Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of scleral buckling procedure on old retinal detachment. Methods The clinical data of 42 patients (46 eyes), including 24 males (27 eyes) and 18 females (19 eyes), with old retinal detachment treated by scleral buckling procedure in our department were retrospectively reviewed. The duration of the disease ranged from 1 month to 2 years. All the patients were with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment and combined with mainly predominantly-subretinal proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR) (stage C), including stage C1 of PVR in 16 eyes (34.8%), stage C2 in 19 eyes (41.3%), and stage C3 in 11 eyes (23.9%). Scleral buckling was performed on 13 eyes (283%) and cerclage combined buckling on 33 eyes (71.7%). Sterile air was injected into 36 eyes (78.3%) during the operation, and C3F8 was introvitreal injected into 7 eyes (15.2%) after the operation. Results The follow-up duration was from 6 months to 1 year (mean 7.3 months). Retina was completely reattached in 31 eyes (67.4%), and was alleviated obviously in 12 eyes (26.1%). The subretinal fluid increased after the operation with un-reattached retina and vitrectomy was performed in 2 eyes. One eye underwent vitrectomy due to the development of PVR. After the first operation, the curative ratio of retinal detachment was 67.4%, and effective ratio (cure and alleviation) was 93.5%. The visual acuity improved in 28 eyes (60.9%), kept no change in 11 eyes (23.9%), and decreased in 7 eyes (15.2%). Conclusion Reattachment of retina and improvement of visual acuity can be achieved in some degree in some patients with old retinal detachment who undergo simple scleral buckling procedure without vitrectomy.

Objective To analyze the consistency of the detection results of glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) by SMART POCT and Hitachi 7180 biochemical analyzers .Methods Firstly the accuracy of HbA1c detected by the SMART POCT and Hita‐chi 7180 biochemical analyzers were evaluated .And then 20 randomly selected samples were tested by both equipments .A relevance analysis between detected data from two equipments was conducted .Results There was a good correlation between the results of the HbA1c detected by two detecting systems ,with the correlation coefficient of r2 =0 .981 1 .Conclusion There is a good consis‐tency in detection results of glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) detected by SM ART POCT and Hitachi 7180 biochemical analyzer .

