1.Standardization of Adaptive Behavior Assessment System-II (6-18 Years Old) Chinese Version

Objective To standardize Adaptive Behavior Assessment System (ABAS)-II Chinese version to establish norm of ABAS-II Chinese version (6-18 years old). Methods International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) and psychological mea-surement were taken. Results Chinese version of ABAS-II (6-18 years old) was developed. The norms of general scores, main domains scores and adaptive skill scores had been established. Conclusion Chinese version of ABAS-II (6-18 years old) can be applied for the evalu-ation of adaptive behavior for Chinese children aged 6-18 years. The standardized Chinese version of ABAS-II (6-18 years old) meets the re-quirement of reliability and validity of the US version.
2.Therapeutic effect of sequential mechanical ventilation based on pulmonary infection control window on severe pneumonia complicated by respiratory failure in children

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of sequential mechanical ventilation based on pulmonary infection control window in the treatment of severe pneumonia complicated by respiratory failure in children.Methods:A total of 300 children with pneumonia complicated with respiratory failure who received mechanical ventilation in Jiande Second People's Hospital from January 2016 to December 2017 were included in this study. They were assigned to receive either conventional continuous invasive mechanical ventilation (control group, n = 150) or invasive- noninvasive sequential mechanical ventilation based on pulmonary infection control window (observation group, n = 150) according to the order of admission. Invasive ventilation time, intensive care unit stay, expiratory time, inspiratory time and time to peak tidal expiratory flow, blood gas analysis indexes, incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia, pulmonary hemorrhage and pneumothorax were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, PaO 2 value [(97.31 ± 6.39) mmHg vs. (86.24 ± 10.92) mmHg], PaO 2/FiO 2 [(280.78 ± 40.12) mmHg vs. (210.75 ± 40.11) mmHg], pH value [(7.44 ± 0.01) vs. (7.27 ± 0.04)], expiratory time [(1.18 ± 0.12) s vs. (0.89 ± 0.11) s], inspiratory time [(0.79 ± 0.09) s vs. (0.39 ± 0.09) s], time to peak tidal expiratory flow [(0.41 ± 0.02) s vs. (0.21 ± 0.03) s] and the rate of successful weaning (96.67% vs. 78.67%) in the observation were significantly higher than those in the control group ( t = 13.287, 130.381, 9.231, 6.353, 9.793, 10.131, χ2 = 22.475, all P < 0.001). After treatment, PaCO 2 value [(39.76 ± 5.49) mmHg vs. (46.72 ± 7.51) mmHg], invasive ventilation time [(8.11 ± 3.21) d vs. (17.24 ± 4.52) d], intensive care unit stay [(15.03 ± 2.94) d vs. (21.94 ± 4.29) d], the proportion of children having ventilator-associated pneumonia (1.33% vs. 6.67%), the proportion of children having pulmonary hemorrhage (0.00% vs. 2.67%) and the proportion of children having pneumothorax (2.67% vs. 8.00%) in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group ( t = 14.798, 10.136, 9.962, χ2 = 5.556, 4.054, 4.225, all P < 0.05). Conclusion:Sequential mechanical ventilation based on pulmonary infection control window for the treatment of severe pneumonia complicated by respiratory failure in children can achieve good curative effects through greatly improving blood gas index and is highly safe.
3.The epidemiological characteristics of Salmonella in children with infectious diarrhea in Zhuhai City from 2009 to 2014

Objective To investigate epidemiological characteristics of Salmonella infection in children with infectious diarrhea in Zhuhai City from 2009 to 2014 .Methods Isolation ,culturing ,biochemical identification and serotyping of Salmonella were carried out in strains isolated from stool specimens of 4 395 children with infectious diarrhea in inpatient and outpatient settings in Zhuhai Municipal Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital from 2009 to 2014 ,and data were statistically analysed .Results A total of 546 strains of Salmonella was isolated(the overall isolation rate was 12 .42% ) and 30 serotypes were identified .Among children with Salmonella infection ,those under 3 years old accounted for 93 .22% .There was no statistically significant difference of isolation rate between male and female children with infectious diarrhea(P<0 .05) .June and July were peak period of Salmonella infection ,and the isolation rate was 16 .40% and 16 .09% respectively .Isolates of Salmonella typhimurium ,Salmonella enteritidis and Salmonella stanley account for 50 .92% ,13 .55% and 10 .26% respectively ,which were dominant serotypes .Conclusion Salmonella is the main pathogenic bacteria in children with infectious diarrhea in Zhuhai area ,and Salmonella typhimurium is the main serotype .The infec‐tion of Salmonella might be correlated with children′s age and climate change .

Objective:To investigate the vexation and relevant attribution in middle and high school students Methods:A total of 539 middle or high school students were sampled from Shanxi Province, they were investigated with a self-made inventory and some of them received interview Result:Most of the students had worries in life, mainly about self-image, control of their parents, pressure of studies, individuality and interpersonal relationships The worst things they worried were relationships between partners,their inefficiency in studies,being quipped by teachers The degree of worrying about appearance and individuality were markedly different between students in middle schools and in high schools Conclusion:It suggests that family, school and society should give enough concern for middle and high school students
5.More reliable erythrocyte parameter MCH than MCV for screening thalassaemia trait

