1.Surgical treatment of Budd-Chiari syndrome caused by short segmental lesion of inferior vena cava and major hepatic veins

Objective To evaluate the results of radical resection for the treatment of Budd-Chiari syndrome (BCS) caused by short segmental lesions in inferior vena cava (IVC), and major hepatic veins (MHV). Methods In this series, resection of IVC occlusive segment and orthotopic artificial vascular graft transplantation were performed in 42 patients. Resection of major hepatic vein, hepatic venous plasty and orthotopic transplantation with artificial vascular graft were performed in 10 patients. Resection of major hepatic vein, anastomosis between hepatic vein and right artrium in 3 cases. Percutaneous transhepatic angioplasty in 10 cases. Results One patient died of complication. 58 cases were followed up for an average of 30 months. 3 cases in interventional group suffered recurrence and one in surgical group had recurrence. Conclusions The treatment of BCS by resecting inflicted segment of IVC or hepatic veins and orthotopic artificial vascular graft transplantation effect a radical cure in most cases.

The structure, karyotype and behavior of synaptonemal complex (SC) in the spermatocytes of hedgehog (Erinaceus euroaaus dealbatus (insectivora)) were analyzed by light and electron microscopy with a modified surface spread preparation which involves the use of sodium dodecyl-sulphate (SDS) and silver staining. The lateral elements of the synaptonemal complex have a constant width of about 50 nm, the distance between the two lateral elements is about 100 nm. The relative length and arm rationale constant for each autosomal SC. The relative length and arm ratio constant for ea of the autosomal SCs are very similar to that of mitotic autosome.The X and Y chromosome axes have a clear morphological distinction from the autosomal SC. The axes of X and Y chromosome pair and form a SC of certain length at pachytene stage. The axes of unpaired X and Y chromosome are heteropycnotic and display various morphological complexities. But these differentiations in hedgehog are primary than in other mammalians, such as human and mice. At pachytene stage the X and Y chromosome display an extensive side-by-side pairing segment with decreasing length as meiotic prophase progressed.
4.Influence of glycyrrhizin on paeoniflorin pharmacokinetic fate in unrestrained conscious rats by intravenous administration.

OBJECTIVEThe aim of this study is to develop a simple and rapid HPLC method and investigate the effect of glycyrrhizin on pharmacokinetic fate of paeoniflorin after intravenous administration.
METHODPaeoniflorin and glycyrrhizin was administrated to rat via vena caudalis, and paeoniflorin in rat plasm was determined by RP HPLC method and internal standard method. All data were subsequently processed by the pharmacokinetic Software WinNonLin. The non-compartmental pharmacokinetic parameters of area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC/min x mg x L(-1)), clearance (CL/mL x min(-1) x kg(-1) ) and volume of distribution (Vd/mL x kg(-1)) were calculated based on moment methods.
RESULTThe values of AUC, V(d) and CL was 166.81 +/- 26.94, 394.33 +/- 29.52, 18.40 +/- 3.12 in control group, respectively; however, the values of AUC, V(d), CL was 235.44 +/- 46.48, 266.63 +/- 48.43 and 13.16 +/- 2.59 in experimental group.
CONCLUSIONGlycyrrhizin significantly influenced the pharmacokinetic fate of paeoniflorin, increasing the value of AUC and decreasing CL and V(d).

Objective:
To investigate the effects of milrinone on levels of inflammatory factors and liver and renal function after CPB in rheumatic heart disease patients for valve replacement.
Methods:
From January 2014 to January 2016, 80 patients received valve replacement in the Central Hospital of Chongqing Three Gorges were randomly divided into observation group and control group by block randomization grouping method, with 40 patients in each group.The patients in the observation group were pumped intravenously with milrinone 0.5μg·kg-1·min-1 for 72h after surgery, while the patients in the control group were not pumped.The serum levels of IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, TNF-α were detected by ELISA before operation and on 0d, 1d, 3d, 5d after operation, respectively.The levels of ALT, AST, Scr were also detected at the same time.Moreover, the time for operation, extracorporeal circulation, interruption, mechanical ventilation, ICU and hospital were also compared between the two groups.
Results:
The levels of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8 and IL-10 increased immediately after operation in both groups[control group: (14.97±5.14)pg/mL, (52.45±10.37)pg/mL, (34.10±8.38)pg/mL, (32.27±8.45)pg/mL; observation group: (16.05±5.71)pg/mL, (54.39±8.56)pg/mL, (33.80±7.69)pg/mL, (31.48±5.94)pg/mL,
