Objective To evaluate the blood supply features and effectiveness of arterial chemoembolization for pedunculated hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods Angiography and chemoembolization via supplying blood arteries of tumor were performed in five patients with pedunculated hepatocellular carcinoma.Interventional procedure was carried out with tumor vascular infusion of 350 mg hot elemene emulsion and tumor embolization by cisplantin-lipidol emulsion(cisplantin 60-80 mg+lipidol 8-15 ml)and glutin.Results Ten interventional procedures(TACE)were undertaken in 5 patients.Angiography showed that tumor blood supply mainly coming from collateral circulation adjacent to the tumors,but partially from hepatic artery.Tumor sizes decreased from 30% to 50% in 5 cases,and AFP declined in 4 cases after the treatment. Conclusion Pedunculated hepatocellular carcinoma possessing different blood supply features from intrahepatocellular carcinomas.But transarterial ehemoembolization is still an effective method of choice for this treatment.

Objective To discuss the correlation between cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and uterine cervix cancer and the combination of TCT and colposcope for the investigation of cervical lesion.Methods 5545 patients were preliminarily screened by cervical fluid basement cell folium smear,in which 307 patients are masculine and 219 are negative,the 526 patients are suspected cervical lesions in clinical symptoms and they further underwent colposcopy and biopsy,the results were analyzed by pathohistology which is golden standard.Results CIN coherent dangerous factors analyzed by single factor Logistic regression analysis are:cervical HPV pollution,age of sexual activity,sexual partners numbers,protection of sexual life, STD history,age and frequency of miscarriage ( P < 0.05 ).The coincidence between TCT,colposeopy and pathologic diagnosis are 49.4%, 83.8% ;the omission diagnostic rate of LSIL,HSIL and CC from TCT are 63.63% ,74.44% ,100% ;the omission diagnostic rate of LSIL,HSIL and CC from colposcopy are 33.37%, 12.22% ,0;the sensitivity of TCT,colposcopy and TCT combine colposcopy for CIN are 61.2% ,84.6% ,94.5% and specificity are 85.4% ,88.2.% ,90.8%.Conclusions (1)The generation of CIN and cervical cancer are correlated with cervical HPV pollution,sexual behavior and various kinds of lower genital tract infection.(2) Fluid basement cell folium smear can promote the property of diagnosis,meet the demands of early stage uterus neck cancer and precancer lesion investigation,are suitable to be routine cheek methods in primary hospital.

Objective To evaluate the interactive effects of fine particulate matter and temperature on non-accidental mortality of residents in Pudong, Shanghai. Methods Daily mortality, air pollutants and meteorological data from Jan 1^st.2016 to Dec 31^st.2017 were collected.Generalized additive Poisson regression models was used to estimate the effects of PM_2.5 pollution on daily mortality, bivariate response surface models and temperature stratified models were applied to examine the interaction of temperature with PM_2.5 on mortality. Results A total of 43 345 non-accidental deaths were included, daily mean PM_2.5 concentration was 39.1 μg/m³, daily mean temperature was 17.7 ℃.A 10 μg/m³ increase in the daily PM_2.5 at lag 1 day was associated with a 0.56%(95%CI:0.11%-1.01%), 0.49%(95%CI:-0.19%-1.18%) and 0.22%(95%CI:-1.14%-1.60%) increase in non-accidental, cardiovascular and respiratory mortality, respectively.Higher risks were identified for males and the older (≥65 years).The effect estimates per 10 μg/m³ increase in PM_2.5 in medium temperature level were 0.59%(95%CI:0.04%-1.14%)for non-accidental, 0.51%(95%CI:-0.32%-1.35%)for cardiovascular and 0.51%(95%CI:-0.32%-1.35%) for respiratory mortalities.The PM_2.5 effects were approximately 2-4 times higher in higher temperature level for non-accidental and cardiovascular mortalities compared with other temperature levels; for respiratory mortality, the PM_2.5 effects was approximately 2-fold higher in lower temperature levels than the medium, although the interactions between temperature and PM_2.5 were statistically insignificant. Conclusions Temperature may modify the effects of PM_2.5 on mortality in Pudong, Shanghai and the interactive pattern may be different across disease-specific mortalities.

Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) can be used to characterize the orientation of water diffusion, and track white matter fiber bundles. The decrease of fractional anisotropy after stroke indicates impairment of structural integrity of fibers, even Wallerian degeneration if serious; in another hand, the increase of fractional anisotropy relates to the more recovery of motor function. The affected/unaffected ratios of fractional anisotropy are more suitable for predicting motor function recovery after stroke. The changes of corticospinal tract in diffusion tensor tractography can also predict the motor outcome in stroke patients.

Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of HFRS and rodent monitoring data in JiangXi province from 2012 to 2017, so as to provide scientific basis for controlling HFRS prevalence. Methods Descriptive epidemiological method was adopted to analyze the changes in time, region, and population morbidity of HFRS and rodent monitoring data from 2012 to 2017 in the province. Results From 2012 to 2017, there were 3 763 HFRS cases with 33 deaths reported in JiangXi province, the incidence was 1.38/100 000, the case fatality was 0.88%.The incidence in males was significantly higher than that in females( 2＝452.282, P<0.001).In the composition of occupation,the proprotion of farmers was decreased, while household workers, workers waiting for employment, students and other occupations were increased.There were two peaks in spring (from May to June) and winter (from November to January), and the winter peak was obviously higher than the spring peak. The average rat density at the two surveillance areas was 3.63%. Rattus norvegicus was predominant in residential areas and Apodemus agrarius was predominant in the wild.The six years on average index of rats with virus was 0.04. Conclusion The incidence of epidemic hemorrhagic fever in JiangXi Province generally showed an upward trend from 2012 to 2017, which suggest that we should continue to strengthen comprehensive prevention and control measures: rodent control in high-incidence areas, popularize vaccination and replenishment, and carry out health education for the whole population.

