Objective: To investigate the cause of complications after naloxone (Nal) for administration analepsia of general anesthesia. Method: Thirty-six cases were randomly divided into group Ⅰ (n=12, Nal 0.004mg?kg~(-1)), group Ⅱ (n=12,Na1 0.002mg?kg~(-1)) and group Ⅲ (n=12,NS). The dosage was administrated intravenously in a bolus at the end of operation. The venous blood samples were taken respectively before anesthesia (T_1),Smin before and after the administration (T_1 ,T_3) to measure the plasma concentration of E and NE with high performance liquid chromatography,and those of A Ⅱ, ET and ANP with radioimmunoassay. The complications after the administration were observed. Result: Compared with T_1 and T_2, the plasma concentrations of A Ⅱ, E and NE obviously increased at T_3 in group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ (P

Objective To evaluate the curative effect of ultra-early microtrauma drainage in the treatment of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage. Methods Sixty-one cases of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage were divided into two groups: the ultra-early group (31 cases; received surgery within 6 hours after the onset) and the control group (30 cases; received surgery between 24 hours and 1 week after the onset).All these cases underwent microtrauma drainage for cleaning the hematoma. Results The effective rate and the marked effective rate in the ultra-early group were 83 9% (26/31) and 67 7% (21/31),respectively,both of which were higher than those in the control group (60% and 40%; ? 2=4 322,4 725;P =0 038, 0 030).The death rate in the ultra-early group (16 1%,5/31) was lower than that in the control group (40%,12/30; ? 2=4 322,P =0 038).Of the life quality of survivors,the values of ADL Ⅰ～Ⅲ accounted for 84 6% (22/26) in the ultra-early group and 55 6% (10/18) in the control group ( ? 2=3 182;P =0 074). Conclusions Ultra-early microtrauma drainage for hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage provides better curative effect and lower death rate than postponed operation.

Aim To investigate the effects of newly synthesized 2, 3-dimethyl-2-butylamine derivatives on potassium channels in cortical neurons from rats.Method On cultured cortical neurons, the influences of those novel compounds on I A and I K currents were evaluated using whole-cell patch clamp technique. Result On cortical neurons, these compounds (5),(6),(7),(9) showed no effects on outward potassium currents, while the compounds (4),(8) exhibited inhibition of I K currents. But on a rterial smooth muscle cells(SMCs), all the six compounds had potassium channels opening activities. While the other three compounds had no effects on potassium channels of SMCs, the compound (3) decreased the I K currents evoked on neu rons.Conclusion The novel 2,3-dimethyl-2-butylamine derivati ves had the different modulation of potassium channels on cortical neurons as SM Cs.

Aim To establish a cell model heterologously expressing Kir6.x and SUR subunits of K_(ATP)channels and to study the selectivity of iptakalim on different subtypes of K_(ATP) channels.Methods Cell were transfected with the pcDNA vector containing the coding sequenced of Kir6.x and SUR using liposome and the pEGFP-N1 vector encoding for green fluorescent protein was added for easy identification of transfected cells.Using immunocytochemical technique,we detected the expression of Kir6.x and SUR protein in[FL(2K2]transfected cells.The electrophysiological experiment was performed after transfection 48-72 h.In whole cell configuration,the effects of K_(ATP) channel openers iptakalim,pinacidil and diazoxide on the clone currents in transfected HEK-293 cells and the antagonism of K_(ATP) channel inhibitor glibenclamide were evaluated.Results Immunocytochemical study identified the expression of Kir6.x and SUR protein in transfected cells.The electrophysiological experiment showed that in cells with recombinant expression of the Kir6.1/SUR2B channel complex,iptakalim(100 ?m),pinacidil(100 ?m)and diazoxide(200 ?m)significantly increased the clone current from(-88.0?30.8) pA to(-2042.6?127.3) pA,(-1431.9?142.4) pA and(-1104.7?228.9) pA,respectively,at-100 mV,and the actions were inhibited by glibenclamide(10 ?m).In cells expressed with Kir6.2/SUR2A channel,both iptakalim and pinacidil activated the currents,which was sensitive to glibenclamide.While diazoxide had no effects on the clone currents.In contrast,in cells with Kir6.2/SUR1channel,diazoxide increased the activity of recombinant K_(ATP) channels,while iptakalim and pinacidil had little effects.Conclusion From these observations,the effects of K_(ATP) channels openers with different chemical structures on the subtypes of K_(ATP) channels were diverse.Iptakalim showed selective action on Kir6.1/SUR2B and Kir6.2/SUR2A,but not Kir6.2/SUR1 K_(ATP) channels

Objective:To examine influences of attention on the conflict monitoring system. Methods:Thirty normal adults participated in the matching-to-sample task. They were divided into two subgroups. One subgroup was required to attend to the color while ignoring the value attribute of a number pair. The other subgroup was required to attend to the value while ignoring the color attribute of a number pair. Subjects were asked to press one of the two buttons according to whether the two digits were identical in the attended attribute and event-related potentials were recorded on their scalps. Results: A N270 component of event-related potential was recorded to the conflicting stimulus pairs but not to the matching pairs. The amplitude of N270 increased and its duration prolonged under attended condition. However, its onset latency showed no significant changes. Conclusion: The conflict monitoring process is automatically initiated and then regulated and enhanced by the attention control system.

