73 patients with placental abruption, 60 cases were carried out caesarean birth and 13 cases performed natural labor. Conclusion The enhancement Doppler E-flow imaging combining with color Doppler ultrasonic can accurately diagnose the heavy placental abruption and also provide a new method for the diagnosis of light placental abruption and perform a dynamic monitoring for the treatment transfer result of it.
