In recent years,due to the impact of marked-oriented economy,the scale of the magazine and the demand of the readers of some Medical Abstracts Journals was tending to decrease year by year,as well as the publication was facing difficulties.This article discussed on how to revitalize the Medical Journal Abstracts.It proposed that the Abstracts Journals should pinpoint the orientation,embody the characters,and take the development of individualization.

Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy and explore the clinical application value of the enhancement controlla-ble output channel narrowed ileal bladder suspension surgery and traditional ileal neobladder after total cystectomy.Methods From January 2001 to August 2009,42 patients with bladder cancer received enhancement controllable output channel narrowed ileal blad-der suspension surgery after total cystectomy;and 46 patients received ileal neobladder after total cystectomy.Their clinical data, perioperative situation,postoperative complications and tumor progress were analyzed.Results In regard to the blood loss,postop-erative hospital stay,and postoperative recent or far complications,both surgical methods had no significant statistical difference (P >0.05).The group of Enhanced controllable output channel narrowing ileal bladder suspension surgery was good control of uri-nation after operation(P <0.05).Conclusion Enhancement controllable output channel narrowed ileal bladder suspension surgery has good clinical effect and safety.It is especially suitable for the patients who need control inurine and don′t accepted orthotopic neobladder.

Heptocelluar carcinoma is a common tumor,and transcatheter arterial chemoembolization has become the first choice for treatment. However,combined with TCM ,Clinical effect was more signifi cant. This article generalized research results about the basic syndrome type in recent years,including liver depression and spleen defi ciency,qi stagnation and blood stasis,spleen deficiency with dampness retention,dampness-heat of liver and gallbladder,and liver-kidney yin deficiency. In addition,the article summed up the dialectical therapy of Heptocelluar carcinoma. Soothing liver and invigorating spleen is mainly used,combined with resolving dampness,activating blood and removing toxin,tonifying liver and kidney. In order to broaden the treatment of the disease.

[Summary] Type 2 diabetic rat model accompanied by insulin resistance was established by high fat/high glucose diet and streptozotocin.Following metformin treatment for 4 weeks,realtime PCR and Western blot were used to detect the expressions of SIRT3 mRNA and protein in skeletal muscle tissue,respectively.The results showed that insulin sensitivity,superoxide dismutase (SOD),and glutathione (GSH) levels were significantly reduced in diabetic group compared with the control group (P＜0.05),while methane dicarboxylic aldehyde (MDA) level was increased (P＜0.05),along with the decreased expressions of SIRT3 mRNA and protein in skeletal muscles (P＜0.01).After metformin treatment,the insulin sensitivity,SOD,GSH,and SIRT3 mRNA and protein levels were significantly increased (P＜ 0.05 or P＜ 0.01),while MDA level was decreased (P ＜ 0.05),suggesting that metformin may ameliorate insulin resistance via upregulating SIRT3 expression in skeletal muscles of diabetic rats.

AIM: To study the effects of dietary factor on liver gene expression profile in apoE~(-/-)/LDLR~(-/-)/Lepr~(db/db) mice and atherogenesis. METHODS: The gene expression profile was determined by using cDNA microarray. Total plasma TC and TG level were measured with COD-PAP and GPO-PAP methods respectively. The morphological characters of the aorta were also observed. RESULTS: Among the 4000 target genes, 78 and 114 genes were up-and down-regulated, respectively, in treble genes mutants fed with high fat high cholesterol diet compared with that of regular chow littermates, including lipid metabolism, carbohydrate, cell skeleton and immune related genes. Atherogenic diet induced severe plasma hyperlipidemia even in the early stage and also accelerated atherogenesis in the treble genes mutant mice. CONCLUSION: The data suggest that atherogenic diet aggravates abnormal plasma lipid metabolism and induces severe hyperlipidemia, and atherogenesis in the treble genes mutant mice as well.