AIMTo evaluate the effects of surfactants on the pharmacokinetics and distribution in rats after intravenous administration of SOD liposomes.

METHODSThe liposomes were prepared by reverse phase evaporation method. The activity of SOD was assayed by method of xanthine oxidase.

RESULTSThe T1/2 of SOD solution, common SOD liposome, SOD liposomes modified by DSPE-PEG2000 and Tween 80 were 0.25, 0.34, 0.66 and 0.41 h, respectively; AUC were 12.48, 24.66, 41.16 and 33.02 microg x h x mL(-1), respectively. Compared with the common liposome, the liposomes modified by DSPE-PEG and Tween 80 decreased the content of SOD in liver and spleen, but increased in brain.

CONCLUSIONThe three kinds of liposomes could increase T1/2 and AUC in some extent, especially in PEG-L group. Tween-L could increase the SOD content in brain, and PEG-L could decrease the SOD content in the liver and spleen compared with the common liposome.

OBJECTIVETo explore the molecular mechanism of dutasteride inhibiting fertility by studying its effects on the expressions of the epididymal epithelial junction proteins Claudin1 and β-catenin in rats.

METHODSSixteen 3-month-old SD male rats were equally divided into an experimental and a negative control group to be treated intragastrically with dutasteride at 40 mg/kg per day and the same dose of solvent, respectively, for 14 consecutive days. Then, the sperm motility and morphology of the rats were detected by computer-assisted sperm analysis, the serum levels of testosterone (T) and dihydrotestosterone (DHT) measured by ELISA, changes in the tight junction of epididymal cells observed under the transmission electron microscope, the protein and gene expressions of Claudin1 and β-catenin determined by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry, and the conception rate of the mated female rats calculated.

RESULTSDutasteride significantly suppressed the serum DHT level, sperm motility, and fertility of the rats (P <0.05). Interspaces between epididymal epithelial cell tight junctions were observed, the volume of epididymal fluid obviously increased, and the expressions of Claudin1 and β-catenin gene and protein remarkably downregulated in the experimental rats (P <0.05).

CONCLUSIONDutasteride can significantly inhibit the fertility of male rats by reducing the serum DHT level, suppressing Claudin1 and β-catenin expressions, and damaging epididymal epithelial cell junctions.

OBJECTIVETo find a convenient and exact method for evaluating acrosome reaction in human spermatozoa.

METHODSThe semen of the normal male was mixed and then divided into 6 groups. Coomassie brilliant blue (CBB) staining, chlortetracycline (CTC) fluorescence staining and acid phosphatase (ACP) detection were used for morphological observation and data analysis of the acrosome status of the human sperm treated with or without progesterone.

RESULTSThere were obvious morphological differences between the acrosome-reaction and acrosome-intact spermatozoa in CBB staining and CTC fluorescence staining, and significant differences were observed between the experimental and control spermatozoa by the three methods (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONAll the three methods can be used to assess acrosome reaction in human spermatozoa, but Coomassie brilliant blue (CBB) staining is much more convenient and stable.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate treatment outcomes of mandibular complete denture supported by two endosteal magnetic-attachment implants in edentulous patients with severe mandibular alveolar ridge absorption.

METHODSEight edentulous patients with severe mandibular alveolar ridge absorption were chosen. Each of them was treated with a complete denture supported by two CDIC implants. The implants were inserted at the areas of two the first premolars respectively. After five months, two magnets were adhered to the inside of the complete dentures. Retention, masticatory efficiency and maximal masticatory force were measured before and after the magnets were adhered and six months later.

RESULTSStatistical analysis revealed that retention, masticatory efficiency and maximal masticatory force were all increased after the magnets were adhered (P < 0.01) and six months later (P < 0.01).

CONCLUSIONRetention, maximal masticatory force and masticatory efficiency were significantly increased after the endosteal magnetic attachment implants were applied. It is concluded that mandibular complete denture supported by two endosteal magnetic attachment implants is an effective method for severe alveolar ridge absorption cases.

Objective To explore the infection and drug sensitivity of ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu)and mycoplasma hominis (Mh)in vaginal secretion of gynecological outpatients.Methods The infection and drug sensitivity test of Uu and Mh in va-ginal secretion samples of 1 800 patients collected from January 2015 to April 2016 were detected with mycoplasma culture i-dentification and counting drug sensitivity kit produced by Zhengzhou Antu Luke Bioengineering Co.,Ltd.Results The positive rate of Uu(57.27%)was significantly higher than that of Mh(2.78%,χ2=33.69,P<0.001).The positive rate of mycoplasma was highest in the age group of 31~35(77.09%),but that of Uu was highest in the age group of 21~25 (65.83%)and that of Mh in 36~40 years old group(9.09%),in addition that of multiple infection by Uu and Mh was highest in less than 20 years old group(20.51%).There were statistical difference for Un,Mh and co-infection by Un and Mh between age groups(χ2=15.505~36.574,P<0.01).The top three drugs sensitive for mycoplasma were josamycin, minocycline and doxycycline and that last three ones were clindamycin,thiamphenicol and sparfloxacin.The drug sensitive rates for 12 antibiotics against Uu were higher than those against co-infection by Uu and Mh,but those of erythromycin,gat-ifloxacin,azithromycin,clarithromycin and Luo Hongmei against Mh were lower than those against co-infecion of Uu and Mh.Conclusion The detection of mycoplasma and drug sensitivity in vaginal secretions provides the experimental basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