Objective To observe the clinical effects of pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) combined with internal limiting membrane peeling (ILMP) for macular hole (MH) and macular retinoschisis in high myopic eyes,and to analyze factors affecting the MH closure rate.Methods This is a retrospective case study.21 high myopic patients (22 eyes) with MH and macular retinoschisis were enrolled in this study.All eyes were examined for best corrected visual acuity (BCVA),intraocular pressure,slit lamp microscope,indirect ophthalmoscope,A and/or B-scan ultrasound,optical coherence tomography and visual electrophysiological examination.The BCVA was ranged from finger counting to 0.2.The axial length (AL) was ranged from 26.00 to 31.00 mm,with an average of 27.47 mm.Among 22 eyes,AL was between 26.00 mm to 27.00 mm in 9 eyes,27.10 mm to 28.00 mm in 5 eyes,28.10 mm to 29.00 mm in 3 eyes,29.10 mm to 30.00 mm in 3 eyes,and longer than 30.00 mm in 2 eyes.The diameter of MH was ranged from 227 μm to 597 μm and with an average of 432 μm.Among them,the minimum diameter was between 200 μm to 400 μm in 4 eyes,401 μm to 450 μm in 13 eyes,451 μm to 500 μm in 3 eyes,501 μm to 600 μm in 2 eyes.All the eyes were treated with PPV combined with ILMP surgery.The average follow-up time was 17 months after surgery.The efficacy was determined at the final follow up,including the MH closure,the state of macular retinoschisis and the BCVA.MH closure rate with different MH diameters and different AL were compared and analyzed.Results During the final followup,MH were fully closed in 17 eyes (77.3％),bridge-closed in 4 eyes (18.2％) and not closed in 1 eye (4.5％).Retinoschisis was resolved in 19 eyes (86.4％),partially resolved in 2 eyes (9.1％) and not changed in 1 eye (4.4％).MH with smaller diameter had higher MH closure rate (x2=12.036,P=0.032).MH with longer AL had lower MH closure rate (x2=16.095,P=0.003).The final BCVA was ranged from finger counting to 0.25.Among 22 eyes,BCVA or metamorphopsia were improved in 9 eyes (40.9％),stable in 8 eyes (36.4％).BCVA was reduced and metamorphopsia was more severe in 5 eyes (22.7％).Conclusions PPV combined with ILMP is a safe and effective surgical treatment for MH (with minimum diameter ≤600 μm) and macular retinoschisis in high myopic eyes.After surgery,MH was closed and retinoschisis was resolved in most patients.The major factors affect the MH closure were the minimum diameter of MH and AL.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of minimally invasive vitreous surgery (MIVS) for special rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) in children and adolescents. Methods: A retrospective clinical comparative study. Fourteen eyes with special type of RRD in 14 children and adolescents who received the MIVS treatment from January 2014 to January 2019 in Ophthalmology Department of The First Affiliated Hospital Ophthalmology of Air Force Military Medical University, were included in this study. Among them, 8 eyes from 8 males and 6 eyes from 6 females. The age of them ranged from 5 to 17, with the mean age of 12.64±4.11 years. The course of disease was ranged from 1 d to 1 year, and the average of it was 30 d. All the eyes developed the special type RRD, including pseudophakic and aphakic retinal detachment, giant retinal tear with retinal detachment, choroidal detachment associated with retinal detachment, and RRD with ocular dysplasia. In the 14 eyes, there was 2 eyes with retinal detachment in 1 quadrant, 4 eyes in 2 quadrants, 1 eye in 3 quadrants and 7 eyes in total 4 quadrants. All the eyes were treated with 23G or 25G MIVS and filled with irrigation solution, air and silicone oil. In addition, 10.4 months' follow-up for average after surgery were taken to observe the occurrence of retinal reattachment, BCVA and related complications in the eyes. Results: In the 14 eyes, 13 (92.9%) of them attained retinal reattachment and 1 eye (7.1%) got a poor retinal reattachment after one operation. At the last follow-up, all the 14 eyes (100.0%) attained retinal reattachment and 5 of them at the filling state of silicone oil. The vision of 8 eyes (57.1%) were improved, 4 eyes (28.6%) have no notable changes and 2 eyes decreased (14.3%). During the operation, iatrogenic retinal breaks were occurred in 1 eye, and silicone oil entered underneath the retina in 1 eye. After the operation, 1 eye suffered a relapse of retinal detachment after the removal of silicone oil and then were filled with it again. Conclusions MIVS is a safe and effective way to treat the special type RRD among the children and adolescents. The rate of retinal reattachment is 92.9% after one surgery and 100.0% at the last follow-up. Therefore, MIVS can help most of eyes with special type RRD to get a stable and improved vision.

Objective To analyze the refractive prediction error(PE)in combined vitrectomy,phacoemulsification,and intraocular lens(IOL)implantation for patients with macular disease and cataract.Methods This study encom-passed 96 patients(96 eyes)diagnosed with macular disease and cataract,who underwent combined vitrectomy,phacoe-mulsification and IOL implantation at the Department of Ophthalmology in Xijing Hospital,Air Force Military Medical Uni-versity from May 2014 to November 2022.The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)and actual spherical equivalent(SE)were studied,PE and absolute refractive error(ARE)were calculated,and the correlations between PE and axial length(AL),anterior chamber depth(ACD),lens thickness(LT),flat keratometry(Kf),steep keratometry(Ks),mean kera-tometry(Km),corneal astigmatism degree(cylinder,Cyl),intraocular pressure(IOP),BCVA,corneal astigmatism axis,the classification of macular diseases,and the type of intraoperative vitreous fillers were analyzed.Results In the early postoperative period(within 3 days after surgery),no statistically significant disparity in BCVA was observed compared to preoperative data among the 96 patients studied(P＞0.05).The ARE was determined to be(1.47±2.54)D,indicating a substantial deviation between the actual SE and preoperative predictive refraction of the 96 patients(P＜0.05).Among them,61 patients had a myopic shift,35 patients had a hyperopic shift,and the values of PE were(-1.81±3.07)D and(0.87±0.96)D,respectively.At the 1-month mark after surgery,there was no statistically significant difference in BCVA compared to the preoperative data of 12 follow-up patients(P＞0.05).Similarly,no statistically significant differences were found between every two of the three data,namely the actual SE one month after surgery,the preoperative predictive refraction,and the actual SE in the early postoperative period of the 12 follow-up patients(all P＞0.05).Also,no disparity was observed in BCVA at the last follow-up(P＞0.05)among the 6 patients who were followed up for over 1 year(long-term postoperative follow-up).The correlation analysis revealed that,in the early postoperative period,the PE of patients with myopic shift was negatively correlated with both preoperative AL and Cyl measurements(both P＜0.05).The early postoperative PE of patients with myopic shift was associated with the diagnostic classification of macular diseases(P＜0.05),and the degree of myopic shift was observed to be significantly greater in patients with pathological myopia macular holes compared to those with other macular diseases(P＜0.05).Additionally,the early postoperative PE of patients with myopic shift was uncorrelated with preoperative ACD,TL,Kf,Ks,Km,IOP,BCVA,the type of intraoperative vitreous fillers and the corneal astigmatism axis(all P＞0.05).In contrast,for patients exhibiting hyperopic shift,the PE observed in the early postoperative period exhibited a positive correlation with preoperative Cyl(P＜0.05).PE was also correlated with the type of intraoperative vitreous fillers(P＜0.05),and the degree of hyperopic shift was notably enhanced when the intraoperative vitreous cavity was filled with silicone oil(P＜0.05).The PE of patients with hyperopic shift observed in the early postoperative period exhibited no correlation with preoperative AL,ACD,TL,Kf,Ks,Km,IOP,BCVA,the diagnos-tic classification of macular diseases or the astigmatism axis(all P＞0.05).Conclusion Refractive prediction error may occur in patients with macular disease and cataract in the initial postoperative period after the vitrectomy combined with phacoemulsification and IOL implantation,predominantly caused by myopic shift.However,over time,there is a signifi-cant reduction in the magnitude of this refractive error.The direction and extent of diopter drift appear to be influenced by preoperative AL,Cyl,the specific diagnosis of macular disease,and the type of vitreous cavity filler utilized in the surgical procedure.