Objective Through the investigation and analysis to "Chinese Medical Digest" and its relative periodicals to get a general idea of the survival and situation of these periodicals and to establish the pattern for their survival and development. Methods Such methods as telephone consultation, questionnaire survey, interview, and conference discussion were adopted to collect the relative information of medical digest periodicals and thus an analysis was made upon it. Results There were 18 kinds of "Chinese Medical Digest" periodicals originally. Of all these 18 kinds of the periodicals, 6 kinds are still publishing, 10 kinds have transferred its nature to first-hand literature periodical, and 2 kinds have ceased their publishment. Conclusion As a result of the computer, the network and the full text database development, the survival of medical digest periodicals are endangered. However, regarding to the different domain of subject, different reforming measures should be taken.

Objective: To study the the expression and significance of MAPK8 gene in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) .Methods: 17 cases of oral normal tissues and 42 of OSCC tissues were collected. The relative expression of MAPK8 mRNA was detected by Real-Time PCR, the expression of MAPK8 protein was detected by immunohistochemical SP method. Results: Over expression of MAPK8 mRNA and protein was observed in OSCC (P ＜ 0. 05), the expression was correlated with the differentiation (P ＜ 0. 05) and clinical stage (P ＜ 0. 05) of the lesion, but not with the age (P＞ 0. 05) and gender (P＞ 0. 05) . Conclusion: MAPK8 gene may play an important role in the development of OSCC.

The role of arginine vasopressin ( AVP) played in proliferation and differentiation of mouse primary osteoblast and its mechanism was investigated. 100 nmol/ L AVP was added into the medium containing primary mouse osteoblast: (1) After being cultured for 72 h, the proliferation of the cells was counted with a cell counter. (2) The media of cultured cells on 2,4,6,8,10 days were harvested and tested for the secreted ALP concentration by osteoblasts, and the cells were lysed in order to test the ALP concentration in cytosol. (3) The alizarin red staining was employed to detect the effect of AVP on calcium nodules formation on 8 th and 20 th days. (4) The osteoblast cells were incubated with AVP for 20 min, and then were lysed. Radioimmune assay was applied to test the change of cAMP in cytosol. These results showed that, compared to negative group, 100 nmol/ L AVP significantly promoted the proliferation of primary mouse osteoblast ( P<0. 01). ALP secretion was increased remarkably ( P <0. 01), and the number and area of calcium nodules were increased considerably(P<0. 01). The intracellular cAMP was increased after incubating cells with AVP for 20min ( P<0. 01). These results suggest that AVP may promote proliferation and differentiation of mouse primary osteoblasts by cAMP signal pathway.

Objective To study the clinical manifestation and MRI feature of toxic encephalopathy after inhaling caffeine and sodium benzoate. Methods Three patients with toxic encephalopathy induced by inhaling caffeine and sodium benzoate were observed clinically and with MRI. Results The 3 patients were male. They all had definite addiction histories (the time of addiction for 3 years to 7 years ). There were special language and retropulsive dystonia besides the common characteristics of toxic encephalopathy:reaction retardation and disturbance of intelligence. MRI showed the change of generalized demyelination in bilateral symmetrical cerebral hemisphere, posterior limbs of internal capsule, corpus callosum, medial lemniscus, and cerebellum hemisphere dentate nucleus. The clinical symptoms of 3 patients were significantly improved 40 days after the adrenocortical steroid and neurotrophic treatment. The mild mood disorder remained in case 1. Conclusion Clinical manifestation and MRI of toxic encephalopathy after inhaling caffeine and sodium benzoate are known, so we could diagnose the patients of the disease in time.

Objective To assess the value of 18F-FDG PET-CT in monitoring early chemotherapy response in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).Methods 56 patients with DLBCL received 18F-FDG PET-CT before and after 2 cycles of chemotherapy (CHOP or R-CHOP protocol).The patients were divided into 3 groups,including complete response group (30 cases),partial response group (18 cases) and no response group (8 cases).The x2 test was performed on comparison of complete remission rate and the t test on SUVmax.Results Complete remission rate of complete response group,partial response group and no response group were 93.33 ％ (28/30),66.67 ％ (12/18),and 12.50 ％ (1/8),respectively (x2 =21.62,P ＜ 0.005).Complete remission rate of complete response group was higher than that of partial response group (x 2 =4.00,P ＜ 0.05).Complete remission rates of complete response group and partial response group were higher than that of no response group (x2 =18.58,P ＜ 0.005; x2 =4.51,P ＜ 0.05).A significant difference was observed in SUVmax of partial response group before and after chemotherapy (17.18±4.68 vs 5.20±3.35,t =14.32,P ＜ 0.001) and no obvious difference was showed in SUVmax of no response group between before and after chemotherapy (16.63±6.49 vs 13.81±5.95,t =2.073 2,P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion 18F-FDG PET-CT is very useful and helpful for predicting early chemotherapy response in DLBCL.