Objective To compare the reliability of erythrocyte parameter mean corpuscular volume(MCV)and mean corpuscu-lar hemoglobin(MCH)for screening thalassaemia trait.Methods A fresh venous blood sample with the cut-off value of MCV was sent to 21 hospitals of Zhuhai city for conduct the full blood cell analysis within 1 d.Then the inter-and intra-coefficient of varia-tion (CV)as well as bias values of MCV and MCH were calculated and compared.In addition,10 EDTA-anticoagulant venous blood samples were divided into two parts,the effects of stored temperature and time on MCV and MCH were observed.Results The coefficient of variation(CV)of MCV (4.1%)was significantly greater than that of MCH (2.8%)among 21 laboratories,the qualification rate of MCH detection results was 100%,which was significantly higher than 66.7% of MCV (P <0.05).When the whole blood samples were stored under 2 kinds of the temperature condition(room temperature and refrigeration)for 72 h,MCH changed little (P >0.05).When these samples were stored under the refrigerated condition for 72 h,MCV had no statistically sig-nificant difference compared with the instant detection results of MCV (P >0.05),when stored at the room temperature for 48 h, MCV was significantly increased (P <0.05),MCV had statistical difference in storage for 48 h between the room temperature and the refrigeration.Conclusion Among laboratories and under different temperature conditions,the reproducibility of MCH is better than that of MCV and is more stable than MCV.MCH as the clinical first-line screening for thalassaemia is more reliable than MCV.
6.6 Subtests Short Form of Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children Fourth Edition-Chinese in Assessment of Intellectual Disabilities

Objective To constitute the short form of Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC). Methods After selecting 6 subtests by regression, this study was based on the development of the Chinese Version of the 6 Subtests Short Form of WISC-Ⅳ based on the data derived from the norm sample via the norm method and equation procedure. Results and Conclusion The best structure of the 6 subtests short form of WISC-Ⅳ consists of 6 subtests: similarities, comprehension, block design, matrix reasoning, digit span and coding, in which the reliability and validity were excellent. The results of division for children of intellectual disabilities is close to that of the full Chinese Version of WISC-Ⅳ.
7.Research on Measurement and Statistics, and Social Support and Services for Intellectual Disability

Objective To explore ICF-based measurement and statistical methods, and social support and service systems of intellectual disability. Methods ICF theories and approaches and literature review were applied. Results Based on the theories of function and disability in ICF, intellectual disability was characterized by the impairment of intellectual function and significant limitations in adaptive behavior, and onset before 18 years old. Based on the theories of intellectual disability in ICF, this study rebuilt the framework of intellectual disabili-ty, and modified the measure of intellectual disability by assessing the body function and measuring activities and participation to assess in-tellectual function and adaptive behavior, while analyzing the social support and service systems via environment factors. This study also dis-cussed related problems about the prevalence of intellectual disability. Conclusion New conceptual framework, measurement and statistical method of intellectual disability based on the theories and methods of ICF was discussed and the social support and service systems were in-tegrated into the environmental factor of intellectual disability.
8.Simple effect analysis on the influence of the hope level and family function on the quality of life of the schizophrenia convalescence patient

Objective To explore the influence of the hope level and family function on the quality of life of the schizophrenia convalescence patients.Methods One hundred and twenty schizophrenia convalescence patients were investigated with Herth Hope Scale,Family APGAR Index (APGAR) and the Schizophrenia Quality of Life Scale (SQLS) to analyze the influence of the level of hope and family function on their quality of life.Results The mean score of the hope level and family function of the schizophrenia convalescence patients was (30.1 ±7.0) points and (4.5± 1.5) points respectively,they both played a significant role on the effect of the quality of life.Through the simple effect analysis,the quality of life was different in the various hope level under the various family function situation,and the quality of life was also different in the various family function situation under the medium hope level.Conclusions Both hope level and family function have effect on the quality of life of patients.The medical staff should take targeted measures to improve their quality of life effectively.
9.Framework, Measurement, and Social Support of Intellectual Disability Based on ICF

Objective To explore the definition, structure, terminology, framework, and models of social support and services, and mea-surement of intellectual disability based ICF approach. Methods The ICF approach and definition and approach proposed by American Asso-ciation on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD) were adopted. Results The characteristics of intellectual disability are sig-nificant limitations in both intellectual functioning and adaptive behavior as expressed in conceptual, social, and practical adaptive skills, and onset before 18 years old. The framework, domains and contents of services and support for intelligence disability were proposed, as well as the updated measurement of intelligence disability based on new framework and definition. Conclusion The new framework of intel-ligence disability, system of service and support, and measurement are in accordance with the bio-psycho-social model of disability of ICF. The new paradigm will provide framework and tool of measurement, rehabilitation, education, and social services for people with intelli-gence disability.
10.Investigation and analysis of psychological health status in the primary caregivers of schizophrenia patients in agricultural and pastoral areas of Inner Mongolia

Objective To understand the psychological health status and related factors in the primary caregivers of schizophrenia patients in Inner Mongolia,in order to provide empirical basis for nursing care.Methods A sample of 264 chronic schizophrenia patients and their primary caregivers,and 260 local normal individuals were selected according to random cluster sampling.The Symptom Check List-90 (SCL-90) and Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS)were used to evaluate the psychological health status.Symptom severity was assessed with the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS).Results The total SCL-90 score of caregivers of patients was higher than that of local normal individuals,especially the scores of somatization,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety,hostility,and paranoid ideation were higher than those of local normal individuals.Multiple regression analysis showed that caregivers' sex,caregivers' age,duration of illness,positive symptomatology,negative symptomatology and social support were significant predictors of caregivers' psychological health status.Conclusions The primary caregivers of patients with schizophrenia have worse mental health.Health care professionals should pay close attention to psychological health status in the primary caregivers and provide continuous individualized services,and thereby to improve the primary caregiver' psychological health status.