Objective To analyze the situation and study trend of large-scale nurses'health cohort studies based on Web of Science,to help design clinical guidelines and scientific research for nursing staff in China.Methods Articles of large nurses'health cohort studies published from 1993 to 2023 were retrieved from Web of Science(WOS)Core Collection.Citespace and Bibilometrix were used to perform the bibliometric analysis.Results 2882 studies were included in this study.Total volume of papers was enlarging by year.Clustering results showed that the main keywords could be divided into 3 categories:risks of women's health,risks of cardiovascular disease and reproducibility.Results of keywords burst showed that lifestyle,cardiovascular disease,women reproductive health and mental health were the highlights of studies in recent 5 years.Conclusion Research on large-scale nurse health cohorts holds significant scientific significance.It is recommended to establish a nationwide large-scale nurse health cohort as soon as possible.In the study,appropriate exposure factors should be selected,with reproductive health,mental health,and psychiatric disorders being the primary outcome measures,and chronic physical illnesses being the secondary outcome measures.By systematically describing the factors influencing the physical and mental health of nurses in China,we can better safeguard their well-being and promote the development of the nursing discipline.

OBJECTIVE： To observe the effects of dihydroquercetin （DHQ） on hemorheology and other relevant related indexes in local cerebral ischemic injury model rats. METHODS： SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group， model group， nimodipine group （positive control， 20 mg/kg） and DHQ low-dose， medium-dose and high-dose groups （15， 30， 60 mg/kg）， with 10 rats in each group. Administration groups were given relevant medicine intragastrically， sham operation group and model group were given constant volume of 0.4％ Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose solution， once a day， for consecutive 14 d. After last administration， local cerebral ischemic injury model was induced by bilateral common carotid artery ligation in other groups except for sham operation group. After 24 h of cerebral ischemia， histopathological changes of brain tissue in rats of each group were observed； the levels of hemorheology indexes [whole blood viscosity （low， medium and high shear）， whole blood reduced viscosity （low， medium and high shear）， plasma viscosity]， erythrocyte parameters （hematocrit， EAI， DI， IR）， coagulation function indexes （APTT， PT， TT， FIB） were detected. RESULTS： Compared with sham operation group， the cells in the brain tissue of model group were loose， the gap was obvious， and the neurons around the ischemic area were damaged obviously； the levels of whole blood viscosity， whole blood reduced viscosity， plasma viscosity， hematocrit， EAI， IR and FIB were increased significantly， while the levels of DI， APTT， PT and TT were decreased or shortened significantly （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）. Compared with model group， above symptoms of administration groups were improved to different extents， whole blood viscosity， plasma viscosity， EAI and IR of nimodipine group， whole blood viscosity and hematocrit of DHQ high-dose group， plasma viscosity and EAI of DHQ groups， and IR of DHQ medium-dose and high-dose groups were decreased significantly； DI， APTT， PT and TT of nimodipine group， DI， APTT and TT of DHQ groups and PT of DHQ high-dose group were increased or prolonged significantly （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）. There was no statistical significance in other indexes among those groups （P＞0.05）. CONCLUSIONS： DHQ can protect against local cerebral ischemic injury model rats， the mechanism of which may be associated with improving hemorheology indexes and coagulation function disorder.

