Objective: To observe the effect of acupuncture, tuina plus rehabilitative therapy on lower limb motor dysfunction in infants with spastic cerebral palsy.
Methods:A total of 60 infants with spastic cerebral palsy were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group by random digital table, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with acupuncture, tuina therapy plus rehabilitative therapy of Western medicine. The control group was simply treated with rehabilitative therapy of Western medicine, as same as that for the treatment group. The assessment was respectively given to the sick infants before the treatment and after the treatment of six months, to evaluate lying and rolling scores in dimension A, to evaluate sitting score in dimension B, to evaluate crawling and kneeling scores in dimension C, and evaluate standing score in dimension D in the gross motor functions and determine the muscle tone of the gastrocnemius muscle by modified Ashworth scale (MAS).
Results:The differences were not statistically significant in comparison of the gross motor functions and the muscle tone of the gastrocnemius muscle between the two groups of sick infants before the treatment (P>0.05); after the treatment of six months, the above items were obviously improved in the two groups (P<0.01), better in the treatment group than in the control group, with the statistical significance in the differences between the groups (P<0.01).
Conclusion:Acupuncture, tuina plus rehabilitative therapy of Western medicine are remarkable in the therapeutic effects in the treatment of motor disorders of the lower limbs in the sick infants with spastic cerebral palsy. This therapeutic method is safe, simple and convenient and needs to be clinically popularized and applied.

Prostatic stromal fibroblasts were obtained from human fetal prostate and the effect of androgen (DHT) , estrogen (E2) , and human prostatic growth factor (hPGF) on the proliferation of the cultured fibroblasts was studied. The results showed that: 1) DHT and hPGF had significant stimulatory effect on proliferation of the cells; DHT had a delayed stimulatory effect, while hPGF had an immediate one. 2) E2 had no effect on proliferation of the cultured fibroblasts. 3) Used jointly, E2 and DHT had no stimulating effect on the proliferation of the fibroblasts. The results suggest that the effect of DHT on the proliferation of human prostatic stromal fibroblasts may be indirect. It possibly regulates the growth of prostate by stimulating autocrine or paracrine function of the prostatic cells.

OBJECTIVE:To establish characteristic chromatogram of Cornus officinalis and its different wine-processedproducts,investigate the differences of chromaticity values, and analyze them with chemical pattern recognition technology.METHODS:UPLC method was adopted. Using loganin as reference,UPLC characteristic chromatograms were drawn for 10batches of C. officinalis and 20 batches of different wine-processed products (stewing with wine, steaming with wine). TCMFingerprint Similarity Evaluation System(2012A edition)was used for similarity evaluation, and common peaks were confirmed. The chromaticity values [lightness(L),red and green tone value(a),yellow and blue tone value(b),color difference value(ΔE)]were determined by spectrophotometer. SPSS 20.0 and SIMCA 14.0 software were used for cluster analysis, principal componentanalysis and partial least squares-discriminant analysis;taking the area of characteristic peak and chromaticity value as indexes, andthe variable importance projection greater than 1 as the standard, the difference markers affecting its quality were screened.RESULTS:There were 6 common peaks in the chromatograms for decoction piece of C. officinalis,7 common peaks forwine-processed C. officinalis(stewing with wine)and wine-processed C. officinalis(steaming with wine). Four components wereidentified as gallic acid,5-hydroxymethylfurfural,morroniside,loganin. 5-hydroxymethylfurfural was produced after processing. The similarity between C. officinalis and different wine-processed products (stewing and steaming with wine) was low(0.869-0.937,0.845-0.944),but the similarity between different wine-processed products was higher than 0.99. ΔL,Δa,Δb and ΔEof C. officinalis decoction pieces and wine-processed C. officinalis decoction pieces(stewing in wine)were -9.42--3.58,-24.92- -15.00,-11.33- -7.00 and 17.01-28.12,respectively. ΔL,Δa,Δb and ΔE of C. officinalis decoction pieces and wine-processed C. officinalis(steaming in wine)decoction pieces were -8.58--2.42,-25.08--13.83,-10.92--6.08,15.58-28.67. ΔL,Δa,Δb and ΔE of wine-processed C. officinalis decoction pieces(stewing and steaming with wine)were -2.17-3.00,-0.75-2.50, 0.25-1.42 and 1.25-3.83,respectively. Results of cluster analysis showed that 30 batches of sample were clustered into two categories,S1-S10 were clustered into one category, and S11-S30 were clustered into other category. Principal component analysis showed that cumulative contribution rate of former two main components was 83.147%. Results of partial least squares-discriminant analysis showed that morroniside,No.5 peak and chromaticity values(L,a,b)were the difference markers affecting its quality. CONCLUSIONS:Established UPLC characteristic chromatogram is stable and feasible, and can be used to rapidly identify C. officinalis and its different wine-processed products. Established chemical mode can be used to identify different wine-processed products.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between iodine nutrition level and thyroid disease. Methods:Totally 299 patients with thyroid disease who were treated at Shandong Provincial Institute for Endemic Disease Prevention and Control from 2016 to 2018 were selected as case group which was further divided into Graves' disease group (GD group, 137 patients), chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis group (HT group, 90 patients) and thyroid nodule group (72 patients). At the same time, 75 healthy people with no history of thyroid disease, normal thyroid color ultrasound and thyroid function were selected as control group. Morning urine was collected and urinary iodine was detected by arsenic cerium catalytic spectrophotometry. Fasting venous blood was extracted, and serum levels of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), free triiodothyronine (FT 3), free thyroxine (FT 4), thyroid globulin antibody (TgAb) and thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb) were detected by electrochemiluminescence method. Results:The difference of median urinary iodine in the 4 groups was statistically significant ( H = 42.530, P < 0.05). The medians urinary iodine in GD and HT groups (326.79, 341.91 μg/L) were higher than those of thyroid nodule group and control group (235.01, 187.32 μg/L, P < 0.05). The levels of TSH, FT 3 and FT 4 in GD group were compared with those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P < 0.05). The positive rates of TgAb and TPOAb in HT group were significantly higher than those in GD, thyroid nodule and control groups, and the positive rates of TgAb and TPOAb in GD group were higher than those in thyroid nodule and control groups ( P < 0.05). Conclusions:GD and HT patients have excessive iodine nutrition, and high iodine intake may lead to the occurrence of these thyroid diseases (GD and HT). Thyroid function test combined with laboratory urinary iodine test can be used to diagnose thyroid diseases simply and quickly.
