To be on the alert on infants with esophageal foreign body, and to pay more attention to the button battery esophageal foreign body, the clinical data of a 12-month-old infant with button battery esophageal foreign body, which was missed diagnosis for up to 4 months, is analyzed. And the related literature is reviewed. An esophagoscopy was carried out to remove the foreign body. A favorable outcome was achieved. When the infants have unexplained gastrointestinal symptoms, we should consider the possibility of an esophageal foreign body. We should pay attention to the button battery due to its highly corrosive to the esophagus. Timely diagnosis, reasonable operation are the keys to cure.

Aim To study the effect of puerarin on reperfusion injury after thrombolytic therapy in acute pulmonary thromboembolism and its mechanism. Methods Thirty-two Japanese rabbits were randomly divided into sham operation group (group S),Thrombolysis-only group(group T), and Puerarin group(group Pur). Acute pulmonary thromboembolism models of rabbits were established with injection of autologous blood clots through the right heart catheters,haemodynamic monitoring was performed by introducing heart catheter through right jugular vein.The activity of plasma superoxide dismutase (SOD) and content of plasma malondialdehyde (MDA) were detected before embolization,2 h after embolization,2 h and 4 h after thrombolysis. ObjectiveTo investigate the expression and significance of the ABAT gene in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) using related databases. MethodsThe Oncomine database and GEPIA were used to analyze the expression of ABAT in HCC tissue. GEPIA was used to investigate the correlation of ABAT mRNA with the survival time and pathological stage of HCC patients. The MethHC database was used to analyze the methylation level of ABAT promoter region. The String database was used to analyze the network of proteins interacting with ABAT protein. The Human Protein Atlas was used to analyze the expression of ABAT protein in HCC tissue and the influence of the protein expression of ABAT on prognosis. ResultsThe mRNA expression of ABAT in HCC tissue was significantly lower than that in normal liver tissue; patients with lower mRNA expression tended to have a poorer prognosis (log-rank, P=0.002 1) and a higher degree of malignancy (P=0.002 34). The protein expression of ABAT in HCC tissue was significantly lower than that in normal liver tissue, and patients with lower protein expression tended to have a poorer prognosis (log-rank, P=2.14×10-3). The methylation level of ABAT promoter region in HCC tissue was significantly higher than that in normal liver tissue (P＜0.005). The proteins interacting with ABAT included ALDH1A3, ALDH9A1, ALDH3A2, GAD1, and GAD2, which might be involved in cell functions such as cell apoptosis, redox, and neurotransmitter secretion. ConclusionData mining of tumor gene databases shows that there are low levels of mRNA and protein expression of ABAT in HCC tissue, which is associated with patient’s survival time. At present, database mining can provide a reference for the diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of HCC and a theoretical basis for tumor research in the future.

Coactosin-like protein 1 (Cotl1), a member of the actin-depolymerizing factor (ADF)/cofilin family, was first purified from a soluble fraction of Dictyostelium discoideum cells. Neuronal migration requires cytoskeletal remodeling and actin regulation. Although Cotl1 strongly binds to F-actin, the role of Cotl1 in neuronal migration remains undescribed. In this study, we revealed that Cotl1 overexpression impaired migration of both early- and late-born neurons during mouse corticogenesis. Moreover, Cotl1 overexpression delayed, rather than blocked, neuronal migration in late-born neurons. Cotl1 expression disturbed the morphology of migrating neurons, lengthening the leading processes. This study is the first to investigate the function of Cotl1, and the results indicate that Cotl1 is involved in the regulation of neuronal migration and morphogenesis.

Objective To study the curative effects of jejunal exclusion surgery for STZ-induced T2DM SD rats.Methods 60 SD rats were induced to be the T2DM SD rats by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocini.As a result,55 T2DM SD rats were successfully acquired which were randomly divided into 3 groups,20 rats in the jejunal exclusion group (A),20 rats in the sham operation group (B) and 15 rats in the control group (C).Jejunal exclusion surgery was performed in group A,jejunojejunostomy was performed in group B,and group C were fed normally.The body weight,fasting blood glucose,fasting plasma insuhn level and GLP-1 level were measured before operation and at the 1st,2rid,4th,8th and 16th week after operation.Results As compared with that before operation and that of the control group,the body weight in group A markedly declined at the 2nd,4th,8th and 16th week (352.14±9.00,342.84±8.90,336.64±10.26,330.34±9.12,P＜0.05).The fasting plasma glucose levels in group A markedly declined at the 2nd,4th,8th and 16th week (14.62±1.10,12.12±1.38,8.75± 1.06,7.55±1.00,P＜0.05).The fasting plasma insulin level in group A was maikedly increased at the 2nd,4th,8th and 16th week (14.62±3.10,16.12±3.38,17.75±4.06,17.55±3.10,P＜0.05).GLP-1 level in group A was markedly increased at the 1st,2nd,4th,8th and 16th week (11.02±0.85,14.42±1.18,16.02±1.59,17.62±1.02,18.12±0.71,P＜0.05).Conclusions The jejunal exclusion surgery is effective in controlling blood glucose,which is an ideal and lasting method.This surgery has also showed influence on body weight.

Through the expert questionnaire (Delphi Indagate) to form Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Healthy Lifestyle Guiding Principles.We conducted two rounds of surveys of TCM experts in the field of preventive health care on the basis of previous literature research.This study was aimed to form the framework in order to entry to the TCM Healthy Life-style Guiding Principles.The results showed that the positive coefficient of experts in two rounds of investigation were 84.31％ and 100％,respectively.The authoritative decree were both more than 0.7.The expert opinion score mean median was 9.21 and 9.085.Median mean values were 7.965 and 7.925.The median scores of full marks were higher than 65.12％ and 66.67％.The minimum coefficients of variation were 0.11 and 0.10.It was concluded that in the investigation and study,the enthusiasm of the experts,professional standards and credibility were high.Expert opinion is more concentrated.Expert opinion is well coordinated and gradually converges through two rounds of surveys.Through the Delphi indagate,the basic framework and items of TCM guiding principles of healthy lifestyle were established,which laid the foundation for further standardizing the guiding principles of TCM in healthy lifestyle.