OBJECTIVES: Health workers are at risk of workplace violence, which can seriously affects their mental health and work status. This study aims to explore the mediating role of depression between workplace violence and job burnout among healthcare workers. METHODS: From January 10 to February 5, 2019, a questionnaire was distributed to frontline healthcare workers through the wenjuanxing platform using convenient sampling (snowball sampling). The questionnaire included the Chinese version of the Workplace Violence Scale, Maslach Burnout Inventory, and Patient Health Questionnaires (PHQ-2). Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and mediation model tests were conducted on the cross-sectional data collection. RESULTS: The study included 3 684 participants, with (31.63±7.69) years old. Among them 2 079(56.43%) were experienced workplace violence, 687(18.65%) were screened positive for depression, and 2 247(60.99%) were experienced high levels of occupational burnout. Correlation analysis showed positive association between workplace violence and depression, workplace violence and occupational burnout, depression and occupational burnout (r=0.135, r=0.107, r=0.335, respectively, all P<0.001). After controlling for covariates, workplace violence had an indirect effect on occupational burnout through depression, with a standardized coefficient of 0.25 (SE=0.02, 95% CI 0.21 to 0.28), accounting for 13.87% of the total effect. CONCLUSIONS The study highlights the close relationship between workplace violence, depression, and occupational burnout among healthcare workers, with depression acting as a mediator between workplace violence and occupational burnout. This study suggests that it is necessary to improve the communication skills of healthcare workers, increase the installation of security systems and emergency plans, use new media platforms to convey positive energy between doctors and patients, and open channels for medical consultation and complaints. It is also necessary to provide guidance for healthcare workers' depressive emotions. Addressing depression among health care workers will help reduce the harm caused by workplace violence, protect the physical and mental health of healthcare workers, and reduce work burnout.

There is still a lack of sufficient evidence-based basis for the treatment of simple gaming disorder. The purpose of this paper is to review the research progress of gaming disorder intervention， in order to provide references for the treatment of patients with gaming disorder. With the development and popularization of the Internet， the adverse events caused by the pathological use of online games have attracted wide attention. At present， gaming disorder has been listed in the International Classification of Diseases， eleventh edition （ICD-11） by WHO. This paper reviewed the latest interventions measures about gaming disorder at home and abroad in the past decade， including psychological， pharmacological and physical intervention methods， and analyzed and summarized these intervention measures， so as to provide references for patients with gaming disorder to formulate a reasonable intervention plan.

Improving the reproducibility of biomedical research results is a major challenge.Transparent and accurate reporting of the research process enables readers to evaluate the reliability of the research results and further explore the experiment by repeating it or building upon its findings. The ARRIVE 2.0 guidelines, released in 2019 by the UK National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research (NC3Rs), provide a checklist applicable to any in vivo animal research report. These guidelines aim to improve the standardization of experimental design, implementation, and reporting, as well as the reliability, repeatability, and clinical translatability of animal experimental results. The use of ARRIVE 2.0 guidelines not only enriches the details of animal experimental research reports, ensuring that information on animal experimental results is fully evaluated and utilized, but also enables readers to understand the content expressed by the author accurately and clearly, promoting the transparency and integrity of the fundamental research review process. At present, the ARRIVE 2.0 guidelines have been widely adopted by international biomedical journals. This article is a Chinese translation based on the best practices of international journals following the ARRIVE 2.0 guidelines in international journals, specifically for the complete interpretation of the ARRIVE 2.0 guidelines published in the PLoS Biology journal in 2020 (original text can be found at https://arriveguidelines.org). The fourth part of the article includes the items 1-5 of ARRIVE 2.0 Recommended 11 section, which covers "Abstract" "Background" "Objectives" "Ethical statement" and "Housing and husbandry". Its aim is to promote the full understanding and use of the ARRIVE 2.0 guidelines by domestic researchers, enhance the standardization of experimental animal research and reporting, and promote the high-quality development of experimental animal technology and comparative medicine research in China.