Objective To investigate the sleep architecture in dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB),and study the sleep architecture and cognitive functions in DLB.Methods We described polysomnography (PSG) findings in 34 consecutive subjects diagnosed with DLB.All the patients underwent Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE),Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA),Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) to quantify cognitive functions.Results (1)Sleep architecture analysis:DLB group compared to normal control group,the sleep period time (SPT) was reduced (P ＜ 0.05),total sleep time (TST) and sleep efficiency (SE) were decreased,total wake time (TWT) and wake after sleep onset (WASO) were increased,1 non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep (TS1),2NREM sleep (TS2),total NREM sleep (TNREMS),and REM sleep (TREMS) time were significantly decreased (P ＜0.01).(2)The DLB patients were divided into groups based on MMSE,MoCA,qnd CDR scores,the sleep architecture of each group was no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions Patients with DLB exists sleep architecture disorder.The cognitive functions and sleep architecture changes in patients with DLB have no obvious correlation.It is different from other degenerative dementia.

Objective To investigate the prenatal or intrapartum risk factors,resuscitation and its outcomes among full term but dying newborns after severe asphyxia (Apgar score was 0～1 at 1 min after birth).Methods Totally,39 dying full-term newborns,who were admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit of Shenzhen Maternity&Child Healthcare Hospital,Southern Medical University from January,2003 to June,2014 were analyzed retrospectively.Information on perinatal influencing factors and outcomes of resuscitation were collected and analyzed with Chi-square test.Results All of the babies were divided into died (n=7,18％,one refused to further treatment) and survived group [n=32,among which 15 suffered from hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) (seven mild,seven moderate and one severe case)].Fetal heart beat was undetectable in more babies in the died group than in the survived group [2/7 vs 0％(0/32),x2=4.695,P=0.028].There were 19 infants with Apgar score ≤ 5 at 5 min,and seven of them died (7/19).The other 12 survived with HIE occurred in eight cases (four mild,three moderate and one severe case) and the rest four babies did not report any neurological complications.Among the ten infants with Apgar score ≤ 5 at 10 min,seven died or refused to treatment and the other three survived with moderate HIE.Conclusions Most of the dying term babies may have promising outcomes after effective resuscitation,especially for those with Apgar score over 5 at 5 min.However,for those dying term babies with Apgar score remains ≤ 5 at 5 min,management after resuscitation should be strengthened to reduce the occurrence of any sequelae or complications.

Throughin-depth study and thinking ofthe current situation of medical education,this paper exploredtraining strategies of applied talents in medical colleges under the new situation.From the training ofapplication talents in medical colleges under new situation,we should focus on the current reality,learn experience.Combined with the characteristics of medical specialty,we should explore the model of strengthening the humanistic quality moral training of current medical application talents from the curriculum,teaching content selection,teachers' construction,environment shaping,teaching methods,assessment and evaluation,and thus to adapt to the medical mode conversion,alleviate the doctor-patient contradiction and promote medical students employments.

This study successfully established in v itro model of Alzheimerˊs disease ( AD ) in order to investigate effects and mechanisms on AD by Bushen-Huatan-Yizhi Recipe (BSHTYZR, replenishing kidney-essence and removing phlegm to benefit wisdom ) . The PC-12 cells affected by Aβ1-42 incubated were produced for neuron cell model of AD . Then , they were intervened by the serum containing BSHTYZR , which were compared to the serum containing indomethacin . The cell morphology was observed . The neuronal survival was assessed by counting MTT assay . The expression of APP mRNA was detected with RT-PCR . And the protective effect of BSHTYZR on neuronal cells and neurotoxic effects of anti-Aβ was observed . The results showed that 2 . 5 mmol/L Aβ1-42 can significantly decrease the cell viability . The RT-PCR was used on semi-quantitative analysis for expression of APPmRNA. It showed that expression of APP mRNA was increased in each group, and the BSHTYZR group can reduce the expression significantly ( P < 0 . 01 ) . It was concluded that the BSHTYZR method can protect nerve cells , suppress the expression of APP mRNA , and reduce the toxic effects .
